Staff acknowledged us and welcomed us in. I saw a sign on door for fig cake ice cream sundae and my boyfriend ordered a banana split. Fig sundae was (Told HOMEMADE) fig cake with caramel sauce topped with ice cream scoop, I only vanilla for these types of things and came with whipped cream. Can I just say the cake was hot or heated already and had an amazing warm seasonings in it and a slightly crispy bottom and that vanilla ice cream added the perfect topping to that. I will say that was the BEST cake I have ever eaten and I didn't even know if I liked fig!! (Loved it so much went back the next day and ordered 2 of them) His banana split he got chocolate, vanilla and they were out of strawberry so he got cherry with hot fudge and nuts and whipped cream on top!! But what really makes Jeremiah's stand out is the employees. The professional, polite and efficient service offered here is wonderful.

When I brought it to the counter to have it corrected, instead of a simple apology and a swap, I was met with interrogation. A staff member began asking me to essentially prove that my order was wrong, requesting a specific part of the packaging before she'd agree to fix it. She then walked back to our table with me to inspect the receipt and my family's food for herself. I've never in my life had to prove that a restaurant made an error on my order in order to get it corrected. I was polite and even smiled when I took the receipt and the wrong order back to the counter and asked for a correction. The person who responded instantly made me a suspect. I guess, I forgot what part of the South I was in. The correct sandwich did eventually arrive, but by that point the experience had already soured the meal entirely. I won't be returning to this location.

I grew up eating frozen custard in Lafayette In as a kid. There was a wonderful park (Columbian…read morePark) with the best swimming pool ever, a ferris wheel, a zoo, a lagoon with boats to rent, pony rides, a kids playground with all sorts of metal jungle bars and spinning wheels and slides, and a regional baseball park. As kids, we rode bikes to the park which was several miles from home. No helmets, but we were careful, as all children were back then. Right next to the park was the most amazing frozen custard stand. They were only open during the summer, because they made so much money selling to us kids from little to high school. I think a nickel got a cone which always meant riding home all sticky. I learned to love the way custard squishes in my mouth instead of having to chew it - my wife says it is like eating velvet - I now love the plain vanilla in a cup, because I leaned early on, that cones are just a mess. I also went to a frozen custard stand in Henderson NC when I would visit my grandparents and cousins 70 years ago - and that one might still be open with the original equipment. Of course our home made peach ice cream was worlds better, as it was made with fresh peaches and fresh cows milk, and I got to help crank. Andy's doesn't have a lot of flavors have - just chocolate and vanilla, but does have a lot of things to put in the custard. Personally I get the small cup because it is a pretty nice size for an icy treat. The nice thing about locally made custard is that it melts cold - doesn't seem to have gum arabica and sea weed in it, and the cream is fun to lap from the spoon. I'm a vanilla guy, and I have started buying quarts to take home - It melts really well without getting soupy in the microwave - just spoon the top soft out and refreeze. It never gets icy like store bought. It has a great drive through, and a well covered place to buy scoops and stuff. I was, and still am a Goodberry's fan also, and till Andy's popped up near my house it was a drive to Goodberry's, and Andy's is almost too convenient for me. I have to really work to not want to stop in and get custard every time I drive by. People are friendly there - honestly stop in and try the basics - vanilla or chocolate before you put a bunch of stuff you have to chew. Price is right - I do not care for their milkshakes - not enough structure for me - other than that I highly recommend Andy's. No animals were harmed in the writing of this review

The coolers are filled with to-go items, and there is even a separate check-out. If you are looking to enjoy your order there, you order at the register. They are a cashless facility, so remember your credit or debit card. You can get cones, cups, sundaes, and milkshakes. There are a few tables inside, and if you prefer to sit on the covered porch, there are tables and even some rocking chairs. The cows sometimes roam the pastures on cooler days. This visit, I went with the chocolate peanut butter ice cream brownie sundae. I wasn't expecting it to be so big and have as many of the toppings as it did. I couldn't finish it, but they had tops to put on it so you could take it to go. These were near where you pick up your order, so it's easy to grab one if you need one.
