I had never heard of Jeremiah's Italian Ice but caught a picture online and decided to make the effort. With only one location in the Triangle, I trekked up to Wake Forest for lunch and treats. Jeremiah sits in a large corner space in a busy plaza! Covered with bright graphics and offering a large side patio-greens area, this place is built for families and kids. Jeremiah's offers up italian ices and soft serve but the ultimate treat is to layer them in a cup so you get a bit of both and then add a mix-in. My Red, White, and Blueberry pie dessert was great! Strawberry and blueberry ice layered with vanilla ice cream and cookie butter crumbs. It worked well together although I'd like a bit more flavor out of the ices. Service was prompt but I imagine there's quite a way during busier periods. Here's to getting a 2nd and 3rd location in the Triangle so I don't have to drive so far, next visit!

Mango & Vanilla

We went here to meet our friends for the first time and would like to apologize for arriving 15 minutes before closing --staff were absolutely kind & leave about a 10 min time slot after closing for last minute customers, which is hard to find employees to do such things at any place nowadays. We loved that you could order from either inside or at the outside window facing the picnic tables. We were able to let our toddlers run around while placing our orders. We tried both mango with vanilla & orange with vanilla. Also placed a cookies 'n cream for Togo to drop off at our friend's who couldn't make it out. Loved the shopping center and the lighting around the outdoor seating just made it even nicer to enjoy the weather, good company and their ice cream!

Highly recommended this flavor combination! Definitely will be back! They were super quick placed my order when I was in the Publix parking lot and it was ready when I got there!

A fun new spot for Italian ice and ice cream in Wake Forest! Stopped in at the new outlet of this up and coming franchise. It's been open a week or so and you'd never know it.... The team knows their stuff and is friendly, welcoming and efficient. You can get Italian ice in 16 flavors, plus 8 rotating flavors. You can also get vanilla, chocolate or swirl ice cream. Or you can get the house specialty - the gelati. This is a layered mix or ice cream and Italian ice. Plus you can have add-ins to your layers. Tried what I consider a classic - orange ices layered with vanilla. The ice cream is smooth, creamy and rich. The ices are also smooth and sweet. It's not quite the same as Kohrs on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights, but darn close. Also tried chocolate ices layered with vanilla with crumbled oreos. A unique tasting cookies and cream. When the weather gets warmer there are tables and chairs on the patio and a walk up service window. For the cooler weather there is table service aabout 10 tables inside. Great addition in Wake Forest. And dangerously..... It's walking distance from my house.

I've been here 3 times already and I've always had a great experience. My wife and the kids went first and they were telling me how good it was, I couldn't believe it so I had to try. I have to say that I was positively surprised. The combination of regular ice cream with the Italian ice is very refreshing and flavorful. Plus, they have all kinds of flavors to tickle your fancy ! All teenagers working there have been courteous and respectful. Ambiance is great, they offer both indoor and outdoor seating so that you can choose. Pricing is also very reasonable so I am definitely Coming back a 4th time soon ...

Clean is the first thing that comes to mind. That paired with the friendly staff make it a great little spot. They say free samples all day! The custard is delish. We visited to meet and receive a care package from a non-profit and we were treated to the sweets but I'd go again!

My toddler loves it here... service is good and no matter the time the atmosphere is always great for this ice cream.

Located in a fairly new shopping center across from Heritage high school. We loved Jeremiah's when we lived in Florida and so happy that they are now in Wake Forest! Friendly service and clean, bright and yumminess for your gelati cravings! I foresee lots of future visits!

New spot for Italian ice that recently opened and it is great! A perfect addition to the area as there are no other Italian ice shops in Wake Forest. This is conveniently located across from Heritage High School in the new plaza. I am sure this will be the new after school favorite treat. Numerous flavors and super helpful, friendly staff makes this a great place to stop for a treat!

Birthday cake

The worker was very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and comfortable. I got a plain lemon ice (soft icees are my fav!) and my daughter got one of their mixtures called birthday cake. Normally, I'm not a fan on birthday cake anything, unless it's actual cake but this one wasn't too bad! My daughter loved it. Definitely will be going back.

Aside from the cost which is comparable to anywhere else, this was amazing and I'll definitely be back.

I grew up eating frozen custard in Lafayette In as a kid. There was a wonderful park (Columbian…read morePark) with the best swimming pool ever, a ferris wheel, a zoo, a lagoon with boats to rent, pony rides, a kids playground with all sorts of metal jungle bars and spinning wheels and slides, and a regional baseball park. As kids, we rode bikes to the park which was several miles from home. No helmets, but we were careful, as all children were back then. Right next to the park was the most amazing frozen custard stand. They were only open during the summer, because they made so much money selling to us kids from little to high school. I think a nickel got a cone which always meant riding home all sticky. I learned to love the way custard squishes in my mouth instead of having to chew it - my wife says it is like eating velvet - I now love the plain vanilla in a cup, because I leaned early on, that cones are just a mess. I also went to a frozen custard stand in Henderson NC when I would visit my grandparents and cousins 70 years ago - and that one might still be open with the original equipment. Of course our home made peach ice cream was worlds better, as it was made with fresh peaches and fresh cows milk, and I got to help crank. Andy's doesn't have a lot of flavors have - just chocolate and vanilla, but does have a lot of things to put in the custard. Personally I get the small cup because it is a pretty nice size for an icy treat. The nice thing about locally made custard is that it melts cold - doesn't seem to have gum arabica and sea weed in it, and the cream is fun to lap from the spoon. I'm a vanilla guy, and I have started buying quarts to take home - It melts really well without getting soupy in the microwave - just spoon the top soft out and refreeze. It never gets icy like store bought. It has a great drive through, and a well covered place to buy scoops and stuff. I was, and still am a Goodberry's fan also, and till Andy's popped up near my house it was a drive to Goodberry's, and Andy's is almost too convenient for me. I have to really work to not want to stop in and get custard every time I drive by. People are friendly there - honestly stop in and try the basics - vanilla or chocolate before you put a bunch of stuff you have to chew. Price is right - I do not care for their milkshakes - not enough structure for me - other than that I highly recommend Andy's. No animals were harmed in the writing of this review

The service is always top notch, the food delicious, and the prices are comparable to elsewhere. I tried a limited time burger on a pretzel bun with some pretzel bites and a mixer. Everything was beyond delicious. We love making Culver's our once a week order out meal. After this past trip, Culver's makes it back to the top choice list. Cannot say enough about this spot. What arrived at my table was a burger, completely wrong order, tomato included. When I brought it to the counter to have it corrected, instead of a simple apology and a swap, I was met with interrogation. A staff member began asking me to essentially prove that my order was wrong, requesting a specific part of the packaging before she'd agree to fix it. She then walked back to our table with me to inspect the receipt and my family's food for herself. I've never in my life had to prove that a restaurant made an error on my order in order to get it corrected. I was polite and even smiled when I took the receipt and the wrong order back to the counter and asked for a correction. The person who responded instantly made me a suspect. I guess, I forgot what part of the South I was in. The correct sandwich did eventually arrive, but by that point the experience had already soured the meal entirely. I won't be returning to this location.
