Was in the area and had the urge to get something sweet! We stopped here and it smelled soooo good. They offer a lot of sweet treats. They have something for everyone here. Ice cream, candy apples, fudge and more! We had their ice cream and fudge. They were running a special on the fudge buy 2 get one free. The ice cream was tricky because they don't do scoops but ounces. Everything we had was great!

We tried cake batter, chocolate peanut butter, and chocolate chip cookie dough. One was a double cone, the other was a single. For the total to be over $14... I would say it loses a star because while it's good, it's not THAT good. I also had to pay an extra $1 for a cup to put my melting cone in. The area it's in is super cute. Will be back.

Great quality ice cream! Not too sweet, just the right amount of consistency. Yes it could be expensive for ice cream but from the taste of the ice cream, I was glad I wasn't putting a whole bunch of artificial ingredients into my body. Will definitely come back again for desert!

I love to look at candy stores! We had time while we were waiting for Cowfish and so we came I here. I ended up buying sea salt caramels. My favorite!!! I wanted to get a bunch of things, but I did not.

When it comes to their ice cream, quality is king! We had a big scoop of Strawberry Chunk ice cream tucked into a delicate, crispy waffle cone. This had to be the best ice cream cone that I've ever tasted! The shop smelled heavenly as you walk in and the way all of its confectioneries were laid out lends to a sweet exploration. I also purchased the Pecan Brittle. I had high hopes this this treat since the ice cream was so good. It was nice and crunchy, but more salty than it was sweet. For this I was a bit disappointed which is why I downgraded my score from a 5 to a 4. However, I will be returning for more of that sweet ice cream.

You can stop in at Kilwins to grab chocolate, fudge or ice cream. We decided to buy a few pieces of chocolate, a chocolate covered marshmallow and graham cracker and two pieces of milk chocolate toffee. The selection is really good and so are the gift options. It's just not as good as the local options around the area.

I was happy to hear Kilwins was coming to North Hills! Kilwins is located in the Park Central building on the same side as Chuy's and Midtown Park. The store is huge and beautiful. It's hard to walk in there and just leave with one thing, everything looks so delicious. They are currently stocked to the brim with tasty looking Easter treats. My favorite thing at Kilwins has been the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, I use to get it all the time when I lived in Winston-Salem. I've gotten it here twice and both times I have been disappointed with the lack of cookie dough. The ice cream taste great, but in my scoop there is usually only two or three pieces. It's a bummer since it makes it more just like a scoop of chocolate chip ice cream. Not sure if it's been the bottom of the bucket or what has happened, but I hope it's not a continuous trend. The employees are friendly, but they need a bit more training. I asked if they would be doing any specials like they do at other locations (for example buy one get one free waffle cone night), she just answered I don't know. No, let me ask or honestly even saying no we won't be doing it. I don't know just showed no willingness to help. I'm sure it's just because they are new and hopefully that changes. I'll be heading back in again soon!

Had dinner in North Hills and somebody suggested that everyone go to Kilwins for dessert. I didn't know there was a Kilwins at North Hills, but I'm glad it's there. Within North Hills, Kilwins is across from Chuy's at the same buildings as the Park Central apartment complex. The store is clean and bright. Compared to other Kilwins location I've been to, this one is mid-sized. Kilwins of course is a chain that sells sweets. So they have candies, chocolates, fudge, and best of all, ice cream. They have about two dozen flavors on tap. Got a single scoop waffle cone for less than $5, and that is quite a bit of ice cream in a large waffle cone. Kilwins ice cream has always been pretty good, and this time was no exception. Definitely a good place to get some sweets and dessert in the North Hills area.

Fast service, great customer service & very patient with newcomers as myself. As you walk in you will see the place is spotless and the smell is great.

This was probably my third visit at this very location and the staff and service have always been pleasant/consistent. Their suggestions have also been spot on. Pictured here is the new fall flavor "the perfect Apple pie" and a scoop of the "Marsh-Mallow S'more"...DELICIOUS! 10/10 recommend

This place is Sooo good. It reminds us of a vacation spot at the beach. So glad we found it!

I just love that they are truly bean to bar (you can literally watch them sit and sort the beans, grind them, make the chocolate and all other steps of the process). The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient -- and while prices are a tad higher than your basic chocolates, they are reasonable for the high quality of premium treats you are going to get Just an additional thing I did not mention in my previous review: Their packaging is also great. Not only do they print off the individual names of chocolates you got if you make a box, there is a QR code which when you scan, takes you to the visual and descriptive online guide of all their flavors. Highly, highly recommend, and cannot see any reason why I would not make efforts to continue returning!

I walked in and asked for a…read morecoffee with citrus in it...my husband had remembered a drink he ordered there and asked me for it and that was the best way I knew how to say it. The lady behind the counter (middle-age, petite, long brown ponytail under a hat) scrunched up her nose at me and said..."we have lavender...that's the closest thing we have to citrus." She looked at me like I had two heads, but we went back and looked at old menus and saw it on there. It was an espresso with orange juice. Anyways, I changed the order and asked for a brown sugar cinnamon latte instead and when I asked her what kind of oat milk they had, she just gave me a look and said "the expensive kind." Then I tried to gently explain that I needed to know because my husband is super sensitive to gluten and sometimes oat milk has gluten and she all but rolled her eyes and said "our entire facility is gluten free." I get that...but no need to be snide about it! I was wearing sunglasses because I had been crying about some bad news I had gotten on the way to the shop and her mean attitude made me feel so much worse. There were a couple people in line behind me while she was making my latte and a sweet teenager walked behind the counter and said, "can I help who's next?" And I said "oh actually I wanted to order a cookie as well" and the lady practically yelled "I'LL GET TO YOU." and told the teen to help the other people, even though they weren't ready to order yet and were just standing there when I was ready and knew what I wanted. Then I asked for a lemon cookie and she tried to upsell me something else and I said no thank you. I was also having a tough time standing for long periods of time that day due to chronic illness and her making me wait made it worse....just abysmal customer service. I don't know if I freaked her out by keeping my sunglasses on inside or what but it felt very personal and I'm disappointed. And that lemon cookie was the worst thing I have eaten there by far. Very dry. Do better! EDIT: response to the owner: No, Michele is not always nice. You just missed it. Please see the attached picture for proof of the citrus coffee drink I was referencing. Very disappointed in my experience there and your dismissive response that somehow puts the blame back on my "bad day." Will not be back.
