This location is ALWAYS out of key ingredients. I've been 3 separate times over the last 6 months or so and each time they couldn't make something from my order. It's super annoying that they let you place the order online and you dont find out until getting there that they can't make it. Then the staff just seems annoyed that you're even there. read more

I have been patronizing this store for quite a few years. It's not a large restaurant but has ample seating if you wanted to dine in. We don't go here often. Usually for birthday cakes and the occasional treat night. The last 2 times I have come for cake, there were very limited options. Last visit was for the grandson's birthday. I asked if they had any more cakes than the 2 Oreo cakes in the freezer. I wanted the original DQ cake. No, unfortunately not. So I asked if they could call the 67th ave location, the next closest. You would have thought I asked them to commit a crime. Oh no. They aren't affiliated. I was pretty taken aback at the resistance to call another local store. 67th Ave had plenty of cakes and great customer service. I haven't been to a DQ in a long time but I was craving it randomly and he definitely went above and beyond, made me really happy to see he seemed to love what he did. Over the last year, the blizzards from this location continue to disappoint. They always leave 1/3 or 1/4 of just ice cream at the bottom. The candies never reach all the way through the entire cup, regardless of the size. We've even asked them to put candy in the bottom then add ice cream, add more candy then ice cream and then mix it and add a little more to the top and mix again. And still there is just ice cream in the bottom. VERY UPSETTING when you consider how much a blizzard costs. read more

The reason I hate this place is, I ordered an ice cream sundae with a chocolate shell but, she charged me 0.89 cents for the extra shell and didn't add it! The layer of shell is so thin, it cracked when I tried to eat the ice cream part. The girl was a blonde lady with glasses and the time was 6/10/2024 at around 8:30pm. They are so nice here. They make the best blizzards especially if your luck enough to get the short very young Asian person to make it. That person is awesome. It's covid-19 time and that kid is wearing gloves...thank god. Way to go. But none of the other employees were. No drive Thru here but they get you in and out quick. They measured out 6' for each person to stand behind the line on the floor although idiot customers aren't listening or watching that. I'll do delivery from now on. Parents come in with a few kids that get real close to you and possibly spread the virus to u wearing no masks because we are not recommended to wear them as of this month. I'm staying home. Well where to start...there was only 1 person running everything on a Monday at lunch time with her hair down on her shoulders (not very appetizing). Waited fir several minutes while she took and then made the order for the 5 in front of us. Then she took my order and mentioned the hot dogs came as a combo with drink, chips, mustard, ketchup, and relish. I asked for French fries instead. No such luck! Wasn't even asked if I wanted a receipt. Lobby Area- 1 table had a pile of used napkins. There was a CUSTOMER- who was nice enough; to pick the pile up (while waiting his turn in line) and threw them away. GOOD LUCK - finding a clean table. The table tops- didn't look like they had been wiped down. This location was not that busy between 12:30- 1:30. Saw 3 groups of people walk out before ordering. Less than 10 people (including us) ordered and was served some type of food. You would think cleaning the lobby would be on a priority "Of things to do"!!!!! This is a Dairy Queen like all the rest. Good stuff but it HAS NO DRIVE THRU! A Dairy Queen w/o a drivethru is almost as bad as a DQ w/o ice cream. Seriously! Whaaa waaa waaa. It's stupid. Otherwise it's just like any othe DQ. It's friggin busy most evenings, especially after dinner. I'd give it 4 or 5 stars but once we rolled up on the store 5-10 minutes before closing and they had the door locked. KIDS! It sucks being denied ice cream. Maybe I should give them 2 stars. Walked in tonight and terrible service. I was ignored for over 15 minutes by Xavier and Cayley. Finally, Xavier acknowledge us and I expressed my dissatisfaction with their customer service. I told both servers that an acknowledgement would have been nice, such as we'll be right with you. Both reps looked at us and kept filling their to go orders. That and tonight the staff closed 10 minutes early, I know being that customer at the end is annoying but if you're suppose to be open, you should be open. Feb 20th 2022, 3:10pm. We ordered 2 large hot fudge sunday's and a pup cup for my service dog. The sunday's had the saddest looking ice cream I've ever seen at any Dairy Queen- instead of the cute, multiple layer ice cream with the curl on the top, they looked like flattened pancakes. To top it off, there was barely any hot fudge on them. Then the employee said they didn't do Pup Cups, which all other Dairy Queens do, and I'm certain this one did just 2 weeks ago when we came in. I don't know if the employee was new or just didn't care any longer about his job, but it was a thoroughly disappointing visit. read more

I stopped in here yesterday on my way home. It was clean and the place had maybe two people inside eating icecream at about 4pm. A family of five walked in the side door and cut in front of me (I was alone). They took forever deciding what they want and so finally another employee came out from the back to help me. He made my Oreo Cheesequake and I went and sat down. Other than the cheesecake peices, it was just "meh." It didn't really have a taste other than cold, if that can be considered a flavor. I was disappointed that I'd spent $3.78 on a small Blizzard, but considering how hot it was yesterday (in the 90s) I am glad I had something to cool off. Also to be noted, this place sells food other than icecream, but it looks like all they make are hot dogs. And it reminded me of how one would heat up something at a gas station because that's exactly how they cooked the food for the group of five in ftont of me. I did manage to get a Blizzard card out of the deal so that when I go back (or hopefully find another DQ), I can eventually get a free Blizzard. read more

Come here often with my family of 6, usually once a week. We fill up the blizzard cards quickly! Lol The service is always friendly and one time I left my wallet there with almost 300 cash in it, figured out where I'd left it and picked it up the next day and not a dollar was missing. I go to this particular DQ location quite regularly - I'm a Blizzard addict, what can I say? The servers are always courteous and friendly (a few people leave something to be desired, but they're still fairly pleasant to the customers). Unfortunately, this location is limited - the only food besides their treats that they sell are BBQ sandwiches, hot dogs, and potato chips. All in all, not a bad place. :) read more

Well today I stopped by this dairy queen because I heard they had a good deal were you buy one blizzard and get a second for 99 cents too good to pass!! When I got here there was almost a line out the door. But much to my surprise the place looked really clean and the line moved really fast. When I reached the counter the lady was really nice she took the time to ask me how my day was and she even apologized for the wait you dont find many places that do that . Mind you I probably only waited under 5min which was not bad at all. I really like the fact that this dairy queen actually gives you the right amount of candy in blizzards too because I have been to a couple and there is probably only a few pieces of candy. Overall the staff was extremely nice and the service is fast. I really liked the fact that it was clean even if they were busy. I will come back again. read more
