Freshly made ice cream. We came on Saturday afternoon and only one employee was working. Took a while to get our large group ice cream, and multiple people came in after and had to wait. Employee was very nice though and gave out many samples. I would recommend the "dough it up." Milkshake was well made with plenty of ice cream. Nice outdoor seating. Clean inside. Plenty of parking. Overall, good experience with good ice cream. Only a four star because of lack of employees. read more

Don't rely on them for cakes. Dropped the ball on my sons Spider-Man Birthday cake wasn't ready at the day of pick up.

We frequent this location to support our local "village". It's gone downhill. The last six times we've gone the ice cream is so soft it's melted before we get out the door. Not sure their freezer is keeping proper temperature. This Boo special was HORRIBLE! Nothing like the pictures and tasted yuck. Don't even get me started on what it looked like after going through my plumbing. Parents beware if your kids eat it! AND they discontinued Amaretto! read more

Clean, comfortable store. Helpful and pleasant employee. All the creative flavors and choices of menu items you'd expect from a Cold Stone franchise. read more

Note that as with any frozen yogurt/ice cream place, it's always way cheaper to get the take home option as it gives you way more of their product. But even the take home options are more expensive here than any other place. I got their largest size which is 42 oz. You have the option of having 6 mix-ins which are their candy add-ons. At first, she said I could only put two different ice cream flavors, but I let him know that other places allow for 3; he said it would count as a mix-in. It's odd that different Cold Stones in the greater Phoenix area have such different rules for their take home ice cream. This cost me $22.03. Note that a Breyer's ice cream of the same size in a grocery store costs around $6=. I tried out their chocolate, pistachio, and coffee flavors. Definitely chocolate and pistachio were my favorite; I'm not a fan of the nut but I love the flavor so I'm really glad they have the ice cream without the nuts itself. I was also surprised there was only one person working there. If there was another customer, I imagine it would've taken awhile for my order to be done. read more

This is the second place I've ever placed a Too Good To Go order, and I am so glad I did! There was a bit of a wait because there were a bunch of customers and only 2 people working, but they got all the people using that app their orders fast! For $4 total they gave us a small cup and a medium cup of chocolate brownie ice cream. It was pretty tasty! Would definitely do another too good to go order from here again. read more

Destiny went above and beyond to make my daughter, who has food allergies, an ice cream she'd enjoy. Wonderful customer service. I highly recommend. read more

We only come here bc it's a for sure my kids will enjoy and eat the whole little small cup. Cake batter with sprinkles is my little ones go to. My son he has to try allllll the flavors so he knows what he wants. You can't go wrong with ice cream and yummy toppings mixed in. read more

Nice spot to come to after spending hours in the heat. Love Cold Stones. got some Cookies and Cream flavor with my Almond Prailine mix lol. I also like the ice cream with sugar cones plucked or crushed inside swirl mixes. Ice cream I's good, friendly people here, no complaints at all. read more

If you want ice cream I'd get someone to deliver it to avoid the moody teenagers that work there. Poor service and minimal effort. One of them also wasn't wearing gloves which was concerning. read more

Sunday night, very upsetting teenage girls were very unkind unprofessional. Our ice creams were not filled in the cup and was missing toppings. Would give a zero if possible. read more

Went 10 minutes before they closed and said they were "already closed". I was going to order just one icecream cone for my sister's birthday and was turned away. read more

Second time in a week they're closed at least 15 minutes before close. So frustrating!

Ice cream was good and everything was served correctly, service was quick. Staff kind of looked like they wanted to throw every customer into the sun though. I asked for time to just look at the flavors (like twice) but i think they were more keen on taking my order immediately. I'm also a service worker so I understand, it was just odd. I think there are better locations than this one. Birthday cake flavor was solid though. read more

I am not one to ever complain but this photo says it all- this is an employee sitting with her feet on the counter where food is prepared and served! Very unsanitary. She also has her phone in her hand which is so unprofessional in the workplace. I will say that the ice cream (as always) was delicious but man I don't think I'll go back this location knowing health codes and professionalism isn't respected. So bummed read more

Every time we come here we get amazing customer service. The ice cream is always great and the restaurant appears to be clean and a comfortable place to enjoy your snack inside or out. 10/10 love this place and the people working here! :) read more

I've had no previous problems at this location so this review is specifically for this one incident. I've waited almost a year for the "at the end of the rainbow" flavor to come back and I was very disappointed. While the ice cream did have the Lucky Charms marshmallows and I believe marshmallow cream, it had absolutely no flavor other than that. I'm quite positive that the regular cereal was not mixed in that particular batch. I ended up having to throw it away because it's lack of taste. read more

I hadn't been to this place in a long time because the service was so poor before. I was happy to see that there's new owners: a nice young couple and they really seem to care about their customers and their experience the store is a lot cleaner and the staff seems happier and better trained. I will definitely be back and I recommend you give this location a try. read more

I get the chocolate silk shake from this place and it smacks everytime. The lemon sorbet was good as well. If they brought more vegan options that would be great. This is a nice place to go for a treat when you have a small group of people gathering for conversation read more

Was here on Sat Sept 14 during the evening (8pm). The three delightful young ladies treated our family with such kindness and consideration. They were friendly and made sure our experience was pleasant. They made sure our order was correct. I am so glad that I decided to try this cold stone location last night. It was really busy, but the workers did such a great job of really getting the orders out to all of their customers. It looked super clean. I will be back to this location after the great service. After reading reviews, this place has new ownership, and they are doing a really great job! read more

Pregnant and craving some ice cream so I went into this location on a Saturday night at 9:13pm with my child and was told "sorry we can't serve you we're going on a break we've had too many door dashes tonight come back at 10pm (which is when they close..) I laughed at first but then she said she was serious, which was humiliating in a store full of customers...funny thing is they served the couple who walked in after us..bad business especially when there were at least 3 people behind the counter working..I've lived in Arrowhead my entire life and have never had any business do something like that. read more

Since the change in management a week ago it is soooooooooooo much better now. You can tell the new owner really cares. It's like night and day from the old owner to the new owner. I'm so glad I didn't give up on them. It's my neighborhood cold stone so don't want to go anywhere else. They haven't been out of stock yet on my favorite flavors. Appears they are now trying to stay on top of their inventory so that every flavor is available read more

The best ice cream with the nicest staff. Their Quality manager does a great job. Great selection of flavors.

Overall really closer to a 3.5. Ordered a cake online about 3 days in advance and was able to pick it up in store on the day that I needed it. Service was pleasant when I went to pick up the cake and the product itself tasted great! My only issue is that I requested that a "Happy Birthday" message be written on the cake and it was not as nice or as professional as I'd expected. I didn't really mind it because it was for a very small, intimate occasion, but I feel like employees need to be provided with more/better training so that cake inscriptions can look a bit more nice and presentable. Just a caveat for cake orders so you know exactly what you're getting in terms of presentation. No other complaints other than that! read more

FOLLOW-UP: The store has a new owner and they did refund my money and apologized to me. I am changing this review from 1 star to 3 and give new ownership a chance. Original Review: Just placed an order for over $60.00 for delivery on their web site. We ordered 2 ours size ice cream mixtures, 13 dog biscuits, 2 waffle bowls, and 2 peanut butter cup candy. When the order was delivered, there was 1 dog biscuit (for $9.99), no waffle bowls, and extremely few, if any, mix-ins for my wife's ice cream. I ordered the peanut butter perfection with extra peanut butter and fudge, no candy, and there also was not a lot in there. We called the store twice. There is nothing they can do to rectify the situation. It is now up to us to contact the store manager, Door Dash (which I guess does the delivery, though they don't tell you that), and they will NOT correct the situation. It is so nice that we have to do all the work!!!! They screw up and we have to do the additional work! They did tell us we can go to the store to pick it up, but then again, if I wanted to do that, why would I have paid for delivery? Beware with this location, if something is wrong, it will be up to you to correct, they do not have a qualified person on staff to take care of it. Good luck if you want to go there!!! FOLLOW UP: I asked to be contacted today, especially as they charged me for items I never received and their employee refused to do anything about it. I have NOT heard anything from anyone. Just goes to show you the level of customer service to expect from Cold Stone, both the store and corporate. I wonder how long it will take. I bet if it was their money, they would have been in touch today. read more

There were two kids working when I went in which one was wearing headphones and could not here a thing that I was saying. We waiting for about 15 minutes before being helped even though two girls were in front of us. The ice-cream was good however their were ice-cream scoopers on the floor and their floor was covered in water and ice cream. The kids were cussing, laughing, not paying attention to any customers and more. read more

Signature honey graham with chocolate shavings is delish! Don't be shy to ask for the kiddos size which is just enough. Very wonderful experience and will enjoy our next visit. Nothing bad to say here! read more

This location is much improved with the new ownership. The staff seems better trained. Confused, lackadaisical young staff. Didn't really seem to care about the customer. They didn't know my order although I had read it word for word off their menu. They do give you a heaping amount. The place could be a lot cleaner. read more

We usually love this place. Tonight that changed. They have a new girl, ok, cool. However our order was wrong. When I got home and realized it was as wrong, I called the location. Josh said oh yah I had a feeling it was wrong, cool bro why didn't you make it right in the moment? then when I asked if they delivered (to get the right order) he reminded me that it was cold stone. Thank you for reminder. When you look up the info, it actually says, delivery! Soooo we will go to the other location. Clearly the training is lagging at this location and even though he knew it was wrong he still went with it. Not cool. read more

High school kids who were more concerned with their phones than helping customers. Dropping F-bombs with rude attitudes! I got a Regular that was half full with mix-ins that were left on the cold stone. Extremely disappointing with you pay $9 for ice cream... read more

Doordashed from here and what we got was our Icecream with barely any of the toppings we asked for.

The ice cream itself was very good...it's cold stone, of course it's good. I was shocked that when I walked in there was only 1 employee working. There were a lot of people in there and he was doing the best he could but he's only one guy. I feel like they were not properly staffed. Will definitely be coming back because I do like cold stone but I hope the service will be a little bit better read more

More training needs to be done for the employees. The mixing was not done well and half of the toppings were left behind. Scrap them up and put them in the bowl people!!! Also, the poor girl was way off and didn't get enough ice cream for the size that I ordered so she just added more to the top making the fruit to ice cream ratio off even more. Sorry to say but I won't be back to this location. read more
