We just had the WORST experience at this location. Last week my husband and I walked in for a cookie and soda. We decided to order 3 dozen cookies for our daughter's soccer team and scheduled to pick them up a few days later on Friday. My husband went around 3:00 to pick up the order and it was wrong. They made 3 dozen small cookies. Not what we ordered. Because it was a "custom order" they would not refund our money nor would they bake the proper order. There was ZERO apology. ZERO care. Nada. Over $50 lost! With the economy being what it is I believe that good customer service is a big deal and will help businesses survive these difficult times. Accidents happen, I completely understand the mistake. But how they handled the situation was terrible.
I'm not a big fan of The ambiance here because it seems to be a spot for loud teenagers watching videos and this place is small so it gets loud and it's awkward when waiting for the cookies. The the cookies are delicious. They are soft and great. They are very fulfilling, but also very expensive. The service is fast and friendly.
We love Twisted Sugar! Be it ordering off DoorDash or popping by the store, Twisted Sugar never disappoints. Their cookie variety is par none. They are a bit smaller than their pink-boxed competitor, but, at least in my opinion, Twisted Sugar has a better variety and a better flavor. They also have flavors of the month, so you have the chance to try your newfound favorites a few times before they rotate out. I also like the soda options that Twisted Sugar offers. It's reminiscent of the soda huts that are speckled around Utah. They also have a wide variety of sugar free flavors, which my dentist and I appreciate. Whenever I'm in the area, I simply must stop here. Give it a try and you'll be on the same boat!
i love it here, i compared the nutrition to crumbl and this definitely is a good alternative and have their own unique vibe. def one of my top pics
Cookies and soda?! BRILLIANT! Popped into Twisted Sugar to grab a cookie and sodas and found these adorable Love Bundles! One of our favorite things about Twisted Sugar is the seasonality in their cookie assortment and sodas! They had drinks called The Kelce, The Taylor and The Mahomes to play off the Super Bowl. Love the cleverness. We ordered The Blush & a red velvet cookie for an impromptu and budget friendly day date. Their cookies are sweet, pretty and fun - and their drink menu is IMPRESSIVE! Any fellow soda fiends? This is the spot!
I stopped by to get some cookies for my husband. This was my first time and the lady behind the counter was super sweet and nice and actually took time to explain what the cookies were like. She gave me some recommendations. She was super patient with me. The service itself was 10 out of 10. The cookies themselves were amazing, especially the lemon tart. I definitely will be back.
My first time trying the chocolate chip cookies and the lemon cookie. Review is based solely on that. The chocolate chip cookies tasted more like butter. I am not sure if they are undercooked or what, but they have a small mound (see photo). The lemon cookie with lemon frosting didn't have a strong lemon flavor, it took a bit to taste the lemon, but some don't like strong lemon so it's all about what you prefer. The first interaction ordering the cookies was pleasant. The girl handing the cookies to you appeared to be unhappy at work. She didn't smile or say thank you, I said thank you, she said nothing. I am all about excellent service and expect quality. The ambiance was fun. It's is a small area so not much room to sit and eat your cookie or drink your drink, but still fun. If you are a cookie connoisseur, give it a try as your experience may be different then mine. I always say try everything once.
So Hard to Choose Stop in to pick up a treat but it was so hard to choose a cookie everything looked amazing. The service was quick and the staff was friendly and helpful explaining the cookie options as are so many choices, not only with cookies but for drinks too. My favorites were the lemon raspberry, smores and banana cream. These cookies are very soft, fresh and very flavorable. The menu is loaded with options, there is something to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth. In addition to great tasting cookies Twisted Sugar has shakes and flavored sodas. You can make your own fountain drink with flavors you select or choose one from the menu. The fountain drinks are refreshing, and just like the cookies, reasonably priced. Stop in grab a cookie and soda, you won't be disappointed.
Cookies! With such a big selection of flavors, we decided to go with a 6 pack to bring home. I chose 3 and my husband chose 3. They brought the box out and off we went. We took a drive up to Lake Pleasant, then drive back down to Phoenix for dinner before heading home. It wasn't until we got home that we opened the box and looked at the cookies. I knew immediately that it wasn't quite right because the first cookie I ordered was the Crinkle and there was clearly no Crinkle in the box. I was disappointed. And honestly, that's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. So far we've only had one cookie each. I had that.lemon tart sugar which was delicious. The texture of the cookie was perfect - not too hard and not too soft. Hubby had his red velvet, which he really enjoyed. He may have said it's one of the best cookies he's ever had. We'll be back again, and this time I'll make sure we check the box before we leave the shop. Note - they also have a large selection of beverages, but we didn't try any of those.
The person working at the front counter was somewhat friendly, but didn't seem to know how to do her job very well. She's not exactly somebody that would sell a lot of cookies. My cookies were served to me in this paper bowl thing. No lid not for the box and I thought that was really strange. I think there needs to be some quality control here-- how to serve the product. I don't think it's appropriate to serve two cookies to go in an open container.
Love their peanut butter flavor and pink with sprinkles. They remind me of Crumbl but better as you can eat more than one of their cookies and still feel good. They also have an assortment of drinks which is fun. It's very clean inside and the people working the counter are nice.
I don't think it's possible to be sad in here. Ha Ha Ha It smells like Heaven. Today I came for a drink but left with a cookie too, gotta get that sugardoodle. My drink today was a Coke Zero with the classic (vanilla and cream) so good. Service was wonderful as always.

It's a cute shop with lots of sweet options. It wasn't busy when we went, but it was about an hour before closing. Service was fine, polite, all that jazz. Good vibes & there's a cute spot at the entrance for good photo ops. There were a lot of cookie options. We got a 6 pack so we can be big backs. 1 plain peanut butter, 1 pb with Nutella, 1 pb with Reese's pb cups on it, 1 sugar with pink frosting, 1 sugar with salted caramel, 1 sugar with "cookies and cream" frosting. So, we cut some up bc even though I love sweets, I can't eat them like I used to. The sugar cookie based options are very very sweet. I ate 1/8 of the pink sugar frosted cookie, and it was so so so sweet. Literally sweeter than the 1/4 I had of the peanut butter with chocolate frosting and Reese's on top. Ratings: Pink frosting on sugar cookie 5/10 bc it was so sweet Reese's with chocolate frosting & peanut butter cookie 9/10 -peanut buttery & not too sweet for what it was. Yum. Salted caramel with sugar cookie base 6/10 -nice flavor but so so sweet Cookies and cream -sugar cookie, it was good but mostly tasted like a frosted sugar cookie 6/10 Peanut butter cookie- this is a 9/10. It's a very good peanut butter cookie. Definitely a good choice, it's not too sweet. Nutella peanut butter - super tasty, but the Nutella flavor was a bit "muted". Still 8/10 Overall, this is definitely a spot where you can crush your sugar cravings. I haven't tried the drinks yet, but I'll have to try them next time. read more

Stopped in today after hearing about how great the cookies are and that they have Dole Whips. They did not disappoint. I decided to have a cookie and dole whip as my birthday lunch . The cookie I opted for was the Lemon Tart and I got a Mango Dole Whip. My husband opted for the Caramel Sugar cookie and an Orange Dole Whip. We both tried it all and it was great. They do offer half dozen and dozen deals for the cookies which comes out better priced than if you go singles. But since we just wanted one each we opted for singles. The total cost for our 2 drinks and 2 cookies was just under $16 (to help give you a price idea). This is a great addition to the area and I can see this being a huge hit. We will be back. read more

Thank you for the great comments!
I wish I had a Twisted Sugar closer to me, but wow, these cookies are worth driving all over for! I love the lemon blueberry cookie (the May monthly cookie), the birthday cake cookie, the cookie butter oatmeal cookie, and the plain chocolate chip! There are also amazing gluten free options that doesn't feel like it's a gluten free cookie. To top it all off, there are some fun soda options and the workers are more than willing to recommend their favorites and most popular flavors if you get overwhelmed. The workers were cheery and very enthusiastic; you can tell that they love their job. A quick tip though: on maps, it says the location is in one area, but it's actually along the strip of buildings in the back. A bit confusing, but not hard to find! read more

I've been wanting to try this place out for a while and finally got the chance to. I got a 6 pack it was around 17 dollars after tax which I'm sure you're thinking "wow that's a lot for cookies" but it's definitely fair given the size of the cookies and the amount of different things that go into them. I got peanut butter , birthday cake , salted caramel , chocolate chip and sugar doodle. They were all amazing , I was hesitant on the birthday cake flavor but it was so good , had white chocolate chips in it so good! But my two favorite was the peanut butter simple but well done and sugar doodle ! My husband isn't a big fan of crumbl but to my surprise he loved them and said he couldn't wait to go back. He's not really a sweets type of person but he really enjoyed the cookies. The staff was also great and they don't rush at all especially if you're a newbie like me going there. read more

We only tried their cookies, but they were so good! Highly recommend. The store was clean and everyone was super friendly. Honestly the cookies are better than crumbl and I like that they have more options available at once. I ordered some for an event and it's nice to have variety. They have a very light and fluffy frosting on top instead of thick. read more

Yay!! So happy you liked the cookies! Thanks for the awesome review!
FUN! Will brake for sugar! Super fun concept. Creative options for cookies and beverages. The cashier was SO patient walking me through all of the options at Twisted Sugar. I enjoyed their signature cookie "Twisted Sugar", which is Sugar cookie with coconut frosting. One cookie is very filling. The cookies are moist and surprisingly thick. You can custom create sodas and waters. SO many add-in flavors, including many sugar free options. I can't wait to try their many ice cream based whips. Twisted Sugar has a great app. They have curbside pickup in the back of the building. Great new addition to the area. Surprisingly affordable treats. read more
