It's a cute shop with lots of sweet options. It wasn't busy when we went, but it was about an hour before closing. Service was fine, polite, all that jazz. Good vibes & there's a cute spot at the entrance for good photo ops. There were a lot of cookie options. We got a 6 pack so we can be big backs. 1 plain peanut butter, 1 pb with Nutella, 1 pb with Reese's pb cups on it, 1 sugar with pink frosting, 1 sugar with salted caramel, 1 sugar with "cookies and cream" frosting. So, we cut some up bc even though I love sweets, I can't eat them like I used to. The sugar cookie based options are very very sweet. I ate 1/8 of the pink sugar frosted cookie, and it was so so so sweet. Literally sweeter than the 1/4 I had of the peanut butter with chocolate frosting and Reese's on top. Ratings: Pink frosting on sugar cookie 5/10 bc it was so sweet Reese's with chocolate frosting & peanut butter cookie 9/10 -peanut buttery & not too sweet for what it was. Yum. Salted caramel with sugar cookie base 6/10 -nice flavor but so so sweet Cookies and cream -sugar cookie, it was good but mostly tasted like a frosted sugar cookie 6/10 Peanut butter cookie- this is a 9/10. It's a very good peanut butter cookie. Definitely a good choice, it's not too sweet. Nutella peanut butter - super tasty, but the Nutella flavor was a bit "muted". We just had the WORST experience at this location. Last week my husband and I walked in for a cookie and soda. We decided to order 3 dozen cookies for our daughter's soccer team and scheduled to pick them up a few days later on Friday. My husband went around 3:00 to pick up the order and it was wrong. They made 3 dozen small cookies. Not what we ordered. Because it was a "custom order" they would not refund our money nor would they bake the proper order. There was ZERO apology. ZERO care. Nada. Over $50 lost! With the economy being what it is I believe that good customer service is a big deal and will help businesses survive these difficult times. They are a bit smaller than their pink-boxed competitor, but, at least in my opinion, Twisted Sugar has a better variety and a better flavor. I am not sure if they are undercooked or what, but they have a small mound (see photo). The lemon cookie with lemon frosting didn't have a strong lemon flavor, it took a bit to taste the lemon, but some don't like strong lemon so it's all about what you prefer. The first interaction ordering the cookies was pleasant. The girl handing the cookies to you appeared to be unhappy at work. She didn't smile or say thank you, I said thank you, she said nothing. I am all about excellent service and expect quality. The ambiance was fun. It's is a small area so not much room to sit and eat your cookie or drink your drink, but still fun. Came here for the first time. Brought my son whom is allergic to peanuts. So with that being said. We ordered a 12 pack for the family. I asked the guy working if he could put my husband's peanut butter cookie in a separate box. So that way it wasn't near our sons who has an allergy. Long story short. The guy told me if he did that. Cookies! With such a big selection of flavors, we decided to go with a 6 pack to bring home. I chose 3 and my husband chose 3. They brought the box out and off we went. We took a drive up to Lake Pleasant, then drive back down to Phoenix for dinner before heading home. It wasn't until we got home that we opened the box and looked at the cookies. I knew immediately that it wasn't quite right because the first cookie I ordered was the Crinkle and there was clearly no Crinkle in the box. I was disappointed. I can't speak to the regular cookies but I have had their Gluten Free Cookie multiple times and it is delicious! The base is a sugar cookie and then you choose your icing and drizzle flavors. I usually go for the Lemon Raspberry, it's pretty legit. I very much appreciate that there are multiple flavors for the Gluten Free peeps and that the cookie is actually good. My friend is allergic to gluten and eggs and they also had a Gluten Free Vegan cookie!! Stopped in today after hearing about how great the cookies are and that they have Dole Whips. They did not disappoint. I decided to have a cookie and dole whip as my birthday lunch . The cookie I opted for was the Lemon Tart and I got a Mango Dole Whip. My husband opted for the Caramel Sugar cookie and an Orange Dole Whip. We both tried it all and it was great. They do offer half dozen and dozen deals for the cookies which comes out better priced than if you go singles. But since we just wanted one each we opted for singles. I wish I had a Twisted Sugar closer to me, but wow, these cookies are worth driving all over for! I love the lemon blueberry cookie (the May monthly cookie), the birthday cake cookie, the cookie butter oatmeal cookie, and the plain chocolate chip! There are also amazing gluten free options that doesn't feel like it's a gluten free cookie. To top it all off, there are some fun soda options and the workers are more than willing to recommend their favorites and most popular flavors if you get overwhelmed. The workers were cheery and very enthusiastic; you can tell that they love their job. They were all amazing , I was hesitant on the birthday cake flavor but it was so good , had white chocolate chips in it so good! But my two favorite was the peanut butter simple but well done and sugar doodle ! My husband isn't a big fan of crumbl but to my surprise he loved them and said he couldn't wait to go back.
