The chocolate was not even brown all around. It was white in spots. If I go to Cold Stone, I go to another location and never have this issue. Doesn't seem like the old waffle bowls/cones are being thrown out if no one buys them because the staff/workers don't want to have to make more each day. Very disappointed. Overall a very good milkshake served by a friendly and pleasant staff. The only complaint I have is cost. The same "love it" milkshake I paid $8.99 for would cost $5.69 in Provo. The owner must have high overhead. I prefer the new Handels which is a few blocks away. The milkshakes there are just as good and they are cheaper. Cold Stone Creamery has a base of about 8 solid flavors including rich chocolate, mint, sweet cream, peanut butter, coffee, vanilla, strawberry etc. These vase flavors are exceptionally made; when I say exceptional I mean they stand alone as amazing quality ice cream. Once you select your base flavor you then select whatever mix ins you desire. As a woman my mood changes and my mix ins do as well haha . Some days I like chocolate with chocolate chips and fudge and other days I want sweet cream with berries and Heath, or maybe mint with Oreos or graham crackers. Whatever cravings you have Cold Stones for you covered. The store itself is clean, small, efficient and has what you desire for a wonderful tasty treat. The staff are very friendly, competent and quickly get the ice cream mixed up and ready to go. The only negative I have is that the ice cream is pretty pricey. I suppose it's high quality and they have to account for the product they put out plus the staff that makes the delicious creations, so maybe the cost is reasonable; though reasonable or not it is so yummy that it doesn't matter. If you don't have time or need more than just a cone grab a to go quart or an ice cream cake, I'm sure they are perfect for an event or a late night indulgence. I ordered two packs of the ice cream cupcakes online. My husband picked them up, so he didn't really look at them or know what to expect. When he brought them home and I opened them it looked like they were leftover from Christmas. The 6 pack is supposed to have 2 that are pink frosted with rainbow sprinkles. Well, one of the 6 packs had two bright pink frosted with red and green sprinkles and the other 6 pack included two red frosted with red and green sprinkles. Not like the description online or like the picture. Was a little disappointed since this was for a birthday party and looked a little weird with pink and Christmas colored cupcakes. This location was clean, welcoming, and cozy. I chose a "Like It" of the Founders Favorite in a waffle cone and the Future Hubby got a "Love It" of Mint Chocolate Chip in a cup. When we approached the register to check in he showed the shift leader the offer and she said at this particular franchise they don't accept any coupons unless they are directly mailed out from them. We tried to explain the concept but she said that if she honored it she'd "get in big trouble" with her boss. Since it was only 10% percent we didn't make a fuss and went ahead and purchased our desserts. When I took a bite out of my ice cream cone it was so stale! I wish i could've given a better review and what i rated was just because i love ice cream! First off as we entered on Sunday night and not one person even greeted us. The employee Taytum that started to help was very rude and didn't even try to show us at least a smile. When it was finally time to pay she just said "sign here." We've been to several different locations. My daughter has a peanut allergy and usually they use ice cream from the back to avoid contamination. They make our orders in a clean bowl rather than on the counter and are pleasant. But here, we were told that they could not do this. Apparently the only ice cream they have is in the containers up front. So we left without our three orders. I won't force you to take my money, but with this kind of service II'm happy to take it elsewhere. read more

Ordered a mint chocolate "LOVE IT" size and the lady ordered a Founders Favorite waffle cone. All well until we got to the cashier who told us they don't accept any coupons at all unless they are sent from them directly. She said if she honored the redemption her boss would be very upset at her. Needless to say, I paid for my order as it wasn't completely her fault as these were orders sent from above, but very disappointing end to what I thought would be would be a great visit. The manager working right now at 4:32 PM was so rude to me! I asked for 2 different flavors side by side and to have pecans mixed in one flavor and Reese's in the other and I got the most attitude! At my location, I do these kinds of orders all of the time. The manager told me my order would take too long to make? Excellent ice cream. The varieties of flavors are unique and there are plenty to choose from. We usually take the ice cream to go and put the waffle bowls in a separate bag. The waffle bowls are always fresh. We've been to other ice cream establishments where the waffle bowls were stale or chewy. The parking at this location can be difficult on the weekends. This just wasn't planned well. But that's not the fault of Cold Stone. There always seems to be a few people inside but the line moves along pretty quick. The price is a little high but it's worth it. I highly recommend this ice cream. Best ice cream in the valley!! read more
