I recently made the drive all the way from South Phoenix to Peoria just to check out Cinnabun Swirl, the only one around and let me tell you, it was so worth it! After about an hour on the road, I pulled up and couldn't believe a place like this actually existed. Being from Orange County, CA, this is exactly the kind of spot we always wished we had back home. The associate working that day was incredibly friendly and patient while we tried to figure out what to order (we were definitely taking our time!). We finally decided on the Bonini, and OMG... I was mesmerized watching her make it total drool moment. It was every bit as amazing as it looked. Then we grabbed a Vanilla Sundae with Cinnamon Carvel Crunchies. I don't think I've ever had Carvel before, but wow, that was some of the smoothest ice cream I've ever tasted. Creamy, flavorful, and that cinnamon crunch? Unreal. Of course, I couldn't leave without taking home a half dozen buns for later which was the best decision ever. The store itself is spotless, the staff is super friendly, and the vibe just feels happy. Cinnabun Swirl is an absolute gem. I just wish they'd open one closer to South Phoenix because I'd be there every week! 10/10 everyone needs to experience this place at least once. read more

A Match Made in Dessert Heaven! If you're anywhere near four corners in Peoria, do yourself a favor and stop by Cinnabon Swirl--this place is a hidden gem that takes indulgence to the next level. I had no idea how badly I needed Cinnabon + soft serve in my life until now! The classic Cinnabon flavor we all know and love with creamy soft serve for a treat that's downright magical. We were having a ladies outing after having lunch and wanted some dessert. I knew this place opened up not that far from the area we were at is deeper in Peoria so we did have to drive about 30 minutes to the location.. We all ordered the regular cinnamon buns the large, which cost about seven dollars a person and if you would like the little mini buns with some ice cream, the cost of it was seven or eight dollars. They rewards app is completely different than the regular cinnamon bun app so you have to download the cinnamon bun swirl app in order to earn rewards. The one suggestion that I do have is to be able to key and your phone number at the time of purchase to have the rewards added, instead of scanning the receipt yourself, which you may forget.. Also, our cinnamon rolls was good, but it definitely needed more frosting compared to when we receive them inside of the mall. We always wanted a location outside of the mall and wish they were open more locations around the valley so we can enjoy the delicious cinnamon rolls . read more

I stopped by Cinnabon Swirl and tried the Oreo Blue Blast Ice Cream Sandwich. It looked awesome, but overall the experience was kind of mixed. The cookies were a little too hard, but they still had good flavor. The Blue Blast ice cream wasn't what I expected; it actually tasted a lot like Fruit Loops. Not bad, just not really what I was going for. I also had a few bites of the Cinnabon Sundae, and that was on a whole different level. Super sweet and ridiculously good. I honestly think if I had the whole thing, I'd end up in a full-on food coma. The staff was friendly and quick, and even though the ice cream sandwich wasn't totally my thing, I'd definitely go back just for that sundae. read more

Very interesting concept between Cinnabon and Carvel Ice Cream. Nicely done on Cinnabon Swirl with Vanilla Ice Cream and Carmel Sauce. Waffle Cone with Vanilla Ice Cream was excellent as well. The location is very clean, well organized and merchandised to perfection. Customer Service was excellent and very accommodating and appreciated. Loved their Marketing Concept-See Attached Photos. Staff was beyond words kind and kept the store clean. Everything was clean and up kept in the restaurant. For the sundae I did strawberry ice cream and chocolate drizzle. I figured I'd try something out of my norm. It wasn't bad. The Cinnabon roll was a 1000 times better than those I've had in truck stops. It reminded me of the old Cinnabon you'd get in the malls growing up. So it was nice to get a slice of childhood. If you've ever thought to yourself, "I wish I could marry a cinnamon roll and have ice cream as the maid of honor," congratulations, Cinnabon Swirl just made your weird little dream come true. We popped in on a warm afternoon, driven by a craving for something sweet and a little sinful, and Cinnabon Swirl did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the scent alone could have convinced me to sign a lease. The shop was spotless (like, eat-a-scoop-off-the-floor clean), and the service was super friendly and fast. No one was stingy with the smiles or the soft serve. I ordered the Cinnabon Sundae and I'm honestly still thinking about it. Warm, gooey cinnamon roll on the bottom, vanilla soft serve piled high, drizzled with cinnamon syrup, it was like if a dessert hugged me and told me everything was going to be okay. My daughters went full joy-mode: one got a black and white Oreo shake that looked like it was made by dessert angels, and the other had a simple soft serve cone, classic and perfect. Both were grinning the entire time like they'd just found out summer vacation was extended. The shop has both indoor and outdoor seating, so whether you're into A/C or sunshine, they've got you covered. Plus, the location is super convenient, great for a quick sugar fix or a post-dinner treat. In short: clean shop, kind staff, ridiculously delicious ice cream, and cinnamon rolls that taste like they were baked with love and a touch of wizardry. We'll absolutely be back, probably too often. It was good, but a little underwhelming. The staff were very friendly and patient. The atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. One issue inside is there is not a lot of seating and not a lot of options for a larger group. The Traditional Cinnabon was a little dry and did not have nearly enough frosting, in my opinion. The blue moon soft serve (trix cereal flavor) was a miss for everyone, just had an artificial flavor to it. The strawberry soft serve, to us, tasted like laffy taffy, and none of us really cared for it either. The Cinnabon Swirl Sundae had a delicious vanilla soft serve on top. The vanilla soft serve actually tasted like vanilla which was nice. The Cinnabon center prices were a little tough which was disappointing. Overall, it was just okay. That was by far the most underwhelming dessert I've had in the past year and i was so looking forward to this because growing up we always loved Cinnabon. I honestly do not think that weather it's a Cinnabon ice cream Sandwich or as a sundae would make any major difference. The sundae was what both my mom sister and I had today and the "center of the roll" was giving off days old dry chunks of cinnamon roll with no frosting but boring soft serve ice cream. With caramel that leaves little to the imagination. Would rather have any other caramel over this one. The service was fine. Liked the fact they separated the ice cream and "center of the roll" since i had to eat it in the car (with one of my sleeping kids) out front while my mom, sister and all the kids ate in the patio. Definitely would stick to the plain cinnamon rolls here on out and maybe just stay away from this location all together since everything wasn't memorable. read more

Cinnabon Swirl is a combination of Cinnabon and Carvel ice cream. Unfortunately, this mix up isn't so tasty. I tried out a sundae which has Cinnabon bread chunks at the bottom topped with one of their 4 flavors of ice cream. I got the chocolate flavor and I must say that the bread itself was stale and the ice cream didn't mix well in the Cinnabon. Both my crony and I felt like this would've been better if we ate these separately. They have take home pints at good prices which cost $7.71. Unfortunate that you can't get a mix of two flavors and there's only one of 4 flavors to choose from. I got the triple chocolate and it wasn't good; the chocolate chips inside were lacking any real chocolate flavor and detracted from the taste. read more

Such a great experience! We came to Cinnabon in Peoria for a unique dessert experience. The Cinnabon paired with ice cream is SO good! We shared a blue moon sundae and were surprised that blue moon was orange flavored. The orange, however, paired with the cinnamon very well and it was absolutely delicious! Overall this was a great end to our date night and we really enjoyed the cinnamon roll dessert selection! The service was great and the 2 ladies working were super sweet and helpful! read more

I came here shortly after they opened and it was insanely busy! There was hardly any seating and there was a very long line. No issues with the service and we received our order in a timely manner. We ordered a classic roll and a Cinnabon swirl sundae. I'm used to getting gooey and delicious Cinnabon rolls from the mall and this cinnamon roll was very dry. Hardly had a gooey center but the soft serve was your classic soft serve. Some are on the thicker/richer side but this was on the lighter/softer side. I was just so underwhelmed with the cinnamon roll. That is not the Cinnabon I've come to love. I was so hyped to try this place and I'm not sure if it was just insanely busy so maybe they prebaked a lot? Not sure. I plan to wait a while before revisiting to give it another chance to see if I have the same experience. This place is brand new and looks cute inside and I like the inside/outdoor seating they offer. I did not try the cookie sandwich. read more

Walked in and noticed how perfect this place looked. Had that "just opened" smell to it too, which smelled like fresh cinnamon rolls. Justin helped me out. He was quick and had my cinnamon rolls Sunday ready in just a few minutes. Super nice guy and super helpful! The ice cream was up there with the best I've had throughout the valley. It was super creamy and had an awesome flavor. The cinnamon to was great, as Cinnabon usually is. My only complaint about the roll was the ice cream kinda makes it a little hard, which isn't a big deal. Just don't expect the whole roll to be ooey gooey; just some of the roll! Overall Cinnabon swirl is great and it's a place I'll be coming back to! read more

Service and staff were good. The Bonini was prefrozen, hard and dry. They don't use the soft and gooey rolls seen on the counter. The Cinnabon Swirl Sundae was the same. Cinnabon bits were tough and chewy. If I go back I would order the ice cream or rolls separately. Very disappointed. read more

I have been to this location probably 5 times now and 4 out of he 5 times the rolls have been over cooked so much that you can't cut through them. Cinnamon rolls are my treat of choice and I was so excited when this opened near by. But I will stop wasting my money here. So disappointed. read more

I love Cinnabon so was super happy to see one open so close to my house. I went today a little after 4. There were two customers enjoying their desserts at a table and three employees behind the counter. I headed to the register to order and the employees just stared at me. One was on his phone. It was awkward so I said I just wanted two cinnamon rolls to go. With extra frosting. One employee rang me up and the other served the rolls. I felt like I had done it wrong. No smiles. No friendly greeting. No acknowledgment at all. I wish that I could say the product was so good that it was worth the lack of customer service. But when I ate my roll tonight I was incredibly disappointed. It was super dry and had a weird taste to it. I couldn't finish it because it was so off tasting. I've eaten so many Cinnabon cinnamon rolls I know exactly how they taste...and these don't even come close. I wouldn't recommend this location at all, sadly. read more

We got the Cinnabon ice cream sundae with caramel and the Cinnabon ice cream sandwich. We ended up sharing the sundae because it was so big and very rich. We brought the ice cream sandwich home for the next day! Both were delicious! Customer service was awesome, we were greeted right away and everyone was super nice. It was a nice treat. They do need more tables or chairs for people to sit inside. read more

Came for the first time and it definitely exceeded expectations! I was expecting more of an ice cream only type set up but was pleasantly surprised that you can also get Cinnabons! So exciting! The atmosphere was great and although busy, the staff did a great job working efficiently through the line to keep things moving. There is ample seating both inside and out as well. Honestly meh. I was so excited to try the Bonini (Cinnabon ice cream sandwich), but when I ordered it, it was already premade, they put it on the press to warm it up and that was it. No frosting drizzle and the bun was warm but somehow stale?? For all the hype I was really hoping for more. Adding that it wasn't busy and I was the only one in line, so it wasn't a "too busy" issue. read more

Despite the collection of flavors we seemed to annoy them and "put them out" asking to try some of the flavors. The truly disappointing part was the lack of generosity of the scoops. It is $4.50 for a single scoop and it is just that a scoop. One slide of the spoon and what ever fills the bowl of the spoon is what you get. So each scoop was a touch bigger than a golf ball. At the End of the Day, I don't like comparing but I'm used to the Valleys selection of Handels franchises where they are generous with their scoops (they brag about it) and generous with their customer service and friendliness. No need to come back with better offerings near by!
