Great service and ambience, tasty desserts. We love the blizzards, especially the strawberry cheesecake one. Can't recommend it enough.

Usually come here for blizzards, which are are always great. Today I came for the banana split and it was disappointing. I get that prices are up due to inflation, but maybe DQ should add the price of peanuts, which is an extra cost now, to the banana split menu item. The ice cream is too much and the flavor toppings were not equal. Ill stick to blizzards and get the OG banana split from Baskin Robins. read more

Why do they take grubhub and uber eats orders first with a line around the building? They don't take orders from the Dairy Queen app. This seem wrong to take internet orders for a 3rd party app and not the corporate app read more

We ordered vanilla sundaes. The ice cream was delicious, the strawberry & caramel topping were fresh tasting and yummy too. As usual, the staff is welcoming and efficient. 2 party limit capacity inside to place your order. Upon our arrival, there was no wait. By the time we left, there was a big line outside. read more

Always get all our birthday Oreo cookie cake here. Everyone loves it and looks forward to it.

If I could rate a zero I would. I usually go to this one near my house, but today I was disappointed at the owner's, lady working the front, customer service. I usually don't write reviews, but I did not appreciate how she was talking to my little sister about the deal on the blizzards and then later arguing with me on what toppings they never had, which I frequently order/ listed in the app almost as if I was lying about it, especially how I was not upset but calmly asked what they did have. I did not appreciate the dismissive attitude and glares received to the point where I had to walk out of this establishment. Definitely will not be coming back! read more

The frosted animal cookie blizzard is really good! The service was fast and nice as well. Would recommend stopping by for a quick treat.

Tried the pretzel sticks with cheese. There is no way that is cheese!!! It was cold and did not taste like cheese at all! It was thick and chunky. But the pretzel sticks and coke were good. read more

Yumm, love the Strawberry shortcake and Oreo Ice cream one. I used come here often when I lived in Cypress. We stopped here today for some DQ since we were in the area, and the weather was good. Nice spot to kick in the cool area. Friendly workers here. Always a pleasure to visit. read more

Probably one of the worst customer service experiences had. No communication to us... not a hello ill be with you in a second after waiting 20min because she was ringing up like 20 gift cards so understand it took time other girl made a couple drinks for I guess pick ups and for the person buying the gift cards. Transaction finished.. the one that finished ringing up the order just started doing paperwork without a word to any of us in line. 2nd worker than took the order of some lady who JUST WALKED IN but was up front looking at the menu. If you didn't see the line of customers waiting and knew that lady was not the next in line... good luck on your final destination because I doubt you'll succeed anywhere. And the other worker... here's a tip.. when people have been waiting for a long time.. simple communication and customer service goes a loooong way. This is probably why the Brusters next door was so busy. With so many ice cream places I can probably say I will never return here or a dairy queen. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE!! FAIL ON ALL ACCOUNTS. Could have overlooked alot with simple customer service. read more

Menus are supposed to have icons or keywords indicating if there are any allergens in the item. I specifically ordered "caramel brownie sundae", thinking it was just ice cream, caramel, and brownie bits. When i got my order there were almonds in it, which is not what i asked for. When i asked the worker why there were nuts on it she said "You ordered the heath caramel brownie sundae" but i never said heath. She didnt confirm my order to ask if i meant that either. This is horrible and has ruined my perception of this Dairy Queen. read more

Oh boy, what an awful experience! Went tonight just because in the window they are advertising the s'mores blizzard. Dark hair, tall cashier with super rude attitude tells me that they ran out, I asked if they will have it again tomorrow and she said that the advertisement is old and they won't have more until next year. I decided to get a different flavor, she goes to the refrigerator and pulls a cup of what it looks like an old ice cream, mixes it with ice cream from the machine then gives it to me. I asked what was in the cup she poured into my Blizzard and she responded that it was a blizzard someone did not want earlier....the cup was not even covered, I am not sure how long that cup was in the fridge. Terrible service, not coming to this location again. read more

Forgot to order a cake at least 2 days in advance but this DQ saved the day!! After making some calls with no luck they said they had a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup blizzard cake available! This place lacks customer service skills as well as friendliness. I ordered a combo chicken meal and almost paid $10 and it didn't even come with a drink. The chicken was hard and not tasty at all. I should have known this might not be the place to go after seeing 2 people inside and 1 in the drive thru smack dead at the lunch time hour. Won't be coming back here but willing to try another location. read more

The ice cream is good, but the store itself is stuffy and hot and they don't give you any napkins.

Always a good spot, but they need to keep items in stock, the summertime misty slushy they are out of and the one girl that served us clearly knows nothing about customer service or really wanted to be there..if you don't like interacting with customers find a different job read more

Small little Dairy Queen, but very modern inside and Ioved the protective barriers in front of the registers. We were greeted and assisted immediately. Our items were ready within minutes. Tuesday, 1/9/24, at around 4:30 I walked in to order a Oreo blizzard after a long day of work and the older lady who took my order was just absolutely rude. She was tall, old and I usually see her working there and she always has an off attitude but on Tuesday it was just unacceptable. She was giving me a dirty look when I changed my order from a snickers blizzard to an Oreo blizzard. Her tone was unwelcoming. Luckily the teenager who made and gave me my blizzard was absolutely charming. Her customer service was great. Before talking to her I would've given a 1 star from the first employee I encountered but after talking to the nice young lady I raised it to a three star. read more

If i could give this shop a zero i would. The chicks behind the counter were probably had the worst resting bitch faces i have ever seen. I dont think they wore nametags and if they were i would have called each of them out individually. Upon our arrival all three chicks were sitting at the tables on there phones and staring us down when we were parking our car. When my group ordered, the cashier was snarky and did not give a rats ass about the way people presieve her customer service. Regardless of how depressed and boring your life may be, you work in a job that requires you to have a pleasent tone of voice. Maybe the staff should suck it up for their 5 hour shift and try to be appealing. They also wispered to eachother while we were ordering. On top of all this they got all of the blizzards wrong. This shop should put up a help wanted sign because these employees suck. How many bad reviews till the management does something. The three chicks who worked at 9:30 on august 30th have to put in there 2 weeks notice or be fired. read more

So friendly and clean! Kudos to the staff, management, and owners. Thank you, for a great experience!

Ok, I give.... I did go to DQ and it is always good.... Usually a line outside.... Why? Because it is good..,, Always! Many people want a DQ in their neighborhood.... but they don't have one.... So Cypress is lucky so everyone quit complaining.... I'm not, my wife's not, my kids aren't and my grandkids aren't.... Why? Because it is always good... You have to go a long way to screw up ice cream... So when you feel like complaining about this DQ.... Don't! Whenever a business is busy it's because it is good.... YOU just came at a busy time like after a school function or game.... That is Cypress!! Love Cypress and Love Dairy Queen cuz we have one and it is close by! Btw, I had a Chocolate Malt and my wife had a Banana Split Blizzard... and did I say it was good? No, not until now because it was!!! I hope you found this humorous.... read more

How can you not love Dairy Queen? I mean, I guess the price could be on the higher side, but you gotta love that creamy, delicious, soft serve ice cream!! This particular location is always crowded..but it's because space is tight and groups of people come in at once. The best thing about them is that they are FAST. They take your order, and before you know it, your order is ready to eat!! Love their ice cream cakes, too. I will never order a birthday cake from Baskin Robins EVER again! I also recently noticed the Julius Cesar half of this store.. Idk if it was always there, but I just noticed it last night. I tried the mango pineapple premium smoothie, and it was delicious! Thanks, Michael! read more

Considering that this is an old school Dairy Queen, I was surprised at service and taste. In other words, the service and taste doesn't match the terrible 90's aesthetic of this ice cream shop. I ordered a small Oreo cheesecake blizzard and the guy taking our order kept a full on smile on his face as if it was Disneyland. What's more, after paying and waiting for my blizzard, my Oreo cheesecake blizzard order was finished super timely within 1-2 minutes. As I went to go to the counter to get it, the guy turned my blizzard completely upside down and the blizzard inside the cup stayed put! Amazing. They got magic tricks. My blizzard was tasty, sweet, and full of creamy cold fluff with crunchy Oreo pieces and little squares of cheesecakes. Like I said, the aesthetic of the place sucks. It's so 90's and crusty. But service was cool and taste was there. read more

This golden gem of a place reminds me of the good ol' days when we complained about how things would be easier when we grew up and walking all over town wasn't a choice to get where you needed to be. Located in the center of this sleepy all American town, this small, glass container of emotion and frozen treats definitely falls in place with Dairy Queen's slogan, "Not fast food, FAN food". Though I never frequent this delicious bovine delight, I frequently find myself drawn towards it whenever dessert is on my mind and Cypress is in my heart. The customers who frequent this are the same familiar faces you expect to see on television shows like "Friday Night Lights" or "Gilmore Girls". They're locals, with a mix of friends who are brought to enjoy the nuances of this particular dessert shack. And though celebrities might never show up, with the quick service and clean environment, you'll feel like a thousand bucks as you gossip over the latest drama at work or crush at home. With Top 40s beats playing overhead and a chilled space around you, it's hard not to get caught up in the frozen aura of this simple dessert shop. All the usual suspects are there: Blizzards, hand dipped cones, ice cream shakes. All good things to end a hot summer's day or to start one. And if you get a chance to, take a look at the secret menu they have online such as the Jack & Jill Sundae or Peanut Buster Parfait. Once you realize they have a secret menu, the game is flipped on its head! All in all, there are plenty of places to go for desserts: Yogurtland, Pinkberry, gelato. You name it and there are more cold treats available now than ever. But if you ever want a place that tickles the nostalgia and brings out your inner teenager, come down to this Cypress Dairy Queen and enjoy the younger you once more. read more

Worst customer service and blizzard ever. I paid for extra chocolate in my chocolate covered cherry blizzard. When I received it, it was super rainy, but I didn't complain about that. I told him I could not to use the chocolate. The woman behind the counter told me and she put extra chocolate in it. I told her that I could not taste it and asked if I could purchase more chocolate. They were very rude to me and completely and obliging. If I could give half a star, I would because that's all they deserve at this location. read more

So this was my first time going to Diary Queen. I understand that it's one of the oldest fast food chain around and they have bunch of stores everywhere. But I never had the desire to go since I'm not too crazy for ice cream. Today I took my girlfriend to the dentist. While she was getting her teeth cleaned I decided to give this place a try. I got in line and I saw 2 people in front of me ordering blizzard. The lady brings their order to them, and flipped it upside down like "Look! It's not falling out! Wow!". The customers were so pleased and amused. I was not impressed. I ordered the plain vanilla cone dipped in chocolate. Cool thing about this is that the chocolate hardens in few seconds and turns into shell. The ice cream tasted good and the chocolate was a great match. I recommend eating the ice cream inside the shell first, then eating the chocolate shell after that. For my first time I wasn't disappointed. Customer service was good too. I don't mind coming back but I'll probably just take my time discovering other ice cream place instead. It's a big fast food chain so I'll encounter it somewhere no matter what. read more

The older lady there who's worked there for awhile has by far the worst customer service skills ever. She misheard my order, which is totally fine but when I came back to get it fixed she proceeded to tell me how it wasn't her fault. I told her that I'm sure it was a miscommunication and she then went and brought the receipt to me and starting putting her finger in my face telling my mom and I how we're wrong and it's our fault. Then when I just asked to get a new one and we'd leave she then gets me a small when I ordered a large and at that point we just left. She has multiple bad reviews and I've seen people argue with her before. read more

I remember going to this DQ location in my childhood. I like their blizzards and I think they also have milkshakes (it's been awhile though). Anyways, around the mid 2000's they used to do character cakes (not sure if they still do right now), but in 1st Grade I got a Barney cake & in 2nd Grade was Lilo & Stitch. I loved ice cream cake & last year before Thanksgiving, I got ice cream cake for my sister's birthday. The service was great, thanks DQ! Ahh Dairy Queen. Been taking the kids over the last few weeks for weekend treats. What can I say. The Blizzards are great. They have a mini size for about $2. Perfect size. Not too much, but enough to satisfy the palate. My son loves the Chocolate dipped cones. This location is pretty clean. And, the folks working here are pretty nice. As it gets warmer, will have to eat more salads during the week so we can splurge at the DQ. read more
