We came to this juice shop in Buena Park because I searched it was the closest to our hotel we were staying at. We are not from around here. The service we received here from Server: Joshuary P. (Name on receipt) was excellent. She gave great service, and efficiently made our order and even drew little ghosts on our drinks which made it so festive as it was Halloween. I had their protein acai bowl and large evergreen smoothie. Both were out of this world! Their protein acai bowl had just the right amount of peanut butter, as most places either give too much or too little. My bf had their strawberry horchata and vital proteins bowl (it was blue colored) and he said it was really good too! Afterwards we went to the Homegoods next door which was also so cool. Service was HORRIBLE . Greed is filled in the açai bowls. The girls were wearing pajamas to work , it must have been pajama day. They charge for the extra that is made out of your bowls ( $1.50 ) & blamed the manager for it . Worst part is when i walked out to take a picture of the restaurant for my review i saw her dump the entire thing out . What would have hurt her to give me what i paid for $10.99? Little girl needs to experience more of life to know the value of food that is being PAID FOR , lazy girl didnt even know where the 'button' was at in the machine to charge for The Extra . I will be taking my business elsewhere. Fyi, this açai bowl was given away to someone else that can indulge on it since i left with a bitter taste of this biz. read more

First time going and it was a good experience. I ordered the detoxifier and it was very tasty. My daughter ordered the strawberry wave bowl and she finished it. She doesn't usually finish her food but this time she did. I would definitely go back & try their other drinks. Unfortunately, there was only one worker that time (10:30am) and customers started coming in. She was very efficient and friendly despite being alone. I had Juice It Up! at another location, their Açaí berry smoothie was really good so I craved it for the longest time but when I came to this location on spring st in Long Beach it just wasn't the same. Service was a bit slow I think they were new so i understand but also 2 guys that came in after me who I saw place their order at the counter received their drinks before me and keep in mind I had already been waiting about 10 minutes before they walked in, I was not in a rush so it was fine but I don't think it's fair to put some before others. I had just gotten surgery & I really needed a "cleanse". I specifically came here for the detoxifier. It is a bit pricey but considering how expensive everything is nowadays, I guess I'm not too shocked. I ordered mine without the ginger because it greatly improves the taste without it. Bad experience at this location. It's dark in there and always dirty, trash on the ground and the seats. I ordered online today 12/14 while shopping next door and time said 20 minutes. Which is fine but I arrived earlier than that, there's nobody in the store. I sat down and just waited, girl asked me if I'm ready to order and I replied i just ordered online. She asks if I just put the order in a few minutes ago to which I reply Yes, she said Well You have to wait. I reply that's fine. I understand, thinking she has many other orders to fill, I am fine with waiting. To my surprise, the girl just starts texting on her phone. Sicily and Regan were my servers here and they were amazing! I came in looking for a drink for my daughter and they helped guide me through a customized drink that fit her pallette. She's a 2 yr old so it was tough to find a premade drink that fits what she likes. They also were very accommodating to my request because there was a peanut butter protein coffee drink that I liked but I couldn't drink more coffee that day, so they adjusted it to remove the coffee and it tasted almost the same. The place is small but it's very clean and has just the right amount of room for the amount of people that come through. Will definitely come again! read more

You can always add more for an additional cost. An acai bowl needs granola, so I like getting the Hemp Plus Granola, plus lots of fruits like strawberries, blueberries, and pineapples. They also have a limited time bowl, the Paçoca Acai Bowl. It has Layered Coconut and Sambazon Açaí base topped with Hemp Plus Granola, Banana, Coconut Flakes, and Paçoca. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the Paçoca, a sweet Brazilian peanut crumble, at first, but I ended up really enjoying it! I also tried the Vital Proteins Blue Smoothie. It's not bad, but it wasn't my favorite. I'd prefer to get an acai bowl instead!

The Jalapeño Cheese Potato Ball was perfectly crispy and flavorful, the fresh plantain chips were addictive, and the Mango Mousse Cake was light, refreshing, and beautifully made. Every pastry we tried was fresh, high quality, and looked as amazing as it tasted. The drinks were also excellent. One thing that really stood out was watching so many customers leave with large boxes of Porto's famous cheese rolls and guava strudels to take home for family and friends--that says a lot about how loved this bakery is. As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of options available. I had no trouble finding delicious food and desserts. If you're a meat lover, you'll have even more choices and probably be in heaven! Porto's offers incredible quality at very reasonable prices, making it an easy recommendation for anyone visiting Disneyland or the Buena Park area.
