I made and had my reservation confirmed last week for my Brunch/Daytime bday party celebration. Most of my party arrived together 5 mins til the time. When I first walked in I had to locate someone to be seated. Ok not the worse. It took 30 minutes to get a waitress. It took 45 minutes to get our drinks and over a hour to get food we ordered. They didn't come bring my tower until a hour and 15 minutes later. I guess the waitress was getting annoyed bc she couldn't hide her facial expressions . I said something a couple of times bc 3 other tables were consistently bring checked on yet we was not. We also only had 2 bottle girls when the other tables had 4 and 5. For my first time being there and celebrating my bday, I was left very disappointed especially after my table paid over $600 for very whack and disappointing service . I should have read the reviews bc this was not it, I don't recommend celebrating an occasion here and when you come you better bring your patience and don't show up ready for apps and drinks upon arrival. We were not attended to for no where near 18% gratuity but we just paid whatever they asked for n knew we won't be back. The only reason they got a 1 star is bc that's the least you can give and the dj was lit and a whole vibe . But he was the only good n best part. Very disappointed that they ruin my bday celebration. Beware*** Went there for the first time 4-7-23, after paying $80 for 4 watered down drinks, I asked the young lady why the bill was so high she could not answer, she was dancing around the fact that I was charged almost $25 gratuity. Came here for the 1st time this past Sunday. I don't normally complain but it took almost an hour to get my food. I ordered the Cajun Pasta with chicken and andouille sausage. 1 of the girls I came with ordered chicken and waffles and got her food before mine... I asked the waitress how come her's came out before mine and her response was "oh cause it's you ordered the pasta" what?!! Another girl ordered fried chicken and it almost took an hour for her food. We had to waive the waitress down every time we needed something. Just be prepared to wait a while for your food. TERRIBLE customer service! Literally watched the waiter avoid our table the whole entire night. We never got a chance to order a thing. The only reason we stayed is because we were with a group. My mom had to order us water and place an order for us some fries when the waiter brought the fries out my mom pointed to our table she wouldn't even look at us just say the fries down and left. I hate the fact that I made a large party reservation early in the week for Sunday at 3:30 and when I got there they told me it was a 30 min wait. They didn't try to accommodate me at all.. The food was very good no complaints about the quality. But for the price I'm expecting more from the presentation and service side. Maybe it's a brunch thing, but for the price I imagine they can afford to pay a dishwasher. My biggest complaint is about the 18% gratuity that's automatically added in. If your server knows that they're getting above average tips off the rip, there's no incentive to provide above average service. Appetizers arrived an hour and half later and when the food made it to the table the grits was cold, rice cold and Etoufee was microwaved. Service was subpar. Yes we spoke to the manager and owner. We had to track our the waitress down after thirty minutes of waiting to even place an order. Once we were able to get food we only got one plate and then they never brought the rest out. I was able to talk to the owner of the place and he said that once I have my own restaurant then my opinion on the establishment will matter. I went to Daiqs for a birthday brunch celebration and first off let me start by saying the atmosphere is great as far as casual and great music from the dj's, but the service was slow. I came a little later than the rest of the guest of the party and when I ordered it took over an hour for my food not including others who ordered before me food took longer. I happened to stop my waiter to ask about my food and she told me the kitchen is backed up but if it wasn't for me stopping her we would've not known about the delay. Not to mention they have a secret menu that they don't mention even after you ask them about an item on the menu they keep the information brief. Smh I ordered a sausage & shrimp omelet which was good overall but it had no sausage in it. When it came to them clearing the table off as we would finish drinks & food it was a matter of having to stop the guy to ask him to take some stuff off the table. We got a hookah and the coal gave out so quickly even with only a few people using it. If I was to come back I would only come back for drinks. read more
