Their Happy Hour special drew us in!! 1 meat, 1 side for $15... A solid offer! I went with the tri-tip/green beans w/hot sauce and my Dad, the ribs/potato salad w/ medium sauce. The food was excellent with a decent portion of meat (8-10oz) and sides (4oz.). The hot sauce was delicious, could have been hotter in my opinion but I get it, for most the medium sauce is fine. The decor was pretty sparse, modern, and dark. Lots of tables for 2 and only five 4 seaters. The service was very friendly and Pops and I had a great lunch! The special is where it's at, $15 is great bang for your buck because if it's the same portion size at $25 during off hours then thats a little much. read more

Hot links smooth and hot on the back end. Ribbon tips are tender and flavored. BBQ sauce is medium and has a kick. Mac and cheese is on point. Not oversalted.overrated. Beans are sugary but balanced with a little heat. Sweet Tea is on point not overly sweet.. Cornbread nice and hot. With hot honey it would be on fire. My personal choice. Overall, I get the restaurant 5 out of 5. Is a new spot? They try new things and as they grow, they will adjust to meet the menu likes of their community. Went yesterday afternoon. There were only a few people inside. Ordered online and was surprised to see very limited menu. I ordered the $30 chicken meal that came with 2 sides and a refreshing berry drink. For the 2 sides, I chose beans and Mac & cheese. Total charge came up to $40 including tax and tip but the meal was good for 2 people so $20 per person is reasonable. The food - Chicken BBQ was delicious! So flavorful and a bit sweet, which I love! Beans were the best part! I wish I got two sides of beans because it's so yummy! Sweet alright, but that's how I like it! Mac & cheese was forgettable. Place is a bit dark but clean. I regularly go to Safeway and food prices are unbelievable at this time, so I'm not bothered by their meal prices. It's not cheap to run a restaurant, people. Labor, ingredients, rent, utilities, and taxes are through the roof! It's always tough to run a restaurant. Can't wait to be back! Yum!! read more

I am excited for a new bbq spot. The restaurant is very clean and staff was friendly. The first thing I noticed was the steep prices. Since I was there I figured I would try them out because I was not sure the portion size. I ordered the 2- 2 meat combo plates. I had ribs and tri-tip. I was surprised that it was 2 ribs and cut pieces of tri-tip. The 3-sides I had mac and cheese, baked beans, potato salad. The mac and cheese and baked beans were really good. Potato salad I did not like but my husband did. Overall the prices are too high for what is received. Went for dinner on a Sunday. We were greeted right when we walked in. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They took our order and the food came out fast. We ordered the 4-way with 2 sides (greens and Mac & cheese). All the meats we selected were very tasty and the consistency on the BBQ sauce was better than most other places we've tried. The place was very clean and the staff allowed the kids to choose what they wanted to watch on the TV they had on. I would definitely come back and recommend it to family and friends. read more

Worst BBQ we ever had before. We ordered to go on their grand opening week. Food were too dry, worst than jerky more charcoal like ribs and pork are too sweet with loads of sauce. The amount of food is not equal to the price also. Nobody like their Mac n cheese either. The corn breads are not good either. They did not provide any services. It was a bit slow maybe because they are too new. The location is easy to found & free parking and the store itself just maintains the previous business interior. Which is fine. There are way better BBQ places in town. Not sure who could someone else like it. Maybe they like load of sugar and sauces on their food. But, the over burned food like that I cannot eat it. Four of us still hungry after spending over a hundred dollars. Will not go again. The 1 star is for the parking and bright clean looking place. read more

I'm not a huge fan of barbecue to begin with, but my husband is so we agreed we'd come here so he could do the barbecue and I could eat nearby. Ordered him the lunch rib combo only to discover that the lunch combos don't come with french fries and the sides are not anything that he would like and I was right about that. He absolutely hated the greens. The ribs were neither crispy nor well done. As a matter of fact they were pink and pink. Pork is never a good thing. Had them put the sauce on the side so I could try a bite of the ribs. It was just plain nasty. Even my husband wasn't happy with it so we will not be coming back. Ordered combo meal with ribs and brisket and sides of baked beans and mac and cheese. Both brisket and ribs were dry, salty and overcooked and were barely edible. Unlike the website picture, the brisket was not sliced but was shredded, cubed and lathered in sauce. In some cases, the ribs were not whole ribs but pieces of ribs. Rather than being creamy, the mac and cheese was dry. Pickup was on a Friday night at 6 pm when the restaurant should be busy. There were no other takeout orders and only one couple in the restaurant. Unless the restaurant substantially improves it will not be around much longer. We want to see the smoke ring on our bbq.which is not possible when the meat is cubed and covered with sauce. The sauce was also on the sweet side but the greens were quite good.
