SALESMEN Two friendly salesmen came to visit us from LaBella on 10/9/25, Kobe and Ramiro. They were both respectful, walked around the property, evaluated our roof and gave us the salespitch. We were moved by their presentation and thought the product sounded wonderful. Take-aways: PRODUCT - They offer a premium product called TPO, which sounded fantastic to me. There's a 25 yr warranty on it and NO need to repaint it every couple of years, saving you thousands of dollars. They claimed their TPO was better than the standard, being 60 mil thick instead of 30 mil thick. COMPANY - Their company has been in business for years, is reputable, but relatively new to Arizona. INSTALLERS - They only hire installers with 4 years of experience in roofing and every one of them must complete a special training for their product installation. ONE-STOP-SHOP - I believe they said, and I may have misunderstood, that they were BOTH the manufacturer and the contractor for their product. They pointed out the benefit of having a one-stop-shop. Benefit - One call to have any problem taken care of. You no longer find yourself in a war between the manufacturer who blames the contractor's installation or the contractor blaming the product, with neither of them wanting to pay for any issues that may arise. Material warranty was 25 yrs. Con - In my opinion... having a contractor who will ONLY install and service their product and NOT the customer's needs can be risky. I asked if they used subcontractors in case my a/c duct system has rust holes in them and needed repair or replacement. The answer was NO, they only do above the rafters/beams and nothing else. I could repair those issues from inside the house (tearing down the ceiling). I was put off by that. PRICING - For an 2,400 sq ft roof (AI calculated) the first estimate was aproximately $47k. Once they removed our porch roofs the sq footage was 1,800 sq ft for $38k. AGREEMENT - Even though I had my doubts, didn't like the price, and felt uncomfortable, the decision was my Mom's to make. My Mom wanted a one and done deal, pay and get it over with. My Mom was sold on the idea that the extra money would go towards the success of the company and the employees who needed to be paid well. I was sold on the value of the product and the warranty. THE DAY AFTERWARD My Mom and I started to look over our finances. The payment for a loan at a 9.99% interest (quoted, but not guarantreed) for 15 years was still going to eat into our already tight budget. She would have to sacrifice her needs; new teeth, a refrigerator and a water heater or a new roof? Once the reality set in, we decided to get another estimate to make sure we weren't going to loose our shirts. Another company came by the next day on 10/10/25 and showed us a few options. Their TPO price was $30k without any discounts (and there's always at least one or two discounts they give you). Thats $5k less already. PRACTICAL NEIGHBOR HELPS US Our friendly neighbor from scross the street came over to sit in on the second estimate from the another company. Many ideas were debated. I'm including these debates because they were part of the first companies selling points as well and a big part of why we backed out. IMPROVING YOUR HOMES MARKET VALUE The idea that our home would be worth more with a better roof was debated. House sales in our neighborhood weren't going to skyrocket enough to pay for a huge roof cost of $30k+. We might pay less in maintenance, but the house wouldn't sell for that much more, so we won't get that investment back, we would just sell it faster. Why pay for a castle in the middle of a lower income family neighborhood? My heart sank. I would love to be a castle. Lol! WARRANTY Then we spoke about warranties. My neighbor blew that benefit out of the water. Did you know that if you alter your roof in any way it voids the warranty? If you put solar panels on your roof, there goes your warranty. Bummer!! We had already decided to get solar panels. We signed on the dotted line, had approval from TEP, already had our electric box upgraded (for free) and we're waiting on getting a new roof (needed estimates) to complete the installation (also for free). What do you do? Give up solar panels or get a cheaper roof? Since my Mom is on oxygen 24/7 we need the solar panels with a battery backup so she's never out of air, especially when TEP loses power. FINAL DECISION My mom went with the second company, purchasing a FULL roof replacement (not just a half) for a Polyglass Elastomeric, 3 ply 2 coat tear for about half the price. REASON for Backing Out Great product, but too expensive. read more

To Hella with DaBella!  Two DaBella, representatives came to the house to give us an estimate for some work to be done with with our plumbing issues, and possible toilet replacement. Like other Reviewers posted,they were 45 minutes late. They did not call before coming, as they were requested, so they would not get lost in our vast web of dirt roads.  They were also at the house for over 3 hours and almost would not leave.    Unfortunately they were trying to give us a proposal for a complete tub and shower replacement with mediocre "acrylic" surround, which by the samples that they showed are really ultra light polymer . The bathroom, bathtub / shower is practically new,  Custom, and has Life Time High End fixtures  The DaBella representatives, said that they only work with wet surfaces,, which they specified as only Tubs and showers.  Toilets and Sinks are also wet location as well especially when they overflow as well as Outhouses. They also do not work with plumbing but want to replace High end Quality, fixtures with low end quality Moen, fixtures.  They took a list of what we were interested in and gave us prices on paper, and kept, what I presume, calling someone, or pretending to call someone , to give lower prices,  which they wrote down on the of paper. They started at $31,000, with $315 down, raised it to $34,925, with $340 down, lowered it to $27,000 with $270 down and then came to $25,821 with $250 down.  They both kept trying to get us to sign even though we told them that we wanted to get other bids.  They tried to keep telling us about their 50 year warranty and that the price of the products will be increasing every three months, and kept pressuring us to sign. They also told us that there is no reason to get quotes from any other companies as their installation people have 7 years experience, and are highly qualified.  The two representatives were personable, until they started to degrade our intelligence when we refused to sign, and accept their offer, which was  not even a Real actual Offer or Quote for the work that they wanted to do.  Considering that they have 40 pages of Negative reviews just from 3 states, Oregon, California and Arizona, and most of their Positive Reviews seem fabricated as they only mention about contact with the company and do not mention anything about the work done.  I saw the picture of a roof that was done by DaBella, and the roof tiles at the Hip Line, were incorrectly placed. They are supposed to be on the top of the tiles that are going down the roof and not below as the picture shows, otherwise when it rains, the water will leak into the house. They were trying to tell us that the scribbling on their paper was a Rough Quote which was an insult to all tradesmen out there who have written impromptu legible Quotes that are to be turned to Professional Bids / Contract / Proposals detailing all use of materials / Time frame, of what is to be expected, and Authorized Signatures of  Owner / Foreman and the Clients / Homeowners with Date and ROC . The representatives that Dabella sends out are Young, Naive and trained to Insult ,and Bully experienced and seasoned homeowners and low information  new homeowners. According to the reviews of many other employees, I believe that they are highly pressured by their Supervisors and Upper Management, and Whistleblowers have said that it is a very Toxic environment to work in. After an eMail was sent to speak to the owner, after they sent out an eMail with a questionnaire for a review,which was not filled out, a female representative, called and wanted to know how did they do, we told the  female representative, that we had a lot to say and told her that we wanted to speak to the owner directly. She then questioned us and said you want to speak to the CEO directly. We said Yes, the matter is between us and him. Then she hung up.
