From my first contact with them and right through installation I was impressed with their commitment to customer service. Which is not often found this day and age. First sales.. Vinnie was on time and very knowledgeable. my wife and I chose Anlin windows for their quality and UV protection for 21 windows and 1 sliding glass door. With an excellent price we proceeded to order and schedule the windows. Vinnie presented us with the time line from order to installation and was spot on. I made the mistake of using this company. Poor service since they don't know their Milgard products. For example I asked about the crank on the casement window on the thermal aluminum windows at their showroom. They said it's a standard crank out. Well, turns out it's a push out, so you need to remove the screen and push open. So let the bugs in first? The arm does not keep it open. They also provided a screen with an opening to help push open easier which is UGLY. On the orders there is only a quote # so when I contact Milgard I do not have the order #. The quotes do not specify the models I purchased. Besides that, where the units meet on the exterior, they added a vinyl strip to cover between which is now a faded and never matched the color of the windows or door. Totally unacceptable next to my fiberglass door and aluminum windows. I am now trying to get service for the windows from Milgard and they have not responded. I contacted them Feb 2026. The lower fixed aluminum windows have condensation between the panes. Stay away! read more

Had new windows installed last year in Green Valley. Dual pane anlin windows. Right off the bat had cold air coming in the windows. Weathersby send out an inspector from their own company. Found out the void spaces in the windows had not been filled. Letting in cold air. They send out a TECH and he only filed half the voids. Called Anlin to inspect and they agreed poor install. Spoke with Michael and he made light that "the window in the garage" did not have the voids filled. Be careful read all the ratings. We will be getting the windows replaced by a better company. Do not let these people install anything in your house, they are not qualified. Almost Every window and door in my new build home had to be re set or and in some cases replaced due to poor quality of installation. We had several windows and doors that had to be replaced due to damage either from transportation , poor handling, or damage during installation. The pricing was good and the sales group was good to work with, but avoid any and all installation at all costs. Recommend hiring a finish carpenter as they will definitely take more care and pride in their workmanship. We opted not to have them bid the interior door package and went with a different company all together due to the experience we had with our exterior doors and windows read more

He noticed a scratch on the glass, and ordered replacement for us. (Hopefully it doesn't take as long) We have been very happy with Weathersby. I had new Milgard replacement windows and have been happy until I noticed that I could see the outdoors in one of the west facing windows. I then checked all the 13 windows and noticed the same thing in five of them. Very lighty chalked and no chinking of insulation between the window frame and the wood rough opening.. I called and they said they don't cover after 2 years and I did a little complaining and talked about the craftsmanship of the installation, They called back and scheduled a time for someone to come out and review. That took place and They scheduled a time for someone to come back and prep and re-chalk. Got a call post postponing that date and rescheduling for another date. Noone showed up. I had taken down blinds and custom stain glass panels that hung in front of windows, rearranged Funiture. No one showed. called and no one could come out. Called someone else to do the job and do it right., scrap off the old chalking and chink in insulation then re-chalk inside and out! What a nightmare that turned out to be. Bob in Tucson read more

I purchased 15 Milgard windows through Weathersby Windows, and Weathersby Windows also installed them in February of 2017. Prior to install, I asked about flashing. I was assured over and over again that in Arizona flashing is not used. I accepted this answer based on the installer's assurances of his skill and experience. Big mistake. Huge. As it turns out there is no exception to the flashing required by the building code regardless of location. And as it turns out, there is no approved method anywhere for no fin windows in a wood framed house when the old windows are removed frame and all. During the installation I saw numerous problems, including pounding and racking the windows into place because the install crew failed to cut the stucco properly. As of now I have 15 medium to large windows with no flashing, almost no shimming, improper shimming, improperly placed screws, and Quickrete caulking as a substitute for the actual "stucco repair" listed in the contract. The width of the caulk joint far exceeds Quickrete's stated maximum in many spots as well, and there was zero backer rod used. So even if caulk could ever be a substitute for proper flashing, the caulk job I got was pathetic. I noted leaks the first time rain blew against the side of my house. It will probably cost me in excess of $20,000 to have the entire job redone with proper flashing and new windows that include nail fins. On top of everything else, the totally incompetent install crew left me with bare drywall around all of the downstairs windows because they failed to account for the depth of the new window frames, and then said that they could not cut the metal drywall corner bead. That left me with the option of the window frames sticking out on the outside in a hideous way, or having them rip off the drywall corner bead on the inside. Since the install I have done considerable research, and found that the installation violates several sections of the building code. The International Code Council has also confirmed that flashing is required. Darrin Weathersby, one of the company owners, has at this point admitted in sworn testimony that the windows were not installed per code, and they were not installed per the manufacturers instructions. Unfortunately the Arizona ROC has completely failed in my case and others, so it looks like a civil lawsuit will be my only recourse from here. Trust me you do not want to do business with this company. Their claims of an A+ rating with the BBB are highly suspect as well. I don't know what's going on at the BBB in Tucson Arizona where Weathersby's HQ is located, but my complaint was somehow removed from the BBB. read more

Choosing a window installer and brand is a difficult and expensive decision to make. It was even harder during the pandemic. Fortunately, Weathersby and their sales rep. Vinnie made the decision a bit less stressful. We got multiple quotes on different products from different installers and it finally came down to reviews, price and product - Milgard Ultra C650 fiberglass and Weathersby. Vinnie was very easy to communicate with and readily available which was important to us because we had to pass a historic approval process so there was lots of back and forth. Once the contract was signed and a down payment made there was a 10-12 week manufacturing time until install. Finally our windows were delivered and Luis and Johnny worked their magic, redoing rotten trim and in a week they'd installed 10 single-hung windows. Luis was very outgoing and explained what they did and how to use the windows. He even called out defects which we probably wouldn't have noticed until much later. We've already recieved email notification from Milgard that they will be replacing the parts so we'll see how long that process takes and I'll update this review. All in all Weathersby was outstanding from beginning to end. read more

We were on time for appointment, he was almost 30 minutes late! I was so irritated as I had another appointment afterwards. He was completely disorganized and took forever to find our measurements. Worst contractor ever. We had top-of-the line Milgard windows installed throughout our large home in Oro Valley. The caulking job was atrocious and even left smears on the new windows. A screen door was dragged on a concrete patio and then installed with missing paint and a tear in the screen. A brand new kitchen countertop was damaged during installation of a window above it. Etc. But the main problem has been the lack of response to our calls requesting replacement of the screen--not even a return call after three calls to them and 3 months of waiting after paying them over $30,000. read more

Our experience with Weathersby was outstanding. It started with the sales manager, John, who listened to what we wanted and worked with us to make sure we got it. John worked with us on some unique contract language and was very accommodating to our all of our requests. I chose Weathersby Windows to quote and install a set of Milgard In-Swing French doors to replace an existing unit. The salesman George Percy came out and sold us the door with screens. Upon the morning of installation he left a message on my phone stating something about the screens (which I understood as there were no automatic closers with the screens) which did not matter because we don't use them. As the installation team (which were great) finished, I asked where the screens were, they called the store and handed me the phone at which time George or John stated there were no screens and they would give me a check for the cost of the screens. After talking to Milgard, they do not manufacture a screen for those doors, nor can you install any without voiding the lifetime warranty they have. I told Weathersby I want the doors replaced with a unit that comes with screens from Milgard but after 2 weeks I have heard nothing in a response. I asked Anderson and they gave me a figure that I could buy a car or use as a down payment on another house. Tucson Windows and doors also way too expensive. Weathersby told me they would be completed in 2 days and they were with a lifetime guarantee! I have big, little and long windows plus skylights; nothing standard. I can't say enough about the professionalism and skill of the entire team, they are excellent; the salesperson gave me exact prices, when things would be made by Milgard and delivered, all of which were accurate. I must say that Diane the owner was probably the worst customer service experience we have ever encountered here in tucson. We had given a deposit in good faith as we were still awaiting for the installer "her son" to come out and measure. In that time we had also had other appointments set up for measurements and quotes. After all was done her quote had came in the highest!! So as a normal customers we called that same day to ask for our deposit back as we were going a different route.. over a week had passed and still no refund. So my wife calls and gets Diane on the phone and she has the nerves to argue with my wife and tell us that after 72 hours no refunds. Uhhhh don't think so. Purchased a Milgard Tuscany sliding door from this Co. At the time I told them I wanted a dealer who would assist me if anything went wrong. Although they gave me that assurance when the door was installed with MULTIPLE defects and issues I had to be quite pushy with them to help move up Milgard service date from the original 45 days out (and this was a new install). Since then I havent bothered with Weathersby as it was obvious they sell you and forget you. To say the Milgard door they sold me lacked any sort of quality would be an overstatment. In14 months have had numerous service calls, After they replaced the original door, everything from a 7" crack forming in frame to upgraded locking system breaking over and over again. If you buy this door from Weathersby expect no help from them - althought it would be nice if they would provide the 2x4 so you would be able to secure the door and your home. Stay Away! read more

If you're looking for a professional and positive experience, Weathersby Windows & Doors is NOT the place to go. I'll start by saying that communication between their staff and customers is extremely poor. As a consumer, we visually and verbally communicated what we would like to have done with our doors. We trusted that staff would properly write down our wishes. The contract consists of numbers and letters which are unfamiliar to the consumer but our wishes were reverberated back to us ensuring our wishes would be fulfilled. When the doors arrived, it was not what we had discussed, but because the special numbers and letters weren't on the contract (we took for granted the staff wrote down what we wanted), they didn't try and make it right. I'll walk you through our unpleasant experience with this company. First, one staff member started the contract with us and then the owner Darrin took over, having no communications with his staff member as to what was going on. Throughout the process of waiting for the doors, we were told we could have our locks keyed the same to all doors and to bring in the door hardware to the store to have locks keyed. When we arrived to the store to drop off our door hardware, the owners father was there and said he would leave a message for the staff. We never received a call back. Furthermore, we sent multiple emails asking what our 10ft door hardware would look like, we never got response other than "bronze". When asking specifics about the door handle, there was no response. This is what I mean about communication, no one in that office delivers messages or communicates, therefore the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. The day prior to our scheduled appointment, no one from the business called us to confirm our appointment. At 2pm, I began to worry because of the previous experience we had with their communication, so I called their office and they said, yes we will be there tomorrow at 7:30am. It was 8:30am on installation day and no one had showed up so we call the office and they said "oh they should be there, they just left the office". It wasn't until 9:15 that the workers showed up. As we confronted them about the time, the workers stated they didn't have all their materials to do the job and they had to stop at Home Depot. Not once did we receive a courtesy call stating they would be late, which would have satisfied any customer. The workers were scheduled for one day of work to install 3 doors. The workers showed up with two doors and partially installed those two doors. Screws were missing from the hinges and we had to keep telling them to insert the missing screws. The missing screws didn't match the color of all the other screws. The hinges to our 10ft door did not match the hardware to the "bronze" door hardware that we kept trying to get information on. They didn't have the sweep or the weather striping to one of our doors. As the workers "completed" the two doors, they told us they would be back tomorrow to install the third door. We were scheduled for only one day of work. No one communicated to us that this would take multiple days for installation until they were here, making it inconvenient for us. The owner's reasoning for not having the third door was because the third door wasn't finished...did we receive a courtesy call from the business stating the door wasn't done? You guessed it, no we didn't. On the second day of installation, the owner showed up to stain our third door. We wanted to address several things with him. We asked him to activate the self closing hinges on our fire proof door yet he was unfamiliar with the process as he had to YouTube how to do so. The door knob was loose on one of our doors and when we asked the owner about it, he stated, that is maybe how it might have to be, but I can take a look at it. We also asked if we could change our door hardware since we didn't have the opportunity to pick it, yet we asked about it before installation and did not receive any feedback. The owner was reluctant to help exchange the door knob and was more interested in receiving a full payment to fulfill a "completed contract". We also asked the owner about being able to get the hinges to our 10ft. door to match the door knob. He said sure. Two weeks later, workers show up with the wrong color hinges. We waited another three days to finally receive the right color hinges. Overall, this was an extremely painful and unpleasant experience and I absolutely felt like I settled. Dealing with poor employees can be expected and it is not unreasonable to speak with the owner or manager, however with this company, the worst part is the owner, Darrin. The installers did their best with what they had, they were friendly and hard working but because of poor communication and direction from the owner, this is the type of experience you can expect. read more

Last year I had them replace all my windows with new Milgard windows and it was like I lived in a new home. The rep came to the house, measured the windows and took the time to really listen to my concerns about my budget and how the install would work. The installers were the nicest most professional guys. They made it fun and took pride in their work. I had a couple other bids and Weathersby was very competitive so I chose them again to replace my patio doors last week. Again I can't say enough kind words about the staff in the office and the installers. They were able to work around my crazy work schedule and when they left the house was cleaner then when they came the first day. Sometimes it's hard to find a quality contractor who does what they promise at a fair price. I found one! Weathersby Windows & Doors is one of those contractors. I feel completely comfortable recommending Weathersby to people looking for those qualities. It started with trying to work with a contractor who had served us previously. Turns out management had changed and they were difficult to work with ... so we went shopping. Started conversing by email with Weathersby Operations Manager, John Wagner in Tucson, who convinced me the Milgard Ultra windows are as good or better than the Marvin Infinity windows we had purchased from our previous contractor. When I committed to go with Weathersby, he handed me off to his Tempe office and Chris Huneycutt. The Ultra windows seem to be as good or better as promised, but we discovered we like the style of the Ultra interior frame much more than the Infinities. The best part, however, was the installation. Chris was great to work with and his crew, Tim, Kirk, & Austin, arrived on time - removed the old windows and installed the new Ultras with great efficiency. I ordered a window replacement on Sep 19 and was told that someone would be out in 2-3 weeks for final measurement. The final measurement was made first part of November. The window was installed December 11. Richard, the installer, did a great job on the installation. From September 19 - December 19 we had 2 calls, nothing else. I feel it is my obligation to warn my fellow consumers about Weathersby windows, the worst consumer experience of my life. Avoid this business like the plague! We purchased 2 Milgard patio doors from this company in June and they were installed in July at a cost of about $5000.00. We were promised that the doors would look like they came on the house by one of the owners Diana Weathersby when we were sold the doors. This company advertises as a family business (so what!) and they promise 100% satisfaction. This company failed to live up to their advertising hype in every way. The doors were installed improperly and looked horrible. The doors did not function properly and the work looked sloppy. They did not deliver on their promise of quality. Just as bad as the low quality of the work was the response from the owners especially Darrin Weathersby the son of the other owner who is prominently mentioned in other reviews on this website, for good reason, dealing with him was extremely unpleasant and insulting. After I called to report the poor work Diana Weathersby promised to have someone out in a couple of days to check on my concerns. After no response I called 2 more times before I was able to contact Diana a week later. Her excuse was that she had gone on vacation! She sent her son Darrin to my home for what I thought was an inspection but what I got was a rude person who wanted to dismiss or ignore my concerns and hide the problems. He stayed at my home about 1 hour monkeying around and then left promising to return in a couple of days, which didn't happen. Long story short, I was forced to file a complaint with the Registrar of Contractors after no contact from Weathersby, an inspection of the work was done, the work was found not to meet minimum legal standards, Weathersby was ordered to correct the multiple deficiencies with the work or face fines or loss of their contractors license. I eventually was able to force them to take back the doors after buying new ones and having the doors Weathersby installed removed. Dealing with Weathersby has been a nightmare which has delayed my project 5 months, cost me many hours of aggravation, and many hours wasted online filing complaints. I can't imagine that a merchant like this one who does such shoddy work, and treats their customers with so little respect will be in business in the long run.
