The company's owner, Lance, came out soon after and conducted a meticulous roof inspection, providing us with a detailed assessment illustrated with captioned photos detailing its current state and a point-by-point proposal as to how GreenGo would address each aspect of our particular job. Lance also made a second visit where he went through the proposal in person with us, his crew's qualifications, the insurance his company carried, and the offered warranty. He also willingly provided us with prior job references. The job was completed by his crew over the course of five days, with site visits by Lance. This was followed by an owner walk-through and receipt of drone images of the completed work which included photos showing corrections to all items noted in the initial inspection. The first company said the damage was likely from a water line that came out on the roof. He suggested I contact a plumber for that issue but said I needed the penetrations resealed. I also had some fascia and woodwork on the sides of the house that needed painting. The quote was very reasonable but the guy was kind of a fast talker. AA Brite was the second company to come give an estimate. Derek arrived on time and took the time to find where the water line on the roof was connected. He found that it was to the old swamp cooler. He spent a good 30 minutes on the roof (the other guy was up there for maybe 5) and also found that my AC was blowing out of the old swamp cooler vent on the roof. He temporarily sealed it so that I wasn't cooling the whole neighborhood. He even came inside and looked at my HVAC lines to make sure the old swamp cooler was not still hooked up. This is all from a roofing company! I was given a quote to cap the old swamp cooler vent and seal the roof penetrations. It was a little more than the first quote and did not include the painting, but it was still very reasonable. I canceled the appointment with the third company because I was so happy with Derek's thoroughness, helpfulness, and explanation of everything. He really went above and beyond to help me. After about a week I was able to get the work scheduled. Chris arrived on time and did a great job. He took photos during and after the repair, which were shared with me. I can't say enough about what a good experience this has been.

I told them my concerns on side things I would like fixed due to construction, not directly having to do with the roof. This is my first big project I did by myself, and I did it without consult. Next time I wouldn't pay someone the final payment, which I did, until I am sure that all is well. My adult son John will do a final inspection when he is in Tucson in December or January, and he will be more knowledgeable than me. He and Blue Mountain Roofing can make any needed decision then. When I called to schedule an estimate, the office told me they were booking full roofs (what we needed) six months out! After looking at the ROC, etc. for other roofers, we decided to wait for SARA. Dan came to our house, inspected, and gave us a complete explanation of what we did and did not need. He provided two sets of estimates based on options we requested. Both were reasonable for the value offered. We made our down payment and, after the next monsoon rain, a small leak appeared in the tile area of our roof. Since our scheduled work was still a few weeks away, Dan had a team member come out and patch it up. Work started at the scheduled time, and the team was efficient and clean. The only issue was a delay in skylight delivery from the manufacturer. SARA came out a day after the skylights were received to install them. The roofing materials are quality and look great, and the new skylights are tons better than the original 1980s versions. We are glad we chose Southern Arizona Roof Associates.
