I declined. I did not want them in my home. The owner and I settled and I paid him. However, as the day passed I found more damage. I sent him photos via text messages. I received no response. I sent him a certified letter requesting further compensation to cover the cost of repairs. The letter was received on October 24, 2022. I waited a week and followed up with another text. A winter storm blew some of the metal around our various vents up and needed them glued back down. Jared got back to me the same day and we scheduled a time for a roof inspection and free quote. Jared was very timely and got me a quote with pictures and details the same day. The price was decent so we scheduled the repair. Ben was the foreman who did the repair. He showed up right on time and did a great job on the repairs. He saw some issues not noted in the quote and fixed them at no additional cost. Ben made sure our perimeter tiles were secure and glued down. He fixed multiple areas where the mortar had worn out and cracked. I wasn't home when he finished the job, so he came back later in the afternoon to walk me through all that he did. After a two-day job tuned into nearly 4-weeks, Oscar returned claiming the roof was completed and wanted payment. Oscar was told that his work was to be inspected before payment would be rendered. Oscar was not happy and again demanded payment and went so far as to threaten us. So, Oscar was ordered off our property. We called upon Adrian Ramirez with Santa Cruz Builders & Custom Remolding to inspect the work before payment was rendered. The next morning, both Adrian and Alex Ramirez came to inspect the roofer's work. It was a disaster. Oscar left our roof unfinished with massive wood exposures amongst other major issues. Santa Cruz recommended Jimenez Roofing LLC to fix the problem and went so far as to arrange for Luis Jimenez Jr. onsite to complete emergency repairs until his company, Jimemez Roofing LLC could get back to tear out the botched job and complete the project correctly. It was a patch job at best, and if I hadn't gotten up on the roof to inspect the job I never would have known it. Water damage had destroyed the underlayment and decking. I was surprised the tile was still holding up. I got a hold of Dr Roofing. Darren came out in 2 days, did an inspection and scheduled the work 2 days later. His crew of 2 (son Nick and one other) showed up on time and had the project complete in 3 hours. They removed the tiles, the water damaged decking, a bird's nest, and very large dried up honey bee's nest that was under the old decking. New decking was installed, a layer of underlayment, replaced the tiles, and applied motar between the top edge of the tiles and roof line, and then cleaned up the entire area. 100% pleased and you will be too if you hire them.
