SKI came by and investigated the cause and gave me a reasonable price for repair. He showed me where the previous roofing company did a half fulfillment in sealing the roof correctly. Tucson has a LOT of terrible roofers. Save yourself a lot of heartbreak and use these guys because they are the best in Tucson for communication, quality of work and value. You can find roofers a little cheaper or more cut-rate but the prices of SKI are competitive and the quality and service are unmatched. My wife was a city building inspector so she could understand well what they did, how they did it and what materials they were using-- she rated them best we've ever had. Another thing is that if you are elderly and afraid of getting ripped off, these guys I dealt with --ask for Lee or Albert-- carefully explained everything, stuck to their estimate, had no hidden cost at the end and give you photo evidence of everything they did. When you have questions they often show up at your house to answer them personally and quickly look at whatever the problem is. I was also an inspector years ago (of road construction) and I urge you to listen to me and my wife. These guys are the best of Tucson by far-- young, personable, sincere, honest, straightforward, long lasting and...they honor their warranty. We've been in Tucson 45 years now-- you'll NEVER find any people or company better. p.s. We were having a leaking problem with a relatively new roof. Couldn't get original contractor so we called SKI Roofing. Luis came out and inspected the roof, took pictures of the problem and explained the solution. We had other estimates but felt very confident in hiring SKI. They came out and fixed roof and the next night there was a hard rain, we had NO leaks which made us very happy. Since then, it has rained a few more times and no leaks. I interviewed 5 companies, really liked 2, and ended with Ski, because I liked the presentation by Patrick. He explained how Ski would provide high quality roofing and consistent partnering throughout the project. He was available during the entire project, open to all of my many questions and went out of his way to explain and show how roofs are now done, one layer of architectural shingles, each one nailed down with 6 nails. This, if done, gives a warrant of protection up to 160mph wind damage. Some roofers couldn't answer to this. We did run in to more expense on the project, more layers of shingles than thought. Ski handled the insurance company. They replaced skylights, wind turbines, and sealed old openings. They also repaired the flat roof and the metal roof over the storage area that was wrenched off and tossed over the building. All the work was done as agreed and looks amazing. They cleaned up after, with all debris gone, and the gutters cleaned out as well. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They did what they said when they said they would do it, with the highest quality materials and workmanship. They do run a bit higher than some of the companies, but were right in line with the other quality roofers. There was a storm with torrential rains not 2 weeks after the roof was completed. Not a leak or a loose shingle anywhere. This is a 30 year roof that looks great, and will go the distance. read more

These guys were great! They seemed to be meticulous in every aspect of the work. They were moving constantly every day. There was some rain which held up the work for a couple days but it was done in a timely manner. The questions that I had were answered promptly and the guys were all friendly. From the initial work proposal, I was very impressed with the professionalism. First the good. They came out the day before Christmas in the rain to give me an estimate. A few days later I got the estimate. I thought it was high, but didn't want to wait for more estimates since there was a leak in a bathroom. Now the bad. I called to set up the appointment and was given Thursday PM for service. At 4:30 Thursday I called to see if they were still coming out and was told my appointment was for Friday. OK, not so, but I didn't argue, just asked what time Friday. Friday around 4PM, still a no show. Now it's almost 3 weeks and more rain coming. Fortunately, I found another company to come out the following Monday after looking at the photos SKI sent. My roof is now done, no thanks to SKI roofing. BTW, my cost from the roofer who did the work was less than half of what SKI Roofing wanted to charge me. Thanks for not coming out SKI Roofing! I won't be calling again. LOL! A week or more after my roof was done, someone from SKI appeared at my door to do the roof. read more
