We talked and I decided to have him come and take a look at my roof. Immediately, I noticed he was very easy to speak to. He first took a good look at my roof and actually saw a couple problems that I didn't know about. Several years ago; we had a terrible windy, rain storm that damaged many roofs in my area. Unfortunately, the representative from my insurance company did not agree that my roof should be replaced. They did pay for water damage in my garage. Steve Carlson thoroughly inspected my roof and this is when he found the reason that the water ended up damaging my garage. The previous wild storm had actually tore off my steel patio planks. One flew over the house and landed in my driveway. As it went over the house; damage was done by the heavy steel plank to the whirly bird. He explained this to me. The insurance representative should have inspected my roof closer and found this. So each time, we have had heavy rain and wind; more damage was done to my garage drywall ceiling. This past year, my drywall started breaking and just missed hitting my cars parked inside my garage. Steve Carlson explained in depth about about how their company uses the best materials and guarantee all their work and materials. He really went out of his way to find a way for me to qualify for this premium roof from Dabella. He explained how the company started and that they really are proud to offer a high qualify roof that will outlast many of their competitors. He explained in detail about they use the best materials and workmanship. In my case, I was not able to qualify to have this roof installed at this time. My financial status is stalled, due to some medical issues. Once I am able to start a full-time job; I plan to call Steve Carlson and allow Dabella to install a new and secure roof that will last a very long time. Having a new strong roof will also help on my utility costs. I would recommend Steve Carlson to come and review your roof and explain how this company does a thorough job and uses the best quality materials. Questionable Product Reliability and Very Poor Customer Service My journey with DaBella started the summer of 2024 for a bathroom/shower renovation/conversion in a guest room. The sales rep that came to give me the quote (Austin) was personable and I agreed to do business with DaBella and they helped me set up the finances. I didn't hear back from them for several days as far as what are the steps moving forward, only to learn that Austin had quit. If I had not called and followed up, the project would have stayed pending. Getting through the customer service line was also painstakingly difficult. That would have been the first red flag but the project had to continue because it's already beyond the recession period. DaBella did the bathroom renovation but did not complete the project on time as there were delays with the delivery of the shower doors and miscommunication between contractors on who's installing it. Once again, I had to call several times and figure out the timeline. Delays are understandable but the lack of communication is not. Another red flag but the project is near completion. The project was finally completed in September of 2024. The shower was tested in October 2024 for a couple of weeks and worked as it should. The shower remained dormant since then up until August of 2025 when it was used for another week. In the beginning of this October, the shower is barely working, with hardly any water pressure and water just trickling from the shower head. This is highly unusual as this shower is practically brand new with minimal usage. I called DaBella again and it was a struggle to get answers. On October 8th, I was informed that the project coordinator (Brandy) will get in touch with me within 24 to 72 hours. Nobody reached out from DaBella and I had to call again, this time I was directed to Sentrel and was instructed to have them take care of the issue or request a denial letter/service if DaBella is responsible for the issue. On October 16th, I was informed by Sentrel (Tyler) that they have reached out to DaBella already and sent the the "denial letter". When I called DaBella to follow up, once again I was told that the PC (Brandy) will reach out to me in 24 to 72 hours. I expressed concern because I was told this before a week before with no resolution and I requested that another person that may be involved should be in the communication line. The customer service rep included the manager (Isabella Thompson). It is now October 20th, and I called DaBella and I was told that they will resend the message again to Brandy and Isabella and to expect a call from them by end of the day. If I don't hear from them, to give DaBella a call again and they will loop in another manager. I'm pretty much going in circles. Meanwhile, I'm still making monthly payments on this 20K bathroom/shower remodel, for which the shower is not working. I don't want to trouble anybody and I would really just prefer that the company do the right thing and fix the issue right away. I think I have exercised extreme patience and me writing this review is an avenue I'm using to seek the needed assistance. I noticed that Xavier W. Super aggressive, borderline creepy sales reps. Came to my home, same long winded pitch we heard from the last company. We told him upfront we wouldn't purchase that day, that we're getting 3 estimates. Guy said cool, continued with his pitch. After a while I had to leave to take my daughter to practice, during the 20 minutes he was in his car "crunching numbers" with his sales partner. He went over the estimates for different options with my boyfriend, who said thanks and that he'd give me the quote. Instead, the guy repeatedly tried to get my boyfriend to sign a contract that night. After refusing and saying it was my choice, the guy said nope, I'll wait until the decision maker gets back (which would be a while). Boyfriend said no, just leave the quote, and the guy replied saying no he didn't trust that I'd get it. The guy was getting more and more intense and my boyfriend finally had to kick the guy out. They continue to call incessantly, finally talked to someone today, she acted concerned about the way I was treated, then hung up on me when I said we were going with someone else. This company is terrible... Let's start by the pushy sales tactics they use to get you to comply. They will not take no for an answer. Everything was decent until install day. Our yard was left A MESS. Nails, roofing, and trash everywhere. When everything was said and done we had noticed that our Christmas lights had been cut in several places, rendering them useless. No one mentioned anything to us. We are still finding rusty nails all over. The salesman for this company is quite convincing that you are going to get a quality product - - which I may have received. However, they promised to help you with insurance - - and they do not. They charge double what a normal roof would be and deliver nothing further than a normal roof. I have requested over and over an itemized invoice, over several months, and have never received it. This would help me maybe get more money from my insurance company. One of their reps called me and offered me a free dinner as compensation for my problems. I find that insulting after spending $30,000 for a roof! Select another company that doesn't charge you double! You'll be much happier. I told them im not interested in new windows, then i let them in. I then showed them the problem with the windows. And then they told me that they really don't fix windows. At that point i knew i was taken and the whole speel about how great their windows are. Bait and switch. I then told them I did not have time for a presentation and one girl told me i had already signed up for that and it would be 60 to 90 minutes. Dabella is a roofing company I was gonna use until they sat in my house until 9pm refusing to leave until they got a sale. They over bid there material and labor until about the 4th or 5th call to get the price lowered which already is shady business tactics. Then they will constantly call you saying they have people in your area to stop by when I have clearly told them no and to take my phone off there call list. At this point I have told them no and blocked multiple numbers they call from but they keep harassing me. I regret even letting them in my house. We hired them to do a bath to shower conversion in January, needless to say we have dealt with 5 different sales representatives, 3 different installations, problems with our finance paperwork and no cooperation or empathy. We are now in November and the shower is still not complete and in worse shape then it was before all this mess. This company is terrible! Avoid it at all costs! They have no problem selling a product but try to get them to deliver the same product is another thing. The calls are on hold for a period of time and then go to voice mail requesting that a message be left. Unfortunately, the messages are never answered. Some voice mails, particularly customer service for existing projects, say that the department is currently closed for the holiday, please call back tomorrow. (And it is NOT even a holiday)! Needless to say, I was contacted two days earlier by project manager, Brandy, who said that my roofing supplies would be delivered on a specific date. Well, guess what? No supplies delivered on that date and and of course NO ANSWER at Dabella. Called the schedule request line since they are the only ones who appear to answer the phone (on a recorded line, as they repeatedly state}, but alas, they were unable to help and only transferred me to the same recording stating that they are closed for the holiday. Again, it is not a holiday marked on a calendar! Can you say runaround? The sales department praised the fact that this company was a family-owned business, so why is the service department not in line with delivering like a family-owned business? We had a tech come in and give us a price on a least expensive shower remodel. His quote was $14,600 +/-. When we told him it was WAY too much and asked him to leave - HE WOULD NOT We had to call 911 and threaten him with with removal from our home by the Sheriff's dept to get him to leave. He was on the phone with his boss and his boss didn't want him to leave. Don't even consider these shisters to do work for you. DaBella recently replaced all of our windows. They spent a lot of time here during the measurement and estimate portion of the project. We initially ordered windows with grids. Shortly after ordering we contacted them and said we had changed our vision and did not want the grids. It was confirmed that the change would be made. When the install team showed up with the windows, they had grids in them. After the install, we discovered damage to our house. Also, the trim they used to replace our original trim is NOT the correct size. Several phone calls were made to DaBella. At one point we were told the correct trim was being ordered. Not true. A rep from the company showed up at our house last night and looked at the issues. His comment was, " How embarrassing." He then got his boss on the phone. His boss proceeded to insist that my husband sign a "Satisfactory Work" statement. Of course, my husband refused. The boss was irate. My husband spoke to DaBella again today. They REFUSE to come back to repair the damage OR install the correct trim. They offered my husband a mere $500 to rectify the matter. My husband has documented everything. He is taking the matter to the Arizona State Registrar of Contractors. read more

Here's another update because I am still dealing with this unprofessional company. They finally had someone come to my house to patch the whole for my ceiling from the shower they installed and leaked. These people told me they would come back the very next day at 10 am to finish the job because they had to wait for things to dry. The next day came, and they never came, I even left the supervisor a voice-mail, and he never called back. It has been over 2 weeks, and no one at DaBella is answering the calls. It just goes straight to voice-mail. Seems like they blocked our number to avoid completing the job. Who knows. I don't know what the deal is, but I am just so over it with this company. I have made payments and called customer service both locally and main number and never get contact with a person only leave a message. This is false advertisement as far as I am concerned. I had my shower remodeled. Some of the tile had fallen down, pulling the wallboard down with it. I had inquired in several places on the internet for quotes. DaBella sent two lovely ladies. The salespeople acted like they liked me. They were very persistent. And I may have overpaid. The installers pulled my shower down to the studs. They raised the shower pan approximately 5 inches. Then they put up new shower walls. They, also, installed two grab bars where I requested. This made my shower more accessible. The old shower required me to step down into it which greatly minimized fall risk. I was informed by the saleswoman that shower doors are not ADA compatible. I remembered that I have fallen, landing in the shower twice. I don't need to be falling thru a shower door. Which actually saved me a lot of money. The new shower was installed within a month. I received new shower head and new shower controls. It was a great remodel of my shower. I love it. read more

I had DaBella replace my roof in February of this year. In terms of the roof itself they seemed to have done a good job. However, there are a number of reasons I would not suggest hiring this company. The salesperson was very friendly, and explained a lot about roofing. However at the end of the visit put a high pressure (masked as friendly) twist to making me agree to go with their company on the spot. Some things that were promised... fast service, great clean up, and better materials then anywhere else. Of these, the fast service was delivered, but the other two and more were not. He said all of the materials would be cleaned up afterwards. I have been finding nails and roofing materials around the perimeter of my home ever since, I even stepped on one the other day triggering me to finally write this review. They shared a sample of the product they use under shingles instead of tar paper and went on and on about how much better it was. I found a piece in the debris left at my home and it tore exactly the same as tar paper. Their customer service before the sale was incredibly attentive, and there was a lot of fast communication. After the sale it has been close to zero. My biggest complaint was that I changed the color of my roof to black. They have you sign a no painting clause, which I did. When my solar panels were replaced they did not change the color of the electrical piping on top the roof to black, and left it brown as it was with my old roof. I wrote to the salesperson about it, and there was no response. I told the woman who came to check on the quality of the job, and there was no response referring my complaint about the issue. I emailed customer service, and some time later did receive a call but it was not clear it was even related to my email. I finally gave up. Even with the no painting clause, the right thing to do would have been to very quickly and very easily take care of such a simple job, after I payed more than $30,000 to have my roof replaced. A big company such as this should have no problem to do this. Now I am even concerned that with the 30 year warranty they boasted so much about, that I will have such a hard time getting them to fix anything that I will be stuck without help. This company is pushy, dismissive, substantially overpriced, and unresponsive after the sale. As the presentation went on he became like a poor used car salesman....calling his boss to see what they could do.....prices high initially but 'amazingly' they came down incrementally..really quite infuriating and totally embarrassing. They installed "energy efficient" windows two years ago and my energy consumption has not changed.

A man came to my door an said my roof needed replaced. The next day 2 salesmen came to the house and did an assessment. It was determined the roof had weather damage. After A LONG sales pitch and a price of $19,500.....cash and no positive conversation using my home insurance, I requested several times they leave and let me think. They would not stop the hard sales approach. They would not leave. I wanted to get a second opinion. The young salesman WOULD NOT STOP. I ended up threatening to call the police to have them leave. A hour or so later the older salesman was back, alone, apologizing for you young ones approach. And he had a new lower price of $15,000 and still no talk of insurance. I called another company. They xane out the next day and were polite and kind. They did all the paperwork and my roof has been replaced for my home insurance deductible...... DaBella has called 4 times now asking if I'm ready to get the work done. Each phone call I've told them it was completed by another company. They will not stop calling. Its done. read more

Warning - This is one of those shady pressure sales window companies you hear about. The salesperson showed up and wouldn't leave for 3.5 hours. He insisted on doing all the tacky demonstrations and sales script. When I tried to end the visit he wasn't allowed to leave until he could explain to his boss why I didn't buy their windows (his supervisor was routinely on the phone so this is not an individual salesman but rather their companies method of operating - when I described the experience to other professional window companies without saying the name... they said 'sounds like Dabella'). In my last review about a month ago I posted how Dabella was contracted for the Bathroom, roof and windows. In November early December The General Manager was both quick and efficient to make sure the roof was not only sealed was cleaned and properly done. For a roof that has NOT been worked on since the 50's they were the only one to take on the job at a cost effective price. This month the materials for both the windows and the bath arrived. Because it's a Historic Home the City of Phoenix will be working with Dabella on the windows later in the year. I cannot wait. Lastly, the bathroom. With the house being built in 1939, you would think there would be damage to the wood after so long. Well, on one wall yes. But the contractors hired with DaBella noticed the wall was not anchored to the floor or the ceiling. With the amount of damage at the bottom of the stud, the contractors faced a problem and solved it. We worked together with Dabella to recreate that wall and properly have it installed for a walk in shower. Not only did they communicate, Jose, Ricardo and Luis were incredibly professional and kind. I was originally stressed they would not work on the project. They calmed my fears and began fixing the issues right away. They even demoed a day early and showed up on time each day of construction!! They overcame challenges from taking out a cast iron tub IN ONE PIECE to Reconstructing a wall making sure it was safe and steady. I am thrilled that Dabella hired Pharaoh Contracting LLC on. All of you have been absolutely incredible. And I cannot thank you all enough. That shower is stunning!! They have 1 last day and I couldn't be more excited.
