They showed up at my door and I answered because I was expecting someone. I was clearly busy, wearing gloves for cleaning. I told them I didn't have time to talk. They asked me if there was a better time to talk and I gave them a time when my spouse would also be home, since we make big-purchase decisions together. They agreed to a time and took down my number. Giving it to them was the worst decision I made that month. They tricked me into making an appt for a home inspection rather to have a conversation about what they were offering. I called them to cancel this appointment and they acknowledged that but they have been calling me INCESSANTLY EVER SINCE. Wildly unprofessional; borders on harassment. I have a "no soliciting" sign on my door exclusively because of them. read more

We've told DaBella three times we're not interested. My fiancé does this type of work for a living, so we would not pay a company to do it. Yesterday a salesman came by twice-- the second time he saw me working from home, rang the doorbell, and when I didn't answer he lingered on the porch knocking and calling out "hello, hello." It was uncomfortable, pushy, and completely unprofessional. I would never recommend this company based on other similar behavior in the reviews. read more

This is follow-up to my review of 12/30/24. Just over a week after leaving my review, which included the mention of civil litigation and liability, I have a new roof being installed as I write this. I am assured it is the whole roof and of DaBella's high quality which includes the warranty I paid for 6 years ago. Two salesmen showed up for an appointment with my husband while I was at work. He wanted to get an idea of the cost and any potential issues. What he encountered was unprofessional and pushy behavior. After the initial inspection, they provided an estimate that seemed high, but could have been justified with an explanation. When my husband mentioned he needed to discuss it with me before making a decision, they pressured him by saying, "We can guarantee the deferment on the loan, but if we leave without an agreement, I can't guarantee it tomorrow." This was presumptuous since he hadn't even stated whether we needed a loan. Their tactics became more aggressive when they insisted he call me at work. My husband was hesitant but texted me to check if I was available. Once on the phone, I expressed my concerns about their loan deferment guarantee and stated that I needed more information before making any decisions. Unbeknownst to them, we have security cameras around the house, and I was able to listen to the entire conversation. They told my husband, "How about you go ahead and move forward with it and deal with her later," and offered to take nearly $10,000 off the original price if we advertised for them, adding, "but don't tell her that." Throughout the conversation, they referred to me in a very derogatory manner and encouraged my husband to hide information or distort the truth. Their unprofessional conduct culminated in a highly inappropriate comment as they left, stating they would wait for "him to get permission." This three-hour meeting was filled with many other uncomfortable moments that made us feel disrespected and uneasy. These salesmen lost a potentially good contract because my husband and I would never do business with a company that allows such disrespectful behavior from its staff. read more

Many of us homeowners have had our turns with home improvement service pitches. The folks that come to your house, do an evaluation, then consult you with what they recommend and it's always something you can't afford. That's what I was planning for. But Dabella showed up, evaluated my house, and made a pitched recommendation. I was not able to make the price range that they initially offered, so they met me where I could agree. That process took a few hours, financing application included. A few months later, after the products had been manufactured and delivered to Dabella, they contacted me to arrange an installation date. We live pretty far from their regional factory so I was notified that installation might take a few days. But that did not happen, they had it them installed in one day! The installation crew was courteous and professional and cleaned up everything when they were finished. The following day I called them up to arrange paying in cash via our HELOC instead of financing through their lender and they immediately facilitated that via credit card as well! Overall, one of the best all-around experiences I've had doing business with for a large purchase. Highly recommend both their products and services to anyone looking for what they offer! When I'm in the market for something they offer I'll definitely be looking back to what they can provide and I recommend you do the same! read more

We were promised a free evaluation of our roof and an estimate of what it might cost to replace it. Not only did the two representatives -- Mia Janzen and Darren Higgins -- provide those services, but they were knowledgeable, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. They and their immediate boss also did their best to offer us the best price with several options to choose from. Due to no fault of their own, they cannot help with my roof due to the poor manufacturing qualities allowed back in the 70's. However, they have fixed one friend/neighbors roof and are about to do another because of the great work already witnessed! Everyone who visited my property on behalf of DaBella were not only kind, but fun and easy to be frank with. I'd recommend Rick, Damion or anyone else from this company visit any day lol! Jessi R. came out to my house in mid-January and gave me a quote for a new roof. She did a great inspection and put together a very reasonable quote for me. I was able to get the roof replacement scheduled within a week and the roof is set to be replaced tomorrow. This is a very professional and efficient process, and Jessi is very knowledgeable. I received an unsolicited knock/doorbell ring at my door by a DaBella salesman. I did not answer the door, he then proceeded to knock & ring the doorbell 3 more times back to back. The last time was as he walked away. I had a sleeping baby and a dog barking at the door. Not sure if it's common practice for them to repeatedly knock and ring the doorbell if they're not answered but it is not a good way to earn business. Can't say I would ever use or recommend DaBella if they are this pushy without contact. Can't imagine how they are if you actually engage. read more

Irratatingly pushy. The people i met with at my home were pleasant. Found out not long after that I might not have a job in a month, and this was not an option at this time. Received a call from a nice gentleman this morning, explained my situation, he said Thank You, call us when you're in the need of service. Received a call from the same number a few hours later, hung up when I answered. Just received another call. Spoke with a woman? Explained my situation, and that I had talked to someone earlier, and to stop calling me.. she kept pushing to have somebody come by, and didn't seem to get that I was not in the state of mind, or that I gave two sh*ts about my remodel at that point. Very unprofessional. The calls should have ended after the first this morning. The call center is clearly not local, and I will not reach out to them in the future when, and if I'm able to remodal. We signed a contract with DaBella for our roofing and it was extremely expensive, we were told we had three days to cancel our contract if we decided to do so and then when we called and asked for the cancellation forms before the three days were up having decided to go elsewhere DaBella said they couldn't cancel for us only put in a cancel request. When then spent several hours on the phone and online fighting to even get close to a cancellation seeing as though they kept trying to get us under a different re-written contract instead, funny enough when we finally managed to get the cancellation forms they told us that we signed the request of cancellation a whole day later than we actually did sign it to skimp us an entire day. Do not trust this company, it is absolutely horrible the salesmen are friendly but what lurks underneath the surface is so hard to untangle from do not sign with these people. read more

I wouldn't recommend using this company for window replacement or anything else...they are strictly high pressure sales and after reading reviews elsewhere don't really follow their own business model. We were approached while working in our yard one evening in late October and the initial contact was very polite and professional. We were not ready to replace our windows and let them know that but thought it was at least a good idea to get a budgetary quote because it is something we need to do in the future so we made an 7:00pm appointment for the next evening. The gentleman assured us it would only take 60-90 minutes for the appointment. Emely Spencer came the night 30 minutes late stating her previous appointment ran long but didn't think to reach out to let us know she was running behind. She seemed very knowledgeable about the windows and almost 3 hours later after we got the quote she asked if we were ready to sign the contract. We asked if we could do some research since we didn't know anything about the company and also wanted to get some comparison quotes. We only have 6 windows although a couple are quite large the quote was approximately $24k and we don't make snap decisions on a purchase like this. Emely said she needed to call her boss to discuss with our concerns with him. He told her that if we signed a contract that night he would knock off $2000 off our quote since he was already placing an order for several of our neighbors. When Emely completed her call she relayed this information to us and we reiterated to her that we needed a few days to do our due diligence by researching DeBella and get the opportunity to get a comparison quote. Then she called her boss again and he said he would take another $2000 off the quote if we signed that night but if we didn't sign that night they couldn't guarantee the price of the quote at all. We finally said "no, we'd like to do our research first before making a decision on a larger purchase". Emely finally left at 10:00pm. Very unprofessional business practices! read more
