Great people to work with! They did an amazing job helping us remodel an office building.

My experience was: Showroom has an impressive amount of product, and much of it has the price displayed. However, it turns out that a good deal of what is on display is old stock that isn't available. We cycled through several rounds of bids, one was incomplete (no materials), another had vastly overpriced labor, finally got a bid that we all agreed on. Then when the job was done and it was time to pay, the agreed upon bid disappeared and we were sent the vastly overpriced labor bid as an invoice. Quite a bit of back and forth settled when I sent their bid to them, as they denied that the bid we had agreed to existed. Generously, their estimating process and record keeping needs a lot of improvement. Most of the work done was good, generally very good. Some of the detail work was not good. I had already paid my invoice when I contacted Ralph's about the issues. No response to texts, emails, voicemails. Finally got ahold of my rep, she led with "well, they all do that", which pretty much set the tone of the conversation. Needless to say, no, they never followed up with me after promising to do so, and at this point I'll just hire someone else to complete the job. Check cashed=customer no longer exists. Summary: mostly good result, but there's got to be better options in the area.

She told me could not have it. Her reasoning was not bc it wasn't in stock, it was bc the finish was glossy. No offense to gravity challenged ppl and Treauna but this flooring was NOT FOR YOU. Then, this salty woman told me picking out flooring was not for me. Joke is on you bc everyone who has toured my home loves all of the flooring I picked out. So classless of you! I'm giving you a 1 star rating bc zero wasn't an option.

They work very closely with insurance, and nowhere in their information pamphlet does it say we believe in treating our customer with respect and dignity, or we believe customer service is top priority , or something along those lines. They will however give you attitude and will make every excuse in telling you why they are right and you are not. It reflects the type of business and the direction of this company. The only time they mention anything about the customer is when they find out what your insurance will allow or before any work can begin payment is required in full. That's when they pay attention to you. Greedy people" gimme gimme my money", how pathetic. This is how you've built your business. Does your business reputation require you to call your clients out on their honesty and integrity, after all we were referred to you and all we wanted was a quote for extra work which we got only after you brought my wife to tears. A truly sweet person who would do almost anything for anyone, well we would like to thank you for making our lives miserable and sullying our character. Proving once again that there are not nice people in the service industry. All I can say is customer beware.

As things progressed with the current health crisis they thought maybe it wasn't a good time to make these types of purchase due to the uncertainty in the economy. They called mike Jacobson the owner to ask for a refund. And he refused. To add insult to injury there was NO SIGN on the receipt or during their conversation this was a final sale! Nowhere! They forced them to come pick up their product which is currently sitting in their spare bedroom due to them not wanting to make the extra expense to get it installed or risking someone coming in the house who may get them sick. I find it incredibly disheartening to see a company who claims to be Christian and a pillar of the community in Abbotsford would feel the need to negate older people from returning something they didn't feel it was the right time to purchase. This wouldn't happen anywhere else. Please take your business elsewhere

I have been a client of TIP TOP CARPET ONE for more than 20 years, I find that the staff at the…read moreshowroom are very helpful, let me give you a of example of great service. I am involved in a few strata buildings , the management of these buildings and making decisions take a long time, it isnt a wham bam kind of thing. We make an appointment, the estimator Mike Jacobson, he comes over measures the entire building, brings some samples to discuss, goes away, crunches some numbers for sq ftgs, then gets back to me with some thoughts, then a further consultation about how to cut costs with flooring in stairwells, some preventive measures to preserve the carpet in these high traffic areas, then advised us of the best colors for rental buildings, the best quality available within a comfortable range of price. He states, you have to be confident and comfortable as a consumer, specially if I am acting on behalf of 35 other investors in the building. Very important. Anyway, this does not happen overnight, the dollars involved are large as the building, we were given a very competitive price to consider, the follow up and attention to detail was over the top. Yet we still had to present to council, then take the large expenditure to an AGM some months later for the owners consideration and ultimate approval...... Thats right, not a wham bam situation.... more time required. The expense was approved by a unanimous vote, so then on with the show... More time required, we were refitting our building with new lighting, new baseboards, tile lobby, new paint .. and we had a GC that was not available immediately, but would be ready to go some months later, as this was large scale and required their ultimate focus. All the while communicating, timing of the flooring order, and further discussion with the GC. The project finally got going, the pieces of the puzzle all came together, and the project was perfect, we had the correct amount of product from CARPET ONE, we economized with different material in the stairwells, Mike recommended we put stair caps on the the edge of each stair, so that the there were no tears 5-10 years down the road. Great idea!! The tile he recommended in conjunction with the main carpet in the hall was very contemporary, and will stay in style for years. IT LOOKS GREAT!!! Now a few years have passed since we did this project, and everything, CARPET ONE said was true, the carpet still looks amazing as it did the day it went in, It is so durable, and fashionable. I haven't fallen off the turnip truck yesterday. I have seen carpets in rental buildings, then I have carpets in rental buildings, these, for the record have stood up remarkably well. Now we could have been jammed into some "deal" by some other "vendor" with "inferior product" then replace in 10 years, but we didnt, we got the BEST from the BEST. and will look great in 25 years The other thing I would like to mention, that is unknown, is the class and charisma of this group of individuals at CARPET ONE. This process took nearly a year to put together, there were many phone calls between the parties, suppliers, client, GC and of course the courteous staff at TIP TOP CARPET ONE. Everyone felt like they were top priority, every step of the way, the customer service was excellent. Everything was in place, everything was the way it should have been. The experience was exceptional. I have more stories to relay, but I will start with this one first I highly recommend TIP TOP CARPET ONE, give them a call , no matter how big or small your job is. These guys have you "covered"
