Dawson was the salesperson on my last purchase. He also has carpet laying experience. Anyway, everything went smoothly, and on time and in budget. I was particularly happy that I didn't have to hire a seperate worker to remove doors and baseboards in preperation. The layer there handled that, as part of the regular installation. They also had to upholster carpet onto an opening bench window seat. That takes more skill and they pulled it off, no problem. Good inventory there too. I stick to the Nylon choices for cut pile carpets, so the fibers are less prone to matting down in the traffic areas.

But, according to great floors, (the property management had used this particular company to do an inspection after I had moved out) there were a lot of pet stains and almost $1,000 was deducted from my deposit to replace the carpet. I'm finally getting around to writing this review about a month and a half after the work was completed, and I just got off the phone with Jose a few minutes ago. We thought a shut off valve had been covered by the flooring, but it turned out the installer had done skilled craftmanship to cover the valve while still leaving easy access to it. The process of discovery, planning, costing, scheduling and finally installation are always executed in great detail. The stores are loaded with great samples and if you desire something A product that isn't on hand they will procure it and ship it to you if needed. Lastly, with as many projects as I have worked on there will be a small percentage of warranty work. This typically is a manufacturing defect or some other issue that mars the beauty of the work. There has never been a hesitation to make it right in the few instances this has happened. Overall you will be kicking yourself if you go to one of the other stores or the big box store in town and not Floors Plus. Highly recommend!

I finally drove 30 minutes to the store on a Thursday to get an appointment. Sara was there and had an excuse, saying she was going to call me on Monday. Ummm... too busy to look at the scheduling calendar, make a call and get a date on the calendar with a client? Dale came to measure and sent a proposal that afternoon. After looking at the proposal, I noticed they had used my sister-in-law's address in Seattle as the ship to/install. I'm in Skagit County. I wrote back to Dale, copying Sara, asking them to switch the address to mine. Dale said he would, but that it would change the sales tax amount. Unsure why that would be an issue as it would come out in my favor... Skagit county sales tax is much less than King County. I am yet to receive the revised proposal even though I have called a few times requesting that it be done. Has been one month since Dale measured for carpeting. I can't imagine they are so busy that they can't get into a proposal and change the address and resend it in an email to me. The dismissive behavior by Sara and lack of follow up on both their parts has me incredibly disappointed. I will never shop at Great floors in Burlington. I suggest you don't either. Yes they can give you great prices but I don't think it's worth it in the long run. Many other places have wonderful flooring in the area and they can come very close to their prices.

They work very closely with insurance, and nowhere in their information pamphlet does it say we believe in treating our customer with respect and dignity, or we believe customer service is top priority , or something along those lines.They will however give you attitude and will make every excuse in telling you why they are right and you are not. It reflects the type of business and the direction of this company. The only time they mention anything about the customer is when they find out what your insurance will allow or before any work can begin payment is required in full. That's when they pay attention to you. Greedy people" gimme gimme my money", how pathetic. This is how you've built your business. Does your business reputation require you to call your clients out on their honesty and integrity, after all we were referred to you and all we wanted was a quote for extra work which we got only after you brought my wife to tears.
