We had purchased a home built in the late 70's that really hadn't been touched since. The popcorn on the vaulted ceilings needed to be removed and the interior needed to be repainted. As we got going, we found we also needed new floors throughout, new kitchen cabinets...lots of recessed lighting and as things got going...a skylight had managed to leak down between the wall and rot out a large area of the exterior kitchen support. (this wasn't detected by two separate home inspections, but Wolf Quality Construction was on it!) Oh, and when it really started raining, we found the deck sloped back to the house and water was pooling up next to the foundation. What a mess! To make a long story short, Wolf Quality Construction was able to help us as each new disaster unfolded. This is the third house we've remodeled and I can tell you, their work is awesome! Almost better than the quality of their work is their commitment to making good on all of their estimated costs and time lines. Because this was a long distance move for us...we really needed much of the job completed in just 6 weeks. These men came in early and left late many, many days to help us out; even working around other commitments. PROS + Mike tries to address the cause of the problem. I have lost a total of 7 fence posts in the past 5 years because they rot. Mike used the Rotbloc Wrap to prevent the posts from rotting under the ground. + Mike was able to give me a free estimate and repaired my face. There were delays but he did it in the end. I tried to get a quote from big names in town, but I couldn't. CONS -Both times when I hired Mike, there was a problem with details, some big, some small. First time (2019), his crew fixed my fence but didn't do a good job. He had to come back to fix it himself. Second time (2021), I notice that one of the posts was longer and a few of them were shorter than other posts. He fixed the post that was too long, but there was nothing that could be done with the two posts that are too short (by about 6 inches). ADVICE *Make sure to inspect the site when they are done to make sure everything looks good. *Get quotes from other contractors. I found out later that a Yelper friend of mine in town hired a different contractor and paid less than half of what I paid. I could be comparing apples and oranges, but both he and I had 4 posts replaced in January 2021. Send me a private message if you want to know who my Yelp friend used. *Pay cash/check. There's a 3.9% processing fee for credit card payments. Overall, I'm happy with M & M, and I think I will use them again. Yes, it's taking a lot longer than anticipated, but there has been issues that have been out of their control. Such as supply delays, and pouring rain in which some products can not be applied. They completely covered the work areas with strong tarps that even held up against the destructive winds we had in early December. And yes, they have been working with wind and rain and inside the tarps in the freezing cold every day. The crew works full days Monday through Friday unless they have a delay in product or sub contractors. The crew has been extremely polite, cooperative and do they talk? Yes, of course, but unless it's their lunch break, the talking has been about the progress and how to go about it..
