He took wonderful care of us and was very attentive without being intrusive and was just very kind. The food was amazing, as always! I got the salmon piccata, my husband got the Diavola pizza and we shared the Tomatoes Vesta appetizer. Literally all of it was soooo good. We got their maple bacon cannoli to take home and ate those later - literal perfection! The only downside to the whole evening was the hostess. She was not very nice and to be honest, we almost left and went somewhere else because of her. BUT, I'm still giving the experience 5 stars - the food is just too good and our server went above and beyond to make up for the hostess and make sure we had a wonderful evening!

They also liked the fact that they got to take some home, but this is a college town and who doesn't like to take home pizza. Just saying. I would come back to this place in a heartbeat and get the salmon again. Since I am celiac, I couldn't get the pasta so I just put it on vegetables, but it was really good I might get an appetizer next time. The place was actually kind of small and not that many tables. He's very attentive, professional and works flawlessly in the dining room . Though on Sundays , it's the special "all you can eat spaghetti with meatballs . I love spaghetti . I've been dining in on Sundays for the spaghetti special every three weeks or so . The first time was awesome.., I ate two full servings of spaghetti with meatballs. Making a note that the second serving only came with one meatball instead of two . I honestly can't eat more than two servings in one sitting . The restaurant does allow you to take home your last serving whether it's your second or third serving. This is all great except the inconsistency about the servings... there is not enough spaghetti on the plate but a lot of marinara sauces. The two meatballs only served on the first plate . Your second serving or third for take home only comes with one meatball . This is entirely inadequate and makes me wonder why the kitchen staff would serve this spaghetti with only one meatball when a loyal diner like myself would especially ordered the spaghetti on Sunday's special all you can eat . It's just a principle to be mindful to your customers expectations. Let them eat spaghetti to all their heart content.., two meatballs per servings as expected!!!. I will be dining in on a Sunday from time to time and hopefully my spaghetti will be adequately served with two meatballs per servings.

Diners seemed more affluent and menu prices on higher side. Our kids unfortunately didn't like the grilled cheese probably because it wasn't highly processed or buttered which is a good thing nor the mandarin oranges it came with. Kids were likely overstimulated from our travels. I did try their foods and could see why they didn't take to it at first. Didn't taste bad by any means. Husband liked his sandwich the Lennie Original that has roast beef, bacon, lettuce, mayo, marinated red onions, tomato, and mozzarella on house bread. I opted for the soup of the day, the Hungarian Mushroom soup, never having something like that before. It was a smidge heavy on the salt for me but again I'm sensitive to salt having cutting it down in my diet. It was a very flavorful soup with dill and other seasonings. The salad didn't really do much for me except help me feel like I was getting fiber into my diet. Overall the vibe and service would bring me back to try more. Their drink menu certainly looked interesting featuring local Bloomington Brewing Company drinks.
