Always a sweet treat Order by app is always faster and easier than in store. You can collect points too

Coconut matcha

Wow, I didn't think I'd like matcha and coconut juice together, but this is so refreshing on a hot day! My parents said the line is usually out the door, but between the kiosk and the counter, it moved fast and this drink was prepped within just a couple mins. I didn't hang around the cafe, but it was buzzing with energy.

This coffeeshop originated in SoCal so I was excited to try it. When I walked in on a weekday evening, there were some guests sitting and chatting. The vibe is calm, great for working or meeting up. I made an online order, so I got my drink immediately when I arrived. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee, which had a sweet flavor that I liked. Overall, the shop is clean and has fast pick-up.

Matcha Cream Coffee with 30% sweetness
Chantel M.

Came here in the morning and the line wasn't too bad! I tried Da Vien in SoCal and was so excited that one opened up in NorCal!! The drink was perfectly sweet at 30% with strong coffee flavor. The matcha cream really adds dimension to the drink! Since it's viet coffee, I did feel overly caffeinated but in a good way. I really needed it this Friday morning!! I'll definitely be back to try their other drinks soon!!

Was so excited to find out that there was a davien in the bay!! I've had da vien in socal and i can say the recipe is consistent here. Honestly cant go wrong with any of the drinks, but fav is def the ube cream coffee. Staff works quick to get your drinks out, never had to wait too long. There's some seatings, and it's a decent study spot, but bc it faces the sun during the evening it can get rlly sunny and hot if you study there! You can order on the kiosk in store or with a staff at the register; they also have an app so it's convenient to order ahead. Free plaza parking, and theres a bathroom in shop!

Banana latte and sesame latte
Berlyn D.

First time coming here, a lot of my friends recommend this! I got the black sesame it was strong but good! My friend got the banana pudding I believe but I like that the most! I usually don't like coffee with banana, but this one hit different! I love it!! Service was fast even though there's a lot of people ordering. The cashier was able to help me out choosing a drink. Great customer service! The place is clean, plenty of chairs. Great to hang out with friends!

Cookie Butter Matcha Latte ($7)
Michelle C.

I'd suggest ordering ahead on their website as it can get crowded and parking can be a little tough. I was quoted 10 min on a Saturday afternoon but it was ready sooner than that. Tried the new Cookie Butter Matcha Latte ($7) and thought it was really good. Once mixed together, the sweetness level was more balanced. The matcha could be a tad stronger but Da Vien is definitely one of the better cafes out there. They also use small crunchy ice!

It was just ok for me! Was missing the creamyness that I like about ice coffee. It's still good has strong coffee taste just need it to be more creamy.

My coworker introduced me to this coffee shop, and oh my gosh, Da Vien Coffee is so good! The coffee is soooo strong, not too sweet, and creamy. The drinks are so addicting they will definitely keep you awake! This location is pretty busy, and they have a long line, but you can also order online and just pick up your drinks. It's a bit crowded. Although they have tables and chairs, it's definitely a busy coffee shop. The place is also clean and organized. The staff are nice and friendly. I highly recommend this coffee shop!

Always excited to try Da Vien's new series, especially when it's BOGO! This time I tried the Cookie Butter, and of course, I wasn't disappointed. I always get 30% sweet and less ice, and it's always the perfect balance for me. What I love most is that BOGO has become a little bonding tradition with my teen son. Even better now that Da Vien has finally made it to our very own town! My other son, who goes to school in SoCal, is always telling us how much better the drinks are down there, so I'm glad we finally got a little taste of SoCal here. Definitely happy they made their way up!

Egg cream coffee

I love getting Da Vien when I'm in OC, so I was pumped when they opened shop in Milpitas even though this plaza is kinda the worst. When this plaza is busy, parking can be annoying. Besides that, this location is clean, spacious, and filled with people studying, catching up, or coming in/out to get their mobile orders. Mobile ordering for Da Vien is definitely my go-to since it can get pretty hectic inside. It's also a plus to have the app since there are always BOGO deals on lattes and points to collect! I love the egg cream coffee here, but I do have to adjust the amount of cream or sweetness cos it can be too sweet sometimes. I haven't tried the matcha here so I won't comment on it, but it sounds like it often tastes watered down. I think it's worth it for Bay Area folks to try Da Vien!

ube coffee + banana matcha
Brenda L.

10/10 on coffees and matchas here! I've been to Da Vien's location in the OC, so I was super excited to hear they were opening up in the Bay Area. I ordered online via their app and picked it up about 10-15 minutes later -- our drinks were ready by the time we arrived! I tried the Ube Coffee and the Banana Matcha Latte, and both were SO good. Their drinks are strong and generously made. With ube drinks, I find it can be hit or miss, since the ube flavor is often lackluster -- but they do it right here! The Banana Matcha Latte, on the other hand, was good but not the best I've had. I regret not adding banana cream to it, because I think that would've made a big difference. It gets busy here so definitely would recommend ordering online!! Lots of parking (can be busy) and seating inside.

Coconut matcha w shot of matcha
Mimi D.

Review on the coconut matcha only: So yum!! I got 75% sweet but I couldve gotten 50%. I added a shot of matcha and if u like something like pennywort, u would love this! Grassy, refreshing. Not the best matcha cream top but still adds richness to the drink. Service was fast. Parking was surprisingly not full that day!

With that in mind, with the decor and the aesthetics in here, I would recommend dining in over grabbing a drink order and doing a to go because I think that's where their strengths are. Would be cute for photo backdrops or to catch up with some tea and some tea with the buddies. For our brunch/late breakfast order, we got the: 1) Corn Milk with Pandan Jelly (less ice, less sugar): -Even with these adjustments it was still quite sweet, I'm not sure if it was from the run off from the jelly. I think if I was going to order it again, I'd get it with no sugar and just go with whatever natural sweetness the corn and the jelly would add in normally. -Only other place I've seen corn milk at was Unu Cafe in SoCal, but this one was a bit too sweet in comparison. I'll keep that in mind for future orders. Panda jelly was pretty good though. 2) Salted Hojicha (less ice, no sugar): -Creamy and milky, the saltiness added an extra depth of flavor. Ordering it at zero sweetness, again was a very good call, because my boyfriend who is intolerant to anything sweet said this made him ill because it was too sweet?? It ended up being my drink in the end and it was not bad overall. 3) Smoked Ham & Swiss Cheese Pockets: -Imagine those Pillsbury Crescent rolls but with smoked ham and Swiss cheese inside. Simple, delicious, and note bad for breakfast. 4) Dubai Chocolate Cake: -Our friend ended up eating this as his dessert and said it was overall okay, though a tad dry. 5) Smoked Bacon Egg & Cheese Croissant: -It's a normal breakfast croissant. Nothing to write home about. I don't mind trying this place again, just as a sit down restaurant.

Speedy, efficient service with a smile and since it was Memorial Day weekend, the ambiance to the cafe was already quite lively and bustling with customers. Very clean and modern inside with plenty of seating and there's outdoor patio seating too, which is quite nice on a sunny, mild weather day. For our brunch we got the: 1) Chicken Pate Chaud: -One of my favorite pastries and truly the pinnacle of "Asian fusion" if you think about it. -Flaky, delicate exterior. Moist, slightly chewy give to the interior, along with the tender, chicken inside. Good stuff each time you get it, just a bit messy to eat with the flakes coming off with each bite. 2) Pandan Waffle: -Not as flavorful as I would have liked, but it' hits the spot and it's a simple snack item. Edge was a bit crispy but it was a bit soggier in the middle than what I would have liked. 3) Instant Noodle: -Actually this was just an instant noodle cup but it was for a brand that I have never tried before, so that was okay in my book at least. Ordered this not entirely sure what to expect, but if I truly knew what it was, I don't think I'd get it again. But I did enjoy it in the following week later on. I love instant noodles, so not bad! 4) Coconut Bun: -Very coconut-y. But a bit dry, so I'd skip in the future. 5) Ham & Egg Cheese Bun: -Got this for a friend and he said it was alright. 6) Matcha Banana Foam: -I got this less sweet, less ice and with soy milk. -Even with less sweet this was pretty sweet from the banana foam. It's alright, but is nowhere near as good as Airoma's or Da Vien's. 7) Black Coffee: -I ordered this with no sugar and a cream egg. Cream egg definitely made it a twinge sweeter, but my boyfriend said it was overall okay. I don't mind coming back to sit in and dine in here in the future.
