TLDR: Long lines even at opening, customizable options but consistently good!…read more Can't say I haven't had authentic acai up until this point. For some reason, I totally forgot that good acai could be found in Hawaii!! Hello!! Its not just the fresh fish ya'll I walked here and there was still a line by 7, and even longer one when I went the next day, but it does move quite fast, especially with some of the workers letting people know they have a sit down resturant next door so just food for thought if you want more actual food options! As it stands they have quite an extensive list of juice, coffee, acai. I decided to go with a more basic route but instead subbing my fruit for what was in season which was mango, lilikoi and lychee. You order at the front and they call your number. They have some seating around as well but if you're at the hawaiian center you can just sit downstairs. The fruit alone was out of this world. I was actually so focused on that I wasn't even thinking about if the acai was good which I think it was! It comes out rather creamy, not frozen or icy. The price is a little steeper than what I've had in the past but honestly the fresh fruit alone made it extremely worth it. A regular sized bowl was quite filling! I came back the next day and it was still just as good. I know some people probably prefer different locations than others but I can rep this one for sure. Its in a very touristy place, maybe even the mecca so if you want to avoid that then avoid any location in waikiki

My friend and I really liked it. We also got the açaí bowl with passion fruit which was delicious but a tiny bit too sweet for us. They have seating out front and it's a super casual spot.

Upon longer inspection, it was Aquaman Lobo himself... theeeee Jason Mamoa! How's that?! I could not believe what I was Bae Watching! I'm going all fan girl in da inside while everyone in line was being super polite not harrassing him for autographs and photos... The girl in back of me thought I was probably creepy and checking her goodies out ... psh you wish. I told her that Jason Mamoa was behind her and he just left... She was like "who?" Then I said Aquaman!!! and she got all excited and wanted to see him. Too late.... He was gone! While sipping my coffee it dawned on me... no one recognized him was cuz they were all international tourists looking at their phones. Auwe!

A itty bitty oat milk latte is $7.25 and an americano is $5.25. The drinks were okay but not worth the rudeness of the staff. The place is super busy so I get stress levels may be high. One worker tells us to stand on the other side of the store to wait for our drinks but she was putting out the drinks on the counter on the opposite side. Then another worker tells us to move so she could use a mop to wipe the condensation from the ac vents in the ceiling. Meanwhile who knows what was falling into our drinks and pastries directly below. Hard pass for Kona Coffee Purveyors. There are plenty of other coffee shops nearby. The two stars is generous for this business.

A cozy corner in the heart of Kaimuki :)…read more I happened to find this place when I was searching for cafes around the area, and it did not disappoint. Honey Matcha Latte is my current favorite: just the right balance of matcha, milk and honey :) The vibes are so nice. You'll be greeted by the green green plants (which are actually for sale!), and then grab a drink down the hall. I also like how they have a "Sip & Chill Zone" where no ipads or computer work are allowed, so you can just relax and talk story. This is my favorite spot because I can just do some people watching by the window as I sip my matcha latte. It's a nice place to detach from the hustle even just for a while.

All the seating was very close so it was distracting to hear sooo many conversations and different volume levels. I wish the space was more comfortable with cushioned or relaxing chairs/seating and more spacious. The decorations were beautiful and the plants in the front were so lovely.

Hello Again is a cute little spot in Chinatown that's perfect for a quick matcha pick-me-up,…read morewhether you need to get some work done or just relax after strolling the neighborhood. They have small tables and cubicle-style setups with charging ports, so it's easy to settle in, sip, and work if you want. I came mainly to unwind and try a few of their matcha drinks. The banana bread latte is one I personally like, and the haupia matcha has a nice coconut kick. The ube matcha latte was just okay--the matcha overpowered the ube and the flavor kind of drifted. Not sure if the powder was a bit heavy that day or if the water temperature played a role, but I wouldn't order that one again. There are still other flavors I haven't tried, plus milk alternatives like oat milk available. A fun touch is the cameras they place on the tables so you can snap photos of your drink, yourself, friends, or whatever. Just know they may post some of the pics on their social media from time to time--it's a cute way to bring the community together. Hours are short, so check their socials before heading over. Overall, I love the aesthetic of the café and the matcha is decent for a quick fix. I'd definitely come back.

Super late review -…read more I'm sad. I really wanted to love this place but I just couldn't. I don't want to be that person when this place has an overall rating of 4.5 but this is just my honest opinion. I got the blue dream and yes it was very ascetically pleasing, but it was just too icy. Before coming to this place i read a couple of reviews that also said the same thing and i didn't understand what that meant, but now I do. There are a lot of flavorless, just regular, small shards of ice in the bowl. On top of that, the moment I received my bowl, it was already borderline melted. So that got me thinking, how can it be melted and icy at the same time? The only explanation that I can think of is just ice additive/fillers. It's not pure cold acai or whatever is in the bowl you choose, but there's a mixture of ice in it too. Yes I understand, it's Waikiki, everything is more expensive, but the added topping prices on top of the already expensive bowl prices just don't make sense. You want a beautiful looking bowl with a lot of different toppings, yet some toppings can go up to 1 dollar PER topping. I don't know if I've just been spoiled by a couple places in SoCal, but at those places they have unlimited toppings and those bowls are the best that there is. I'm not bringing any bias from other locations, but this is just an honest review based on my experience today.
