I went to the one on cermak! Fire ! Such an unexpected surprise on a Friday night dinner. Lively atmosphere- simple food ingredients- but fresh, and flavors play off each other ! The presentation is sleek- and sophisticated. So pleasantly surprised. Definitely will return

This was such a cute little find. The decor is amazing for photo ops. Staff was friendly and very helpful with providing me suggestions for drink and food choices. I started out with the Cafe de olla which is one of their specialty coffees (very unique delicious taste and not too sweet). My meal was the french toast 3 leches(soooo good ) and my hubby had the steak and eggs which came with a nice green sauce. Everything was excellent. I cannot wait to go back to try more of their menu items. I left this spot all smiles. I would definitely recommend this spot. Ps... there is paid street parking, however I went on a Sunday so parking was free.

    Plastic in my burger

I found plastic in my burger and the restaurant only wanted to offer 50 percent off my meal or a new burger. I was almost done with my food when I realized there was something hard in my mouth. They proceeded to charge me and over charge me to stuff I didn't even receive. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and for the price of the food it is not worth going to it. The food overall was dry and overpriced.

The café de olla here is my favorite. Today however I got the classic cheeseburger. I loved the fries. The service was fast. We arrived around 2 pm and got seated promptly. The music they were playing made the ambiance feel authentic.

    Cafe De Olla

Best cafe de olla I've ever had! Food was delicious, and the atmosphere here was great. Brenda, our server, was very attentive and friendly. Our chilaquiles were very tasty, had a kick but not too spicy. Everything was great!

Okay so I went to the location in Berwyn and although I thought it was too expensive at least it was good. Today we came to celebrate my friends birthday and it was terrible service. We all ordered cafe de olla, (supposed to be warm) and it was cold. We kindly asked the waitress if we can get it warmed up since it was cold, and she touched the coffee and said no it feels warm. At that point we asked for a new coffee because GERMS!! She still seemed bothered by it, but did bring us new coffee ?? I orders the chilaquiles with bistec. The chilaquiles were lacking flavor, and the bistec was way too over done. The crepas were a good dessert. I will definitely not be coming back.

I hate to leave a Negative Review but i had too, As you can see the Outside window Says BYOB and we walked in and once we ordered Food our Server said we are No Longer BYOB even tho it's Literally on the Windows. So we couldn't drink the stuff we had with us. then we Searched the Website and IG and it said Buy a Burger and Get a Free Beer so we Did and the Waiter said no it's only for Happy Hour and i Showed him from Instagram Post and website it says All Day M-F and Him Feeling salty because either he got caught on a lie or just didn't know himself just Stayed Quiet and Said What Beer would you like so we got it. Third the Server we didn't get his Name but he did have a Tattoo on his Neck that's all Me and My Wife Remember, not only did he Showed that he was ok with lying to us but after he brought the beer he did not come back for anything else not even for water refills .. He had another Great Waitress take care of us and she was 100 times better... Food Was Great 8/10 Service and Advertising is Questionable 2/10

I love coming here with my mom! It's our go to spot for sure. And they always have the cutest decorations for holidays. Food is consistent and they have great customer service. A little on the pricey side but I will say I always have a positive experience here!

A señora took care of us. She was the most patient and sweet lady. This place is very small and don't have any music so it feels kinda awkward. The food is delicious a bit over priced to be located in that area.

    Tempura tacos
    Pedro G.

I have mixed feelings about this place. We came for a late breakfast but they stop serving breakfast at 1pm. The food taste fine. It was brought out pretty quickly but this place smells like strong adhesive. I asked for no onions on my club sandwich and it was still served with onions. I know these things happen but this place is not busy. It's 2pm and we were one of three tables with customers, mistakes like these shouldn't happen. The waitress never came to ask how the food/everything was after our food was brought to us. And cutting off the breakfast at a certain time I thought was for busy places in order to keep the cooking easy for the cooks. I don't know, but I honesty think I won't be coming back. It's also overpriced. I know everything's gone up but $20 for a three taco dinner that only comes with rice and pico de gallo? No beans? I'll pass

Time to be seated was less than five minutes for a party of four around 2:20 PM on a Sunday; busier times or days enforce their 90 minute time limit policy per table. The food was well seasoned, wish I tasted it a little more on the meat itself, yet all the vegetables tasted crisp and fresh. If you are looking to have intimate conversations be prepared to speak a lot louder, the DJ booth by the front keeps it pretty lively, but difficult to hold conversations across the table. Open authentic Mexican soda is always refreshing, and if you're looking for a place that has soft serve margaritas this is one of them. If you notice and unusual wait time or slow service please make your choice accordingly as I started to notice it was a case by case basis like some of the previous reviews had mentioned.

My favorite was the margarita because it was a little savory. I also got the milk punch which was so good! Probably one of the best I've had. To eat, we ordered the fire fried chicken, late night smash burger, and side of yucca fries. Everything was delicious. The burger is definitely a hidden gem! It was amazing. And the chicken was fried perfectly crispy. For dessert, we got both options: the chocolate strawberry sundae and the coconut tres leches. Both were great and I had difficultly choosing my favorite!

I must admit that I had low expectations because quite frankly, I have not enjoyed Mexican food outside of Mexico or California. However, we were hungry, and it was near where we were staying, so I decided we should check it out, and I am so glad we did! The food was great. Both adults and the VERY picky children in our group all enjoyed our meals. I ordered the green chicken enchiladas and the other adult ordered a chile relleno combo, which I also got to try. Everything was delicious and devoured by all! We were so full but the owner talked us into the chocoflan, and we did not regret trying it. It was soooo good! Speaking of the owner, the service was great. We really enjoyed how he and the rest of the staff were very courteous. It is a small establishment, and it gets a good amount of people, so I assume that there are waits during peak hours. I highly recommend Sabroso!
