Don't let the location full you, this place is a hidden gem if I can give 10 stars I would. Amazing chilequiles de mole (its up there with my tia luchas mole lol seriously though) everything we ordered tasted fresh and was bursting with natural flavor, from the strawberry milkshake to the mushroom and spinach omlette, it was all good I'm definitely coming back here. read more

This location has horrible service, no one is attentive the person you get only takes your order and then completely forgets about you. The team needs more education on how to run a restaurant and how to be more ethical. I see how the gossip amongst each other instead of asking costumers if everything is okay. I've waited one hour so I could just The coffee I ordered. They forget! There is another location in Pilsen and the service and customer care does not compare to this location! read more

Best Chilaquiles in Chicago. We always get the mole with chicken chilaquiles, the verde with steak, or the cordobesa (chipotle & sour cream) with chorizo. We don't like the adobados. read more

This place has really gone downhill. I remember the staff was nicer and pleasant. The place has been remodeled to fit a bigger crowd. When it was a way smaller place . It was understandable to sit where available. Today the place is much bigger, almost empty. I kindly asked to sit by the window. As it was again almost empty . I was told no . I came in hopes to have their delicious chilaquiles and was told no. Not available after 1pm . I was offered alternative dish with chilaquiles with the price tag of $35. I would before rave about this restaurant. I never really minded the overpriced menu . It was well worth it. But, today I was in complete shock . Cannot have a side of cream for coffee. I asked for a side of cream . I was told no. I was told a regular cup of coffee (not the café de olla) had to be prepared in the back . Everywhere you go, You get your cup of coffee and cream, sugar on the side to prepare to your liking . This was extremely disappointing. read more

Great staff and quick service, even when it's busy they keep up. Place seems Lowkey too. Would recommend for breakfast especially. Love the Crepés. read more

When we first arrived it was packed but didn't see anyone waiting, no one was in the front counter so we waited by the registered for a little under 5 minutes. Apparently there was a long waitlist but everyone is waiting in the back. Waiting was about 15 minutes which was not too bad considering how many people were waiting. When we were called we were going to be seated at a 6 person table when there was a 2 person table available. We ask to be seated there so a bigger group could be seated sooner but no they seated two people instead of a bigger group. Which is fair because they go by the waitlist but it is not strategic. Ok let's get to the food, I had the Chicken Chipotle Panini, which was so flavorful and juicy, I choice the strawberry salad as my side and was so glad I did because it went so well with the panini and was not like other restaurants side salads it had strawberry's, walnuts and cranberries, I was expecting lettuce and one strawberry so happy to be wrong. I would like to come back but hope the wait does not discourage me. read more

Visiting the windy city and came here. Was recommended to us. We wanted breakfast at 3pm and we got it. My kids got waffles and a chocolate shake. I made my own omelet. My husband got chilaquiles. Food was excellent and inexpensive. Everything is freshly made even their sauce for the chilaquiles. Can't beat that!!! You must try their own coffee (has cinnamon in it). It was delicious! Service was friendly and on point. Small mom and pop place, not crowded. We would definitely recommend!!! read more

I loved their primavera Salad . Good comfy place and good healthy and unhealthy options depending on how you're feeling

I've dined here quite a bit for lunch (both take out and eat in) when working in the neighborhood for three years. The food is fantastic & fresh. The one drawback is that it can be slow if you have a lunch hour and they are busy. The other is they sometimes run out of things or ingredients, which I completely understand because they make everything fresh. Their omelets are particularly fantastic. read more

Wow! 9 years living in Brighton Park and I never knew about this restaurant! I always tough that was closed! Today, My husband & I decided to try their food... O-M-G!!! Good food. But the service is horrible. 5 waitresses for 10 tables. Took 15 minutes to get a menu. 40 minutes to get food and they bring the wrong order. The only explanation they had was they were training one girl. Food is great but service is very poor. read more

I came in to eat with two of my friends and was told we would be seated next . After waiting 15 to 20 minutes another 3 Ladies walked in who started talking to one of the waitress and where seated quickly. Delicious crepes (D'nuez crepes). Love the filling and all the fruit that comes with it and how small it's diced enjoyed the cafe de olla but those crepes, wow ..... the same price as anywhere else you go and order crepes or breakfast food. Loved it! read more

I Was told 20 minute wait for 5 people. An hour later they sat 4 groups after us and still waiting to be seated. Their biggest tables accomodate 4 people, instead of joining 2 tables or doing any kind of effort to accomodate us, they kept seating groups after us. Once it was brought to their attention they even seemed bothered. dont reccomend in a group more than 5 read more

I've only had their delicious crepes but the family decided to have dinner here. This place is awesome! Delicious mango chicken/steak with a strawberry salad was mouth watering. We also ordered the chicken alambre and melon/pina water, yummy! I regret not taking pics to show how great the food looked and tasted. I'll definitely continue to come. I'm gonna try the panini sandwiches, wings, and pasta next. If your expecting pacos tacos or gallos prices then your in the wrong place. This place has comparable prices to Tio luis except much more modern twist and beautiful presentation! read more

Delicious and perfect strawberry salad . I loved it!

The food is good but they have the worst customer service I've experienced. Not one server attended us after being seated. Had to call a server In order to place our order. I had to ask 4 times for the check and still had to wait 30 minutes. read more

I've given this place the benefit of the doubt every single time I dine. Every single time I always say the same thing . Overpriced food and TERRIBLE service . I mean the service is as bad as it gets . I was there today after a year and I'm still very disappointed . We asked our server for a couple things , things we never received . She got our order and completely forgot about us . Things need to change for the better . read more

Does not look appealing on the outside & is somewhat small in the inside but the delicious food definitely makes up for that! If you have to choose totally op for Mole Chilaquiles !! First time coming here and we are never going back. When we got here there wasn't a lot of tables. Our food came out and quickly left on the table. They never asked if we needed anything and when we tried getting our servers attention she kept moving leaving to the back or pretending to do something else. Point is we never receive utensils napkins nor ketchup for our fries. I had to eat my French toast (which is just toasted bread with Nutella drizzled on top) with my fingers. read more

My son took me to this restaurant because chilaquiles was one of their specialties and he wanted to surprise me . He knew how much I love chilaquiles. Oh boy if I was disappointed when I ordered them and asked if they come with the traditional beans. The waitress said "we don't work with beans". I was like "okay" I no beans? Really? Red Chilaquiles were alright, however; I looked at my sons plate with mole chilaquiles and he had barely tasted them. I asked him why he said "the mole tasted awful, so I went ahead and tasted it and it tasted very very sweet. I have tasted many kinds of moles before but never tasted one like this. It tasted like hot sauce with lots of sugar. Not a chance, I will be coming back. read more

It was delicious!! I'm so happy that I found this little gem..I'm not sure how long it's been there but I wish I had found out about this place sooner! The enchiladas Rojas were spicy but not tooo spicy. Nice bold flavors. I also recommend the French toast and the cafe de olla. read more

I've had the enchiladas and crepes so far and they have tasted delicious! My favorite brunch restaurant in Brighton park.

Cozy place, brought my daughters here for the first time. Cafe de olla was on point along with decent portions of food. Haven't had a bad meal here yet! Burgers are juicy, sandwiches are yummy and on hearty multigrain bread, pancakes are light and fluffy with tons of fruit and the salads are fresh and filling.
