If u want a 3 in 1, poor quality nails, poor quality experience and waste a whole bunch of unnecessary money then this is the place to go!!! I'm writing on yelp because I want to inform others to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I came to this location on Northpoint Parkway two weeks ago, I called before I came and asked for a full set of acrylic French tip. The lady on the phone said it was going to be $50 so I made an appointment I walked in there and shown her (older lady with shoulder length short dark brown hair) what I wanted (first photo) and she said it was gonna be $50. I showed the tech the photo which she looked at it 1ce and never again. They didn't even ask me to wash my hands before I got my nails done, they wanted me to just sit down in the chair so I washed my hands on my own because it's sanitary and what should be done first! Right off the bat I knew it was about to be a bad experience. As I'm getting my nails done, they start charging me an extra five dollars for French (which was already included in the 50$) then another five because they had to "draw it on" and on top of that 15 EXTRA DOLLARS because of the shape which was STILL THE 50$ quote when I showed them the shape in the photo!!! And she did the nail completely wrong!!!! It's a simple French nail! I do it on my own nails and they look better than this! I told the tech I'm hard on my nails and if the acrylic can thick, got completely ignored and now I have thin acrylic nails and had a nail fall of the next day!!!! The acrylic is uneven, the design and shape is completely wrong and they still scammed me $25 extra! $75 on an agreed up $50. They wouldn't even fix it when asked! What kind of place like this does business? U can get better out of ur money somewhere else! read more

Tim was excellent and attentive and gentle. Sanitation was front and center. He wore gloves and a mask and had the bowl covered in plastic to soak my feet. I have been here many times and the experience is always pleasant. The Deluxe Pedicure with the gel polish is beyond a bargain. It comes with the gel polish and paraffin treatment. I was just passing by as I was on a trip and wanted to get a manicure really badly. Surprisingly, this place provided excellent customer service to me as a walk in as it seemed they had the staff available. They're definitely not a normally high capacity place it seems but their workers will put their all into doing whatever it is is asked of them, even the trainee, Linh, was doing pretty good and I received an excellent massage from her. On a tip from a friend, I walked in over my lunch break and was lucky enough to be seated right away. I opted for a spa pedicure with regular polish and SNS nails ($74 before tip). The nail techs were friendly and did a great job - very quick and efficient but I also felt that they were very careful and considerate of my comfort, especially with cutting cuticles, etc. Will absolutely be back. Came in on a friend's recommendation, and so glad I did! Kristy did my gel manicure, and Justin took care of my pedicure, both of which were perfect. Kristy was great at recommending gel and regular polish that would work together, so I let her do her thing. I liked a dark blue grey, but wanted something a little different, because I always wind up doing the same sort of thing. She picked a couple of glitters that she mixed together to get a unique look for my manicure that was still understated, exactly as I requested. The manicure itself was also perfect- nice and clean with no nips at the cuticle or anything. Justin's pedicure was great- excellent at a nice deep clean of the nail bed but no pain at all. Great strong foot massage and scrub as well, and again, perfectly painted nails. No polish pooling at the cuticles on either hands or feet. At $47 total, I felt like this was a great service for a reasonable price. read more

Let me start off by saying, this is partially my fault b/c i usually do extensive research before picking a salon out. But today I was at North point mall around 4 pm when i received a call for a job interview tomorrow. So thats great!! Bad news...my eyebrows and nails are NOT interview ready. So what does a gal gotta do? I quickly find the closest nail salon, which happens to be D Nails. Im on a time crunch, so i was happy to find something really close. I go in, the staff was friendly. I ask for eyebrow waxing, full set acyrillic and a pedi. There were good and bad aspects of all 3 so i broke them out; Pedicure: i had a guy give me a pedi while i had a mani so the service was quick. But good lord the guy was rough! On my feet it was ok, manageable but on my poor toes, he was unnecessarily rough, despite me telling him to ease up. He actually made mg big toe on both feet bleed, which hurt a bit. He apologized, i get it that things happen. But you'd think he would see that he was being rough and stop but nope. The rest of the pedi was good, the coals felt nice. But he was clumsy with polish. Im pretty fair and got red polish for my nails so it was visible when he missed my nail and got polish on the sides of my toe nails. He tried to scrape it off but even now i can still see that theyre not neat and theyre slightly uneven. But no sweat, what irks me is that its been 2 hrs after and some of my polish on my big toe has CHIPPED!! Ughh seriously? On to Mani: i had another guy work on my full set. He was gentler than the pedi guy and his work was quite fast. I got coffin shape and they turned out nicely. But again.. these guys need to work on their polish application! I got red on my nails again and he was really missing my nails at certain points. He tried to clean them up but the edges of my nails are so messy still that i just went home and wiped them up. Fixable but cmon, i paid for this service so i wouldnt have to do it at home. Final part of my trip was Waxing: I had to wait a bit while my nails were drying but the front desk lady (im assuming is the owner?) took me to the back and waxed my eyebrows. She did a good job, and was fast so i didnt have a problem with the service... it was more her approach. She kept trying to sell me on waxing and doing more services that day. Even after i politely said no, she'd still push another body part service. Like i get it, youre trying to promote your business but i just got 3 services at your place lady, thats last minute money i didnt intend on spending. Please take my "no thank you" as an honest "no!" B/c the experience had some pros, im giving this place a 2 star and not chalking it up as a loss. It was something i needed last minute but i definitely wont be returning. read more

Just got a pedi here while visiting Alpharetta, waiting for my sister to get out of her scrabble tourney. I was lucky enough to get the sweetest, most chatty lady in the shop and she was AWESOME. I didn't get her name but she was the "grande dame" - the others were much younger. She did this amazing hot stone thing on the soles of my feet and the foot massage was fantastic. I know nail salons get a bad rap for poor wages/working conditions but I try to make up for that by tipping heavily and being pleasant. The male and female were both VERY rude and clipped around my cuticles with extreme force that I bled on my feet and my hands. Just got the most hurried and rushed pedicure in my life. Whole thing was done in 30 minutes. Barely any massage and the hot towel burned my skin. I got there an hour before closing. If they didn't want to accept a walk-in that late, they could have told me that. Nail tech was brusque, no people skills. Never going back. They close at 8pm and I left the shop at 8:45. I requested a gel mani and pedi. The lady did very good on my feet. The woman who did my manicure was HORRID! She clipped my cuticles about 4 to 5 times and made two of my fingers bleed. The color that I wanted didn't look good. it was about 8 shades lighter than the sample even after 4 coats. I told her I wanted to change the color after the first 2 coats. She got the color I wanted and painted over the nails that already had polish on them. the owner had to come over..soak my nails because I had gel polish, and re do my entire manicure. I was highly disappointed. I'll never go back or recommend this place. read more

I came here because my regular nail tech at the shop I normally go to is MIA. Finding a new nail tech sucks!!!! Nancy did my fill on my acrylic set. She was uncomfortably fast. She had me in and out in less than 25mins. I say uncomfortably fast because when someone is moving like Speedy Gonzalez with a drill in their hands it makes you a bit uncomfortable and nervous. My nails look good for now. The truth will come out after a few days. Let's hope I don't see any lifting or cracks. I'll give them a 4 for now for good merit. Pretty good job for an affordable price. This isn't a fancy salon, but it's quick, convenient and relatively inexpensive. A plus is that many of the employees here speak English very well. I've been to salons where the language barrier is strong, and requests tend to get lost in translation. I didn't experience that here. The woman who did my pedicure the first time I was here did a great job. The polish lasted for over two weeks before I saw any signs of it chipping. The only negative is that the foot and leg massage were a little too intense. She used the exfoliating scrub and massaged as hard as possible. It was painful. I began to get white knuckled and had to tell her to stop. I came in a week later for a French manicure. Once again, friendly service. The color didn't chip for a couple of days which is really good for a non-gel French manicure. I'd come back here again. read more

I got acrylics under it as my nails were too short, gels on top and the entire process took less than 45 min....like 35 min max. She barely shaped them, I am looking at them now and know I have to go somewhere tomorrow for them to fix it I will post a picture but I'm telling you they look terrible. I stopped by D nails on a sat afternoon and it was completely empty one person getting serviced. I should have used this as a red flag and kept going. I wanted a mani and pedicure. She started on my feet no prob then she was so rough my toenails started bleeding and she hurried up and wiped it off. I snatched my feet back several times smh it hurt !!! so bad I would t allow her to do my nails. After a few hours I have actual burning sensation on my toes she scrubbed my skin RAW !
