In town for a wedding this weekend and unfamiliar with the area, I was trying to decide where to get my nails done. I'm so glad I chose this place! Such a sweet couple own it, and the experience was wonderful. Definitely recommend! read more

They do an amazing job at this nail salon. I go and refer everyone when they come in town.

Needed a pedicure in advance of a beach visit so visited again for their friendly service in a very clean and stylish location!

I came here recently to get gel x for my nails. I had been here before for the same service and loved it. However, the owners seemed to have changed as I did not recognize any of the staff. The owner (older male) attempted to assist me with my service. I noticed he would pause and talk with another employee (his wife). I later figured out he was asking her how to apply gel x on nails. After 1.5 hours, my nails were looking very uneven. You could even see where my real nails and gel x nails were. I was never offered the nail color options they usually have on binder rings even though I asked numerous times for it. Without having the opportunity to pick a color, I just randomly guessed on which color I wanted for my nails. Eventually his wife took over and was very patient and kind with me. One thing I did not feel comfortable with was her applying a new set of gel x nails over the ones her husband had applied on the first time. I ended up asking her to stop and told her I was gonna go home from the amount of frustration I was feeling during my time there. I do not expect 100% perfection and flawless looking nails, but I do expect some satisfaction if I am paying a professional to do my nails. Now I have to wait for my nails to heal before I try getting gel x again. Unfortunately, I will not be returning here. Nails are incredibly brittle and weak, and nail beds have been cut open. read more

This was my first visit to this nail salon. I moved to Peachtree Corners less than a year ago and this is the 3rd nail salon I've been to and this has been the best. I was pleasantly surprised greeted upon entry and the atmosphere was very welcoming and Helen did my pedicure . She was very friendly and she did a very good job, meticulously polishing each toe, taking her time to clean up any residual polish surrounding any nail. This salon is very convenient to me and I will definitely be returning. read more

Owners are very customer oriented and always welcoming. Quality mani / pedis for me and my daughter every time

I got a pedicure and a fill-in with a design change, and as always, the experience was phenomenal! The owners never fail to impress me--they're the absolute best, and their team is just as incredible. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and happy with your nails. The attention to detail, the creativity with designs, and the overall vibe of the salon keep me coming back every time. Love it here! If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out--you must come here! read more

Rose did a really good job on my feet. She has a really good attitude, and she fixed everything i asked with no problem. [she did a good job, im just a picky customer lol] I didnt feel rushed at all, and she has a very gentle hand. 10/10 Kevin was very welcoming the entire time i was there. This is my first time coming, and i'll be back. They served me wine, just like the place i used to go to before I moved into town. Lamer is my new Go-To Nail salon now. Thank you Kevin and Rose for the good experience! read more

I've tried this place twice now. I love the fact that they have matching polish to the SNS, even to the gel polish. That's why I came back. They have a nice looking shop too. But I think it took longer than it would have at my normal salon. The lady doing my pedicure didn't understand what I was saying, so I couldn't communicate with her. She did a good job though. I just forgot they do the scrub, which I don't like and she didn't understand when I was saying I didn't want it. The older lady did my SNS nails. She burns you a little bit with the nail sander. I was uncomfortable leaning to my right side. Instead of doing one hand on the right of the chair & the other hand on the left, she stayed on the right side. There's also SNS underneath my nails. I'll keep looking for the perfect salon for me. I'm sure this salon is a good fit for others though. read more

Not even 5 days from the job my natural nails are separated from the acrylic and one nail completely broken. See pictures. I went back to the salon today to have them fixed by the same tech that completed the initial Job. I was seated immediately and he seemed very nonchalant about my concerns. His idea of fixing my nails was to attempt to pop them off. He tried to pop off a fresh acrylic set instead of soaking. Needless to say the pain was unbearable. He never apologized and kept asking questions about my service before him (which was at the same salon). I felt as though I was an inconvenience. After his final attempt to stick a tip nail In between the acrylic and my natural nail. I jerked back in pain asked him to cut all my nails with clippers and left. I will not return. PS. I don't have a labor intensive career and I noticed my nails were splitting 2 days after the job when I went to wash my hair and my hair kept snagging in my nails. The hunt continues to find a solid nail tech in the metro area! read more

*Updated* Wasn't thrilled with the polish job the first time. It looked like the polish wasn't applied with even coats to every layer. Same thing happened the second time, I saw the top coat while drying, it wasn't applied evenly, so the lines are still on the nails. Overall, good customer service, after this mishap. The shine of my nails is on point, the nail beds look sufficient. They did an ok job. Thankfully, now, I can enjoy my manicure and pedicure happily for the next week. read more

I called about walk in appointments and immediately was greeted kindly by the owner. He is very nice and so is the lady who did my pedicure. The atmosphere was quiet, relaxed, and very clean. They made sure to get me exactly what I wanted but still showing my suggestions on what would work best for my big toes. Will be coming again for their white wine and customer service. Ideal prices I did a $35 pedicure message and hot towels with gel for an extra $15. read more

I came here since I tore one of my toe nails due to a hiking trip (didn't rip off at the tear). I thought that I would need acrylics to fix the nail like I had done previously. However, since I majorly procrastinated on getting it fixed (bandaids ftw!), my nail was able to grow out a bit. So when the nail tech cut off the ripped part of the nail, it seemed that it did not need much work done. The nail tech was honest and asked if I still wanted acrylics for the nail or just shape it. I went with the uneven shape instead of the acrylics and just enjoyed my pedi. But I definitely appreciate the honesty. Covid precaution: They make you wash your hands when you walk in before you can touch nail polish bottles etc. read more

Under new management... I was a regular here and I will NOT be returning. I paid for the signature pedicure that includes a massage. No massage was given, and when I asked she literally stroked my leg up and down, and then smacked them twice. I told her that the pedicure I chose comes with a massage which is why anyone would opt to pay extra right?! She looked at me cluelessly. I said are you serious? That's it? She said yes. As I checked on it to pay for my less than desirable service, she had the nerve to ask for more of a tip than what I gave her... the audacity!!!! Nope! Not coming back! read more

Overall the staff was nice, my pedicure was perfect! But my I asked for tapered square ombre.. the shape was off and there was specks of trash in my nails. I had to go to work so I just went home and filed them to how I liked them. I asked the lady who was doing my nails to fix shape a bit, but didn't do much. read more

I absolutely found my new spot. After reading all the reviews about Mike, I set up an appointment with him to get my nails him and WOW did he live up to what I had read about him. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and committed. Mike made sure to get the nail designs and colors exactly the way I wanted them and took his time to find the perfect shade of gold to complement the pink and black on my other nails. He was also able to make my 2 broken nails look exactly like the other ones (I did gel polish on natural nails). Thank you Mike for such a great visit. read more

I've been coming to Lamer for about 1.5 years now, and have since been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but I think I've hit my final straw. The nail techs are always very aggressive and in a rush, and treat customers as if they aren't paying a pretty substantial amount for services. My acrylics are always placed super sloppy (picture is a day after application). When I show an inspiration pic, the nail tech makes me pick my own powder to match the color.. aren't they the professionals?? Overall I always leave feeling bad about the rude service and horrible quality. Unfortunately I will no longer be returning read more

One of the best nails salons I've went to! I loved the staff and they are very skilled in nail design, nails last long also. My sister and I will definitely return Update: went back after this review and drove a long drive only to be met with much higher prices and nails that didn't even last a week. This is the first time I have went to a salon and my nails broke like this. I'm appalled! Will not be returning. . read more

This place is horrible. I asked for a manicure, but the nail tech asked me to choose the pedicure menu. When I did, I saw the price for the manicure as well. In the end, they tried to charge me more. When I confronted them and asked for the menu to check, the man who works there told me the price I saw was without nail polish. They are scammers, and I wouldn't suggest them to anyone. Finally, after I confronted them, they charged me the correct price. They are fake & cheaters. read more

WOW!! My wife & I are in for the weekend & needed to get Mani/Pedi. Looking on yelp Lamar was close & had good reviews. I normally don't write reviews, but the the service we received. The owner checked on us. My wife gets ingrown nails, but the tech had no problem & my wife was very relaxed during the session. The techs were outstanding on upselling but not pushy. The decor is bright & airy. If we lived here, this would definitely be our nail salon. I could go on & on, but when we come back to ATL, this is our nail salon. read more

I went in on Thursday night for an SNS manicure. Tina did my nails and she did a great job! My nails look super natural, not thick and chunky, which can sometimes happen when getting SNS especially if the technician is rushed. Tina worked efficiently and has a great eye for detail. They have tons of chairs for both manicures and pedicures, TVs on every wall, and a simple yet elegant interior design to leave you feeling relaxed while you get your nails done. Everyone who I interacted with was kind and welcoming and made me feel comfortable which is exactly what I am looking for when I get my nails done. They have a huge selection of colors, SNS and gel and regular polish. I definitely will be coming back! They just opened and told me they will be doing 40% off until March 10, so it's a great chance to check them out for yourself! read more
