Another new nail salon! Yay! Seriously, though, THIS location is closest to my home. Check! It's a fairly new salon, opened late 2022, I believe. Not only is it new, it's super CLEAN, NOT cluttered & it's WELL organized! Things (tools in particular) appear to be well kept & sterile. That's super important! AND ... the owner is not only nice, professional & courteous, she speaks English too, VERY WELL! She's easy to understand & she understands ME TOO! THAT IS my jam!! Bottoms of feet are beyond rougher than they were when I went in because the way they were scrubbed. We're not even busy but I felt rushed when I was picking out a color it felt like someone was breathing down my neck. Shop is very out of date too for the price I paid. Regulars beware! Rosie and Nancy have left the country and won't return for several months. Dyana is still there, and of course everyone loves her. Tammy is new and she does a nice job but she is rude and abrupt. What she lacks in customer service she makes up in her level of detail. There is another new technician and I don't recommend her at all. Do not to let her touch your hands or feet. I went in to have my SNS removed and she dremeled my nails on one hand nearly down to the skin. Then she left me sitting with with foil and acetone for far too long while she went to help another customer. She left me for so long that Tammy yelled at her. My nails are absolutely shredded. I won't be returning to Dream Nails until Rosie and Nancy return. read more

By far the absolute WORST PAINT JOB I have ever received. By the end of the day my nails were chipping and the paint on my toes were lifting. The quality of the polish is poor. I could have painted my nails at home with better results. The top coat that was placed on my nails contained no shine at all. To top this poor paint job off was the customer service received. The lady made me pay for the service before she even started painting my nails. Mine you, I only came in for a paint job. She literally filled my nails and then requested payment. Unbelievable! Even the nicer salons in the area do not do that. Not sure if it was due to the color of my skin, but I will say there were 2 other Caucasian women who left before I did and paid at the completion of their service. For some odd reason I did not have that choice. All in all bad experience. I will not patronize such a place like this ever again!! Beware!!! There are so many other better salons in the area. So it wasn't a nightmare in any way, but the term Dream Nail is a stretch. The shop is located in the corner of a strip plaza with Gold's Gym. Tina (Linh) was friendly and talkative once she realized I was Vietnamese. She helped me select a color and did a fair job with my gel manicure. The downside - while I had asked to keep my nails short, they were cut so short that there wasn't much room to file the nails without possibly cutting me. My dreams don't typically involve blood! I must have tuned out because it was only later that I realized that my cuticles received no love. Their techniques were a bit old school with raggedy cotton gloves and a uv gel machine that I had to balance on my lap. As for my pedicure, Jenny did a good job. The final touch was the table in the back where you typically insert your hands and tuck your freshly painted toes under the table to speed up the drying process. The table must have been broken, because my technician turned on a small fan and placed it near my feet. It got the job done and made me laugh, but a salon experience should feel better than something I can recreate at home. The takeaway - if you're super hungry and short on time, a $1.29 cup of Wendy's chili hits the spot. Same goes for this salon...it gets the job done at reasonable prices, but consider bringing in your polish (limited selection) and speaking up if you feel the tech is skipping a step. read more

I personally am low maintenance and don't go for crazy designs but I thought I would give it ago because she had been so loyal to them for a while. Dyana is our girl and she's extremely good at listening to your needs. I wanted gel nail but just to apply it, not a manicure, and I wanted it to look more natural than anything. I loved the design she recommended me so much that after it grew out, I went back and got the same exact design! (I know.. Super adventurous huh?) Well the gel nail stayed on for 3+weeks and honestly could've lasted longer but I decided to just come and see her. I went in there for a mani pedi. Both were just ok. The women working there were very friendly. But the nail polish chipped three days after my manicure. I love their prices, the service is good, the ladies are super nice and what's very important for me is that it does not have that toxic nail polish smell many other salons have. The size of the salon is perfect for this location in Norcross and even if at times they can get little busy I have waited no more than 5-10 min max. I am so upset!! I just left here trying to get a fill in because it is close to my work. I told the girl I wanted the pink and white powder. She does the normal drilling and then puts what I thought was polish remover on my fingers and foil on top of that and then a warmer on my hand. I asked her if this was normal for pink and white powder because where I normally go they don't do that. She said yes. I said you are doing the pink and white powder and she said yes. So she does the same with my other hand. Takes the warmer and foil off my other hand and my freaking tips are off!!! What the heck! All she said was "oh I am sorry" now I have to pay to have my tips put back on!! I am so furious right now!. I will never go back to this place! read more

Went here to try a new place with my friend. Usually go to upscale nails but this place is a little cheaper so we decided to try it. Big mistake. Its so small there were only 4 other people in there but i had to actually step over someone to get to the door. Definitely bot a relaxing atmosphere. Also we made an appointment for 2:30 and weren't seen until 3:00...we sat down and then they told us my friend massage chair was broken and she could sit on the other side of the shop.(defeats whole purpose of getting our bails done together and my friend drove all the way from decatur). We told them we were going somewhere else...and the girl kept saying my toe nails were way too long and insisted on just cutting them before i go...shoulda been a red flag. She cut my toe nails all the way down to the skin. To the point that the lady at the second nail shop said "why did you cut your toenails so short? This doesn't look good." I almost hate to give them a great review because I'm afraid everyone in Atlanta will start coming to MY favorite place. I have used everyone on staff and everyone is very good. Usuallly my daugther and I just walk in and don't make an appointment. The atmosphere is so pleasant that even if we have to wait a few minutes we never, ever mind. I have no idea what other reviewers mean by a limited selection of colors. That's not true. There are so many gel and regular colors I always need to have a color type in mind or I would spend all day looking at the wall of colors. I have never received anything but top notch service.
