I'm not sure where to begin but I think I found a new masseuse. I called hoping to get a last minute appointment on a Saturday. I normally Prefer a female masseuse but They only had one person available and it was a male. I decided to try it anyway since I was calling a few hours before the appointment. When I arrived the front desk staff were warm and welcoming. It was my first time there so she showed me around and explained the layout. Now for the massage. Hands down one of the best massages I gotten in years. Ace did my massage after 90 mins I left feeling relaxed floating on clouds. I will definitely make this part of my regular routine. read more

What a fantastic experience. I visited D'lor for my birthday after my partner gifted me a spa gift card. When I searched for spas and came across the great reviews for D'lor, I was set. Their prices, packages and great Yelp reviews were all selling points that solidified my plan to book with them, and I was not disappointed. I initially planned to book on the website as I never prefer phone calls if I can avoid them, lol. Unfortunately, the website did not show any availability for the day I was hoping to go, but I figured it was because of the short 1-day turnaround. In an unusual move, I called D'lor just to be sure they didn't have availability and lucky me - they actually did have a spot. YAY! Bridget at the front was so patient and helped accommodate me for the day/time and package that I was looking for. Upon arrival, it was easy to find a parking space and head right on in. I was greeted warmly and given a short form to complete before heading in. The salon was booked and busy, set in a separate portion of the business, it was so peaceful as ladies hustled in and out. Once I finished my form I was taken to the ladies dressing area and given a locker that included a robe and slides. The space was intimate, offering a private toilet, sauna, and more, all in one space. Once I got changed I went and took a seat in the sitting room. This space was sooo comfy, I almost hesitated a bit when my masseuse came and got me lol. I hate that I didn't catch either of my providers name because they were both amazing! I went with one of their February packages that included a 60min massage, 60 min facial and a steam bath. I forgot about the steam bath but, wow, my massage and facial were great. My massage was nice, not life-changing, but it was a good experience. That facial? Amazing. After switching my medication recently, my skin has been struggling and I really needed a good facial and extractions. Miss Ma'am got me right!! She got under my skin in the best way, she even snatched a random hair that was on my chin without me asking LOL. From calling in for my appointment, to my arrival, and exit - this was a fantastic experience! I will be running back to have another spa day at D'lor. read more

To start with the good the staff was very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. The shop was nice and tidy which was very refreshing. The parking wasn't the best considering it's in somewhat of a plaza with a restaurant and event space. I was also fortunate to get a same day appointment for a pedicure and full set. Unfortunately that appointment time didn't matter in the end because I still had to wait almost an hour after my appointment time. During the appointment I ask for a particular service and was informed the nail tech wouldn't have enough time. That threw me off because I literally just sat and waited almost an hour for her to finish the previous client. To me my request was a small one and should've been accommodated considering how long I had to wait. I was expecting a nice clean look but they fell short of that. As you can see in the photos there was polish all over my skin. Also because the nail tech was already almost an hour behind I was just ready to take my L and not spend anymore time asking her to fix anything. In the end the quality of service I received did not match the price I paid at all. I paid $75 for a VERY BASIC pedicure and $60 for an even more BASIC short set. Well, well, well! Recently moved to the SW side of ATL and, yes it can be a bit of a service desert. So, I was pleased to find a day spa that provides the services I want at a location that does not require an hour jaunt to the north side of town. I'm very happy to report that D'lor delivers. All the spa services you'd expect along with all the salon services you could ask for. My first visit was a gel pedi and a quick barber cut. I had the pedi first, and it was perfection. La took her time and provided an exacting, detailed pedi that was amazingly relaxing. The nail area is small and intimate--I really appreciated the low-key atmosphere. Next up was my hair cut--I keep my hair super short these days and usually have to have it done by a barber. Getting both a pedi and my cut at the same place is quite the treat! Faye took excellent care of me! I even added on a shampoo--yes, I know "why get a nearly bald head shampooed?" Well, if you've ever had an excellent shampoo no explanation is necessary! Moreover, I learned about some styling possibilities that I never considered and now I'm really looking forward to my next fancy cut and dye! Next time, it'll be a full on spa day--mani, pedi, cut, facial, and massage. And yessss, I WILL be having lunch across the street. My experience at D'Lor Salon has been consistently terrible. My most recent visit involved Samirah, the hairstylist, who completely botched a sew-in. The install was so tight it caused tears on my scalp, and the tracks weren't even styled--they were just sewn in. While working on my hair, Samirah took cig smoke breaks and even tried to steal the gel I brought for her to use on my scalp. When I returned to the salon three days later after communicating about the pain in my scalp to address the issue, I found out Samirah had flown out of town instead of meeting me at the salon, leaving Cindy, the manager, to cut some of the tracks out. This left me with a bald patch on my scalp. Cindy was more interested in covering for Samirah's unprofessionalism than solving the problem. I scheduled another appointment with Samirah to loosen the sew-in and add back the tracks Cindy had cut out. However, Samirah didn't show up on time. I called her three times within the hour after our scheduled appointment, but she ignored me. It wasn't until I texted demanding a refund that she called me back--over an hour late--and lied, claiming she didn't know about the appointment. This was a blatant lie because she was the one who called me to schedule it. When she finally arrived, she refused to take accountability for her poor work. She claimed it wasn't her fault my hair turned out this way, refused to give me a refund, and even said she wouldn't redo the sew-in. She did add the tracks Cindy took out but did not fix the rest of my head that had tracks falling out. To make matters worse, when she finished she tried to charge me $200 to fix her own mistake! Of course, I refused to pay her, and my bank had to step in to get me my money back. This wasn't my first bad experience with Samirah. On a previous visit, she installed a wig for me that came off the same day, even after I specifically asked if it was sweat-proof. It's clear that wigs and sew-ins are not her strong suit, and she should not be working as a hairstylist. To make matters worse, the management at D'Lor Salon is no better. Cindy was more focused on making excuses for Samirah than addressing the issues I faced and giving me my refund. This salon has a history of poor service. More than 2 years ago on my birthday, I had received a bday gift card for a facial and nail services. When I arrived on time no one was there to open the salon. I waited 30 minutes outside for someone to arrive and unlock the doors. After that, I had to wait even longer for the esthetician to show up for my facial. By the time my facial was done, the nail technician still hadn't arrived. Frustrated and disappointed, I ended up leaving without getting my nails done because I didn't want to waste any more of my birthday. D'Lor Salon is unprofessional, unreliable, and lacks accountability. I will never return to this salon and strongly advise others to AVOID THIS SALON--especially Samirah, who has been a consistent disappointment. read more

This place really impressed me! From the moment I first called, the receptionist (sorry I didn't catch your name!) had excellent customer service and when I arrived she was friendly and engaging. Ms. Angie helped by washing my hair and it was the best - she scrubbed enough to feel like a massage where I didn't doubt my hair was clean and she didn't get water in my ears or all over my face. Ms. Cindy is just magical. She gave me exactly what I wanted, even though I didn't have a picture. She actually listens. I also appreciated her talking through things with me to reconfirm we were on the same page. I also received a tour afterwards since it's more than just a hair salon (massage section, facials and a nail salon too). I really appreciated that I wasn't pressured into getting a membership. Finally, D'Lor provides excellent salon services at a ressonable price. Hi I recently treated my Mom to a beauty day on the day after Thanksgiving. I myself am from Nyc and have been to many fine salons in my day and have very high standards. D'lor was very special. The decor was top notch and the services diverse and plentiful for women and men. We saw Clydette who did our facials. My Mom was first she came out an hour looking like a star. I the New Yorker would be a tougher sell. First I had a 90 minute steam room treatment that was heaven , then it was time for my facial. I have to tell you of all the esthetician's I have seen over the years I learned more and got better results from Clydette than all the others. She not only had the most updated equipment she explained what she was doing and why she used new techniques and some tried and true old fashion techniques. I got the Microdermbrasion and it was amazing followed by a charcoal mask and facial massage. I think I was actually snoring, that's how relaxed I was. I take care of my skin but there is always room for improvement and I learned that this trip. When I visit mom next time I will make sure I will stop by and see Clydette and the amazing staff once again. Five stars on all fronts. read more

I have enjoyed coming there in the past, however my last 2 appointments had to be canceled due to inconsistent communications or lack of client management. The Nail tech is always awesome. Parking is always available. environment is beautiful. 1. The online appointment system: I scheduled my appoint a few weeks in advance and did not receive a call stating that my appointment needed to be changed due to the nail tech not being onsite that day. So I showed up and was not able to get my nails done. 2. I received a $10 off coupon with no minimum purchase stated on the coupon. When someone called to confirm my appointment they told me I had to spend $50 or more. I was told I would receive a call back from management to see if the coupon would be honored, but I did not receive a call back in over 24 hours. I called to cancel the appointment because the communication and consistency in customer relations has not been satisfactory. Made an appointment for my grandmother. Her appointment was at 12, we waited 50 minutes just to be seated in another chair while the owner and another lady worked on fixing the shampoo chairs. At that point I gave them about 10 additional minutes to begin shampooing my grandmothers hair which they did not. We left frustrated and annoyed. I understand that there is times when a client may take longer which is understandable but constantly telling us that her wait will be another 8 minutes and that turn into a 50 minute wait is unacceptable. This was an good experience. I booked a couples massage and it was amazing. Our massages were fantastic! The salon is actually a hair salon as well but everything is separated. My only complaint is the slippers and robes were worn out like extremely. Because the guest don't walk around much at all and the robes aren't worn long means they haven't replaced the in some time. That was a bit uncomfortable but because their service was great I would go back hoping they have newer robes and slippers. read more

An absolute wonderful place!!! My wife and myself treated ourselves to a full body massage here, and boy were we not disappointed. We both have been to other spas in the past, but this one we both agreed stands out far beyond the rest. From the moment we walked in the door we received nothing less than the royal treatment. I absolutely have to comment on the decor of the spa because of how inviting it was with a beautiful fireplace, comfortable chairs and rotunda style ceiling. However they had people from all around Atlanta so I am not really sure who it was and where she was from that did my hair. Well, it doesn't seem like she has ever done white hair because she messed up my hair.
