    Minestrone soup
    Hope L.

THIS IS HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE BEST PIZZA PLACES EVER! We came here after finding it on Yelp and I'm so happy we did! The servers were super nice and attentive to us and the food was amazing! We got the Andre Special (pesto, chicken, grilled onions, bacon, mushrooms, and mozzarella) and the minestrone soup. We really wanted to try the clam chowder but they were unfortunately sold out. First off, the bread was amazing! It melted in your mouth and is handmade with a thick crust and a gooey inside. The Minestrone soup wasn't thick at all and was jam packed with noodles and vegetables. The Andre Special was by far my favorite pizza as the ingredients blended together so well and they use the same dough as their bread. The crust was perfectly chewy and the pizza tasted fresh. I ate the pizza for leftovers 2 days later and it still tasted as amazing heated up as it did the day we got it! I would highly recommend coming here if you're in the area!

So glad we passed up the tourist spots and found this local favorite in a strip mall. We arrived 745 (just before closing) and the place was packed with families. Wait staff super friendly since we couldn't decide hubby got the lasagna and I got the mini thick pizza. Lasagna came with cup of soup- it was full of veggies but it wasn't our favorite. The lasagna is proportioned house made... and reheated. Unfortunately the sauce which is added during assembly is hot but the inside of the lasagna was cold. We really liked the sauce for dipping. The mini thick crust pizza is more than enough for two adults. We loved the crispy bottom of the crust and soooo much cheese without having to "go heavy" on cheese. Given the other things we ate we could not finish the mini pizza. There is a bit of debate - hubby said it was too much crust for him - I liked dipping the crust in the extra lasagna sauce lol The server said that if you order regular crust with more than 2 toppings it can't hold up. We saw this amazing salad come out with what looked like salami on it. Next time we are in town we are getting a mini pizza and that salad.

D'Aurelio's is a must-go to place when I'm in Fort Bragg. It's only open for dinner though and set back behind the main drag. Never-the-less it is a popular place because their food is outstanding. Everything is homemade and delicious. The portions are generous. I got a mini pizza, thick crust, marinara sauce, cheese and sausage, mushroom and bell pepper. After one piece, I was full.

This is a sweet, intimate, family owned Italian restaurant. You can tell everything is authentic in each and every one of their dishes. Even their bread is homemade and it was the best bread I have had in a restaurant. The first time we came here (6 years ago) we tried their pizza. The pizza is fun to order because you get to choose how much sauce and cheese you want. They have an extensive list of toppings and everything tastes so fresh. Pizza is definitely 5 stars! This time, we both ordered pasta dishes. I ordered their pesto and mine was so fresh tasting and the flavors were well balanced. My wife ordered chicken alfredo and it was the cheesiest, tastiest alfredo I've ever had. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the chicken was quite dry and I could only eat a couple pieces of it before I gave up on it. But overall, I would recommend this place and we will be coming here again next time we visit the Mendocino area.

The food is ok. Not the best pizza/ Italian food out there. We ordered a couple of pizzas, spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, and eggplant parm. As our order got to the table, the spaghetti and meat sauce order was cold (meat sauce) and noodles very lukewarm, the pizza wasn't great, and the eggplant parm was piping hot at the top but the rest was a very lukewarm. It's not bad... food mediocre. I was definitely expecting better from reading previous reviews. Service was good. The waitresses were nice and took orders quickly. Ambiance fine as well.

The BEST pizza, honestly! We chose to eat here based on Yelp reviews because we were in the mood for pizza. We weren't expecting much because how unique can pizza really be? Parking was in a strip mall, and it was easy to find (you'll find a few groups of people waiting outside to get seated). The interior of the restaurant is modest and quaint. After about 15-20 minutes, we were seated in a booth. We ordered the lasagna and a small pizza for 2 of us. We honestly could have gone with the mini because they come out a lot bigger than you expect them to. The lasagna was solid - filling and delicious. Not the best lasagna we've ever had but it was delicious and comforting. For the small pizza, we got the Andre special on a thin crust (I like that you have an option to choose thin or thick crust). I'm glad we chose the thin because it was thick enough to complement the pizza but wasn't too thin like a cracker where it doesn't taste like pizza. The ingredients they use were generously and evenly spread through the whole pie and each bite had a nice crunch to the bottom crust with the ultimate cheese pull. Flavors meshed well together and I can easily say this is one of the best pizza's I've ever had! I appreciated their options for the pizzas - thin or thick crust, light, medium, or heavy cheese, and red, pesto, or alfredo sauce. I'd definitely stop by again if in the area. Oh, and the butter is UNDER the bread! We ate a few plain pieces hoping for butter before we discovered them at the bottom of the basket, haha.

We got so sick, we thought we were going to die !. Me and wife went to emergency room after eating here. And as for the service , what service ?. Inattentive and rude. Filthy bathroom !!!, so bad I couldn't even use it !. And it felt like we were eating in a Mexican restaurant , as they were the only employees there. Definitely were not any Italians working there, they all spoke Spanish . What a sham of a restaurant . HORRIBLE FOOD NOT FIT FOR DOGS LET ALONE HUMANS.

Everything on the menu sounded yummy. Asked the waitress to surprise me. She brought me a full order of lasagna and this was HEAVEN. layers of meaty cheesy yummy goodness. The basil vinaigrette was mind blowing and I still think about it weeks later. Great service. Delicious food. Pleasant surprise tucked away in For Bragg.

We loved the atmosphere which they have live music playing! Our server was very kind and gave us recommendations. We were able to split and share a Cesar salad and they gave two plates to share which was kind instead of one big plate and we appreciated that. I give 4/5 stars for the quality of the food only because I felt the spaghetti noodles were a little salty along with the sauce being salty. I love love love spaghetti and this was the first time I've been to an Italian restaurant and felt something was salty because I'm never one to complain. It could have been an off day but from the time we ordered to the actual dinner entrees to come took more than 20 minutes and it wasn't too crowded. Also, we ordered cannolis and the shell didn't seem crunchy/fresh but the flavor was there and the texture of the ricotta was smooth! For a couple who ordered 2 appetizers , two main entrees, one bottle of red wine , and two cannolis to share, we spent about 200 which was a little bit pricier than we usual experience at a typical Italian restaurant so just a heads up. Otherwise, this is a good place for fine dining in the area with nice staff and good portion food

I was just expecting decent. But I think what's unsettling is the price point so here is what we thought so you can make your own decision. I had a starter, the PAN SEARED DAY BOAT SCALLOPS. With this dish you get 3 scallops. I imagined typical-sized scallops but these were super small, about the size of a quarter (coin). The sauce and fennel salad tasted fine but for price I was imagining bigger. I think these were $24. The scallops were not that "fresh off the boat" taste, but edible. For price, I would say $18 at most. To be fair. The pasta with marinara was decent, but for boxed pasta and most likely canned sauce, $30 is a bit much to ask. We Asked for extra Parmesan cheese, instead of freshly shredded at the table, it came in a dish. That's more about being an Italian restaurant than cost. But to far, $20-$22, with fresh Parmesan! Not $30. We also ordered a mixed green salad, which was more like a side salad for 1. Again overpriced. The waiter said it was enough for 2 but it's not that big! Maybe 1 person eats and the 2nd person gets 2 bites. We did like the dressing. So in the end, the food was just okay (not fresh) but what made it all hard to swallow was the price point for quality ratio. Big city prices. $100, for 2. ;a plate of pasta, a starter, 1 salad, & 2 glasses of wine).

Not busy on a Sunday evening we were sat at a table in the lounge/bar which was off to the side with a huge window. Pretty much immediately the waters were poured and french bread arrived, not many places starting with free bread these days. M ordered up a Mai Tai and I had a bottle of sparkling water. It took us a bit to go through the menu, I like to see if I can get a variety of items to add some excitement to the palate.... First up the chef's Clam Chowder, this version had some small dice vegetables, was a good medium thickness, and off white in color. Unfortunately the vegetables and diced potatoes made the clams and flavor secondary, in my opinion. That was followed up with six triangle shape won tons with a tasty mix of shrimp and sauce. Dungeness crab cakes were delivered and we each took one of the breaded and fried 3ounce or so cakes, plenty of crab and they were good. Ceviche was great and plenty of shrimps to enjoy with the house made tortilla chips. The Spinach salad hit the spot and finished our buffet of choices nicely. We took a slice of Lemon cheesecake back to the room for a treat later. The service was attentive, average. Everything was good but I didn't feel as though anything was outstanding.
