Sorry no pics, but I can say this was one of my top 5 favorite round tables.. First and foremost, there's Chelsea.. She's about 20 and treats her job very seriously; she could really make a lot of tips at a higher end restaurant.. Although she operates like a cashier she actually came by and checked on the tables to see if there was anything we needed.. She was exceptional and should be considered for management training. As for the food, round table never disappoints when it comes to pizza, but the salad bar was outstanding. They had jello, peaches and pineapple along with everything else you'd expect. And had to wait inside forever. We were truly ready to go, when they said 8 more minutes... in all, we made it back to the hotel about 15 minutes before our alleged delivery time... so that was very disappointing. They should have a better estimate on cooking times! Other than that: the food was very good and/or we were very hungry! The pizza was LOADED. And the wings were tender and flavorful so good food, but expect a very long wait, at least 30-40 minutes longer than they estimate ! And plan appropriately. Look at the picture. What about the letters "LAOD" on the curb would indicate the spot is reserved?? Not to mention the parking lot was near full, which you'd think the owner would be thrilled with, and understand that their spot is taken. Inside customer service was not much better. Hands down best Round Table that I've been to by far! I mean, it's a chain restaurant and I normally wouldn't even rate a chain restaurant unless it was a terrible experience to be honest. Plus I have actually rated a Round Table in Napa, with a one star, and if possible I would've left no stars... Anyway, we went there this morning right when they opened, and we expected to eat at the buffet, but it turns out they don't have a buffet on the weekends. We were a bit disappointed about that. However, the service was excellent, and the pizza, wings, and garlic twists that we order were fantastic! It was served super hot, and the server was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. I genuinely wish we could have an experience like that with every visit to Round Table, because being from the east coast I'm used to amazing pizza, and Round Table is about as close as I'm going to get. When we went to pick up the pizza at the time instructed by their website but they screwed it up. The pizza was a thick crust double mushroom NO pepperoni and NO extra cheese. When we pointed out the error they said they would make another one. We confirmed to the employee what we ordered before they started the 2nd pizza so it would not get messed up again! When we pointed out that it wasn't what we ordered we were met with the worst example of customer service We have ever seen. The employee argued THAT IT WAS THICK CRUST, that from the time it left the oven was then cut up and placed in a pizza box it had miraculously flattened out ??!! i mean seriously??? When it was obviously to anyone who looked It was NOT thick crust. There was a birthday party going on there at the time regardless it does not mean the employees can forget their customer service training? It is ultimately the responsibility of the Manager to provide training. When I asked the employee at the counter to speak with the manager I was told that she was busy. There was no offer of an apology or a discount? for making us wait over an hour for them to make 2 pizzas and neither one of them were made correctly AND at a cost of $45 What a joke!!! read more
