My family and I love this Mountain Mike's pizza!! The gentleman who owns it is a very kind man. His staff is amazing. Great selection of specialty pizzas. My family loves the aloha wings and plain wings and I love the salad bar. I also like to get the heart shaped cookie. I'm surprised to see many people not happy or complaining about this establishment. We usually get a large pizza and while it may be "pricey" for a family of four the pieces are large and we always end up taking at home with us. I used to eat at a Mountain Mike's near San Jose. It was pretty good so I tried this one. The pizza was okay. Very expensive! $48 for a medium with seven toppings. I've never had sour sun-dried tomatoes before. They're supposed to taste savory. I definitely will not order that topping again! That is if I ever order pizza or anything else from this restaurant. The chicken wings with Frank's Buffalo barbecue sauce are round smushed together chicken meat with coating. From the description, I expected actual wings with barbecue sauce! It didn't say boneless, which I already know to avoid. I looked up the ingredients list and one of them was wheat. Too much Sodium in them for me: 690 milligrams (30% DV). The Mountain Fries were the smallest ever, overcooked and WAY over salted potato wedges. I was not able to find the nutrition list for the fries on the Mountain Mike's website to see how much salt was actually in them. read more

We were very hungry so we decided to stop at mountain mikes. Around 28 dollars for a micro pizza that tastes like frozen pizza and two drinks. Guy behind the counter didn't give me my receipt when I asked and took it away as soon as I signed. Not even allowing me time to fill in or cross out the tip option. Place was dirty. So....since moving to California 10 years ago, I've always had this idea that mountain Mike's is some corporate, super low brow, fast food style pizza place.....until I went for my first time tonight! I was staying in fort bragg, and my boyfriend and I didn't check into our hotel until around 7pm. And most restaurants close by 9 here on a Sunday. Mountain mikes and dennys were pretty much the only options. We ordered a 10" snowy alps, thin crust and also added cilantro. We also got an order of the boneless honey garlic wings. When we got back to our hotel room, we both wished we had ordered a bigger pizza because it was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time! STEPH JUDGEMENT: Good service, ok pizza, open later than most places in Fort Bragg. We were starving when we rolled into Fort Bragg, and this was one of the few places still open after 8pm. Pizza sounded fine so we placed an order for the Medium Mt. Veggimore, intending to take it back to our b&b. While waiting, we decided to grab a couple of pints at the bar, which led us to almost eating the whole pizza there when it came out, lol. A fresh hot pizza is pretty hard to resist (especially after drinking some beer)! We thought the pizza was fine, but I didn't care for their slightly dry, "crackery" crust--not sure if it's like that all the time or if it was just that particular one. The Customer service so hard to come by but these guys are a great example. I ordered a small supreme pizza and salad! The choices of veggies and their salad bar very appetizing they had my absolute favorite Beets but it was empty. The guy was not bothered when asked an checked his employee who filled with a new container and it was amazing. Mo I do not recommend Fort Bragg CA.. as a vacation destination. There were limited food choices on Sunday night. We tried the Mountain Mikes in the same lot as the motel we stayed at. It was extremely difficult for the man at the counter to understand what I was trying to oder and equally hard for me to understand him. We had each ordered a soda, chicken wings and garlic knots. ( just 2 of us in my party). The garlic knots came to the table 1st. They looked and smelled delicious until I picked one up and the bottom was still frozen. That was difficult to communicate to the man at rhe counter who did take them back to cook or remake. Then my partners wings came to the table. Chicken wings were cold and undercooked. Then the new garlic knots came, fully cooked and slitlghtly black and crisp just on the edges. The knots did taste good. The man kept trying to push sauce on me for my order of "plain wings." (My boyfriend had BBQ wings). He ate 2 and then saw how underdone they were and did not want to complain further. His birthday dinner was just totally a mess. I will not eat at Mountan Mike's again. If your in Fort Bragg and want edible pizza parlor food or can't find anything else open... Round Table had good deliver service and the pizza tasted good and was nice and hot when delivered. Got a coupon from the inn we stayed at for Mountain Mike's and we are glad we made use of it to have something to take with us on the road. We got Pike's Peak and breadsticks, and while we had little to no expectation, both items hit the spot. They definitely do not skimp on toppings on the pizza - it was overloaded - without taking away from the crust. The breadsticks were also good, but they could use a touch more butter. Dipped in ranch, and that more than made up for the slight dryness. Service was courteous and wait time was fair considering we came during the lunch hour. Hope to come back again soon. read more
