    All-you-can-eat pizza & salad buffet
    Kevin B.

One of my favorite places to eat at when I visit Fort Bragg. Really chill local pizza spot. I always go for the afternoon all-you-can-eat pizza & salad buffet (drink included). Their salad buffet rocks! The pizza and cheese bread are always freshly replenished in the self serve carousel. You can't beat it!

I came across this local gem as my tour of Mendocino County was canceled due to some miss understandings, but the food here looks as good as any place around. The service here was great as the person holding down the cash register gave me advice on what to order. I was thankful of that. The ambiance in here is great, it goes from great music in the background to sports on the TVs.

Vinny's Pizza Stopped by Fort Bragg to see the pebble beach and got hungry so found a nice little pizza joint. Vinny's Pizza, now known as Bear's Pizza & More was a solid pizza joint. Me and my family got the X-large chicken, garlic, and bacon pizza (33.49). It was more than enough for us with leftovers to spare. They poured the meat onto the pizza. And it was honestly really good. We didn't see many food options are the area, so I was glad we were able to stumble upon this one. Definitely would come back when I'm in the Fort Bragg area next time. They also have a salad bar that you can add on to your meals!

    Shit

2 hr wait and the pizza shows up with no cheese it was cooked 2 hrs ago forsure. I'm 5 miles away from the store

Locally-owned restaurant located in the Boatyard Shopping Center in Fort Bragg, CA. They have signature pizzas or create your own along with pastas, appetizers, burgers, and more. Pizza and wings were pretty solid. It looks like they have AYCE during lunch time with a salad bar. That may be worth checking out for affordable pricing.

local beer, not served on a frosted glass

After a 3 hour drive and a late hotel check in at the Heritage House, we wanted a simple dinner. What's more simple than pizza? Vinny's was the only pizza place opened, so we decided to try it. We ordered a pint of their local beer. And a large half cheese/ half Chicken, Garlic & Bacon pizza. It took them a while to make a pizza. So long that I wondered; "Did they go all the way to Italy to make the pizza?" When the pizza finally arrived, the guy brought it over to our table and literally just slammed the pizza tray down and walked away. Also he was so careless that his thumb was touching one of the cheese slices. I would usually complain but I was exhausted and had very limited dining options. So, we just made sure not to eat that slice. Pizza was just ok. It tastes like a slightly better version of a frozen pizza. Beer- 2/5: Good enough but not cold enough as drafts should be. A frosted glass would've been a nice touch. Pizza: 1/5 Service: 1/5 I would not return to this pizzeria. Pizza was lackluster. Service was rude and almost non existant. Also they were vacuuming and spraying cleanser next to the salad bar. That is very unsanitary and unprofessional for a restaurant. Never again...

Medium size Timberwolf pizza and a large size Ranch

I had spaghetti with Alfredo sauce and added mushrooms and chicken it came with 2 slices of garlic bread and it was delicious, my husband had a medium Timberwolf Pizza and they sure loaded on the goodies! The place was packed the whole time we were here! There were LOTS of employees and were all working great together like a fine oiled machine! We came on a Sunday and they had the football game a big screen TV. Doesn't get any better than that pizza and football and a wonderful Sunday evening

Sausage, onion, green onion pizza and cheese sticks.

Super friendly staff, great service, and fantastic pizza and cheese sticks. We ordered a large sausage, onion, and green pepper pizza and a large cheese stick pizza. Delicious! Our kids loved the arcade room and said the games were really fun. If you are in Fort Bragg and hungry, Vinny's is a must! Keep up the great work!

An ode to out with the old and in with the new, welcome to Fort Bragg Bear! This is the artist formerly known as Vinny's Pizza. I attended an impromptu birthday party yesterday and headed to the Boatyard Plaza. What a cool place, very clean with an extra attentive staff... we were at the salad bar and things were quickly replaced ! The pizza was hot, cheesy and as you can see full of toppings . There is ample space for small and large gatherings alike. There is wine and beer available too AND for those that don't wanna go to the location, they have their own delivery. Lastly I've heard the burgers are to die for, will let you know.

    Hair in pizza dough!

The fact that it has games is good, but the pizza is not good pizza. Something about the dough is just off and a bit doughy.

It turned out to be the perfect place to relax with pizza and beer on a sunny coastal afternoon. The beer list had plenty of great options, and the pizza arrived surprisingly fast. We went with a pepperoni pie, and the thin crust was exactly what we were hoping for. It was crispy around the edges with just the right amount of chew and plenty of perfectly crisped pepperoni cups. The atmosphere was laid back and welcoming, making it an easy place to linger after a day on the road. One important thing to know ahead of time is that Piaci is cash only, so come prepared. If you are passing through Fort Bragg and looking for a casual meal with good beer and solid pizza, Piaci is definitely worth the stop.

They have both outdoor and indoor seating, so there are a lot of options, especially if you're with kids. We ordered a salad with arugula and goat cheese, which I enjoyed, although it felt a bit overpriced. We also got the Sicilian pizza with sun-dried tomatoes and feta cheese -- I loved the toppings, and it was very flavorful. All of that was delicious, but what took away from the experience was the crust, which felt too hard and not very chewy.

It seemed like the whole town was closing down around 5 PM, which happened to be right when Cucina Verona was opening for dinner. We were looking for somewhere to eat and, more importantly, somewhere we could relax and unwind after a long day. The moment we walked in, you could feel the warmth of the room. Everyone was incredibly friendly and greeted us with genuine kindness. The service was wonderful, especially our server, Giovanni. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and personable. His service really matched the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. We ordered quite a bit: Antipasti di Formaggio, Garlic Bread, a bowl of Minestrone, Wild Mushroom Risotto with added Salmon, the Surf and Turf (lobster and steak), and the Pizza la Carne, which we took home. Yes, that's a lot of food! Everything was prepared and presented beautifully, and the portions were exactly what we expected for what we ordered. More importantly, the food tasted as good as it looked--which, believe it or not, isn't always the case. My wife and I enjoy ordering a variety of dishes so we can experience different flavors throughout the meal. We usually end up taking quite a bit home because we rarely come close to finishing everything. This time, though, we ate almost everything at the table. The only exception was the pizza, which we intentionally ordered to take with us. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and Giovanni had a lot to do with that. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was excellent, and the food was both well-presented and delicious. I don't like to focus too much on pricing because there is a lot of context that goes into how restaurants price their meals. If that's an important consideration for you, I'd recommend checking out their menu online before visiting. For us, it was a great find, and I'd definitely recommend giving Cucina Verona a visit if you're in the area!

While a table was booked for 6:45 they didn't seat us til 7:!5. The waiter was awful - didn't introduce himself, didn't care about anything (other than maybe his girlfriend in the bar area), knew nothing about the L'Aquila tasting menu and provided no insights to the dishes, charged us $14/martini despite menu stating $8/drink. While the owner's write up and online menu included a dessert (Ferratelle Dolci), no dessert was offered or included at the actual dinner and the server said 'nope - no dessert'. This is so misleading and unexcusable when the promoted dinner menu includes it. Overall a disaster of a dinner - and sadly the food wasn't good either. The tomato starter was uninspired, the pasta cheese sauce hinted of Kraft or pre-packaed, and the lamb skewers were overcooked to the point of being almost jerky. Clearly an owner who spends more time writing his articles than he does training staff, providing food that matches the actual online menu, and ensuring some level of quality. So, can't recommend this place until substantial improvements are made.
