    Korean BBQ

I ordered Korean BBQ sandwich. (Medium) It was a bit spicy but really good! I wish the price is a little more cheaper for not much amount of food for myself. I see some reviews has "not enough filling in the bread" but mine was full as you can see. I was perfectly satisfied with it.

Ordered the lobster salad with balsamic dressing for lunch. Few issues here... Whole green pepper rings, while onion rings are both on my salad yet lunch is delivered to the office with no knife and fork to cut them down. Both seem like an odd addition to a lobster salad but just as you chopped the lettuce, do the same for veggies. A salad of this size needs more than one small dressing. I don't mind paying extra but this little cup barely did anything here. Flavor of the lobster on the salad was decent, nothing to write home about. If I was to order again, I'd try a sandwich instead.

What do you mean the toasters broken? So after our Chili's fiasco from yesterday's lunch break (I know you read that review) we decided to come here. The last time I was at a D'angelo was in ME and I really enjoyed getting a sandwich there. Here not so much. You have two parking options. Either park in front of the restaurant with limited space or you can park in the adjacent Mall parking and walk less then a min. The place isn't big but there's seating and plenty of space to move around. The menu is displayed overhead and easy to read. And so was the sign that said their toaster was broken. Now whether I'm in Subway or Quiznos, I always get my sub toasted so this was a real let down. I decided to get the surf and turf. Remember on the East Coast it's all about the chowder and lobster for me. When my name was called I received two 4" sandwiches one lobster and the other a Philly cheesesteak. Both were ok but I know toasted would be much better. The bread just collapsed on each bite pushing the meat out. Both meat portions were small but it was a special so expected. I just know next time to get one big toasted sandwich instead of two itty-bitty ones. The lobster was ok. I was hoping it would be sweet but sadly nothing special. And for the turf well let's just say it was ok. Overall three stars. The workers were busy with the steady flow of customers and no one was able to bust the tables so during busy hours expect to clean the tables yourself. Sandwiches were average at best for me. Now excuse me, we're not going to be late for class this time. We got.....HOLY COW FIVE MINS!!!!!!! M

Just got a meatball sub. The meatballs were burnt and so was the sauce. Last time I go there

Best sandwich I've had in a long time. I've only been in Newport only a month and I've been there at least once a week. Good sandwiches.

Seafood is on the menu and we started with two stuffies or stuff quahogs and a clam cakes appetizers. Probably too much fried out of the gate but when in Rome... The clam cakes were individual and easier for sharing and were my fav between the two. Stuffie was for old times sake. Had the lobster roll, one of three on a New England vacation. Came with fries. Tasty of course but I think I prefer my bun toasted and the lobster meat in larger pieces rather than chopped up as is the case here. Best was the company catching up with old friends. Less experienced wait staff but it is the summer and these kids need jobs. We were all patient and super upbeat kids working hard to do a good job.

Reservations were easy to make through Resy and we were even able to adjust the time same-day. I had the bolognese which was good, but not $26 good if that makes sense. My fiancé got the chicken sandwich which was "fine" but nothing special. Overall a fine time but would only come back for the views.

And eat here, we did !! YiaYia's was so good. We ordered a bowl of lentil soup to share, which was delicious. Then, we each got our own pita sandwich. My husband ordered the GYRO PITA, which had grilled gyro meat, peppers, tomato, onion & tzatziki sauce, and I ordered an EGGPLANT PITA, which had fresh mozzarella, feta, grilled eggplant & olive oil, sitting open face on some grilled pita bread. We swapped half of our sandwiches, so we could each try the other's. We both liked the gyro pita a little more than mine (the eggplant), but make no mistake, they were BOTH GREAT. His was just a little bit better... so he told me afterward he was sorry he gave up his half sandwich... even though he liked the eggplant. I understood... but was secretly glad I got his half cuz it was really good. : ) We spoke with the owners, who were very nice. They asked us to come back, and while we said we would... and had every intention to do so cuz the food was so good, we just ran ourselves out of time. I was thinking we could get there for breakfast the next day, but it never happened... so for me, that just means we'll have to make good on the deal and get back to Newport (someday) and get that breakfast !! Too bad we live 3,000 miles away. It might take us awhile.
