It had quite a few shrimp, green peppers and hot pepper rings in a red tomato sauce. Just enough heat and spice. This is served over capellini pasta. My husband had chicken Marsala, which comes with two sides. He chose green beans and carrots mixed, and mashed potatoes. He ate all of it except one cutlet, which he brought home. I, too, brought home half my plate. You have to try this place. The food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable for the plate. They are only open for dinner on Friday nights.

The rabe was not too bitter and the chicken was cooked all the way through, but slightly on the dry side. The Italian was not the best I've had. The hard roll was on the softer side. I would recommend that you get it hot if you like a crispy outer crust. The grinder was more bread heavy on the meat to bread ratio. Toppings were onion, banana peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, oil and vinegar.

They have milk options if you are non-dairy. It didn't take long to prepare and it was so smooth with just the right amount of chocolate mixed with coffee taste. I would definitely get another one of these. It made an excellent after meal 'dessert' drink. If you find yourself in Wickford Village, Shayna's has a nice selection of coffee drinks and other beverages to quench your thirst.

The restaurant is bright, clean and inviting. I've been eating at Gansett Wraps for years and somehow I've only ever ordered one thing because it's that good: The Athina with chicken. The balance of ingredients is always perfect and I love the crunchy vegetables paired with hummus and balsamic. I never leave without an order of falafel and hummus, too. My first visit to this location included a small order mix-up, but the staff was friendly, helpful and quick to make it right. Customer service like that goes a long way in my book.
