Great location, selection and very reasonable prices!!! I was so happily surprised that I was not about to get ripped off. I am definitely coming back for more. Perfect for breakfast and lunch. 9 tables for 2 that can be moved to a table for 4. Bathrooms are outside around the back, though.

The service was great, the ambiance was giving cozy small town vibes, and their sandwiches were delicious! I got the "Beenana" peanut butter honey banana sandwich (make sure you have water if you try this because it does make you thirsty). Would definitely come back and would recommend!! They also have some yummy looking smoothies that i would love to come back and try.

Came here for lunch on a Friday around 11:30. I was able to get a parking spot in the lot under construction just down the street which was nice. Was really excited to try these sandwiches and they did not disappoint! I wanted to try so many of the sandwiches. It was hard to decide what to order. There was a small line to order. I chose the Hussey Bridge warmed. It took about 15 minutes for the sandwich to come out. There are some tables inside and outside in the front and side. I loved this sandwich. It was exactly what I wanted. The bread was crispy and the flavors worked so well. The cheese was melted and it was just great! Prices were a little high for just a sandwich ~$16 but I would am happy to pay that for the delicious sandwich! Would love to come back and try a different sandwich or the same one! Yum!

Cute sandwich shop in Wickford that is worth visiting if you have patience and time. It is busy, with limited seating, but they make a great sandwich. Too busy to clean as the go or do maintenance apparently (see picture). Only self-order food at the counter available. I would give higher review if they cleaned up and did some maintenance.

    Oatmeal cookie-so good!

Once again Shayna's did not disappoint! The cranberry chutney makes the Gilbert Stuart truly finger licking good! The oatmeal cookie was rich and soft and yummy!! The maple latte was really creamy and had hints of maple throughout. Perfection! My friend who was visiting from Costa Rica got the clam chowder-it truly smelled intriguing to me and she Raved about it!!

I love this sandwich. The turkey is good quality, the cranberry jam is excellent, and the cheese is great. I don't even generally like sprouts but they go perfectly in this sandwich. There's a reason this place is always crowded and has the awards it does! The only thing keeping it from five stars for me is that I wish there was a bit less meat, as some bites lose the other ingredient combinations, but that's likely personal preference. I'll definitely return and order this again!!

I am on the hunt for the best Italian Sangwich in Rhode Island. Today, my journey took me to Shayna's Place in Wickford. This charming spot can be found right on one of the main roads that run through downtown Wickford. Inside, you're warmly greeted by friendly staff who are happy to answer questions, and offer accommodations for whatever you may need. The space is clean, open and welcoming with greenery around to give the space that "c'mon in and stay a while" feeling. I got the Vinny, their version of a RI classic. Overall, the sangwich was 8.5/10. The homemade ciabatta was delicious, the meats sliced thin and were easy to eat. All the ingredients tasted fresh and prepared with love. It comes with Shayna's dressing, which while tasty, was a little sweet for my personal tastes. Overall a lovely experience and I will definitely go back again to try other selections! They also offer breakfast and specialty coffees so keep this spot in mind for breakfast or lunch!

Heard this was voted the #1 sandwich shop in Rhode Island! Paid $20 for a sandwich and a cookie, which is pretty pricey in my book, but the cookie was great and only $3! Unfortunately they definitely forgot about my order because my friend who ordered after me and the four people after that all got their sandwiches first. All to say it's a bit slow. I got the Gilbert Stuart without mayo, chutney, and cheese-- it was fine, but nothing to call home about (though it could be because I removed stuff). I also said I did not want a pickle and they put one anyway, which is fine but feels wasteful and left pickle juice! The cafe itself is super cute and the people seem nice. My friend enjoyed fig sandwich and gave it a 8/10. My overall review is probably 3.5 stars.

Coffee is delicious, I got an iced maple latte made with local maple syrup and it was the perfect level of sweetness. The sandwiches are top notch - why else would they be #1 in RI for sandwhiches? I got the wick fig and it was amazing. Every bite has flavor right to the butt of the sandwhich. I've been here to get their smoothies before and those are also delicious. It's beautiful out finally and their outdoor seating is quaint and beautiful by the wickford waterfront. Bathrooms are a short walk outback and look handicap accessible. Every time I come back I remember i need to actually come even more often! Service is always friendly and QUICK. It wasn't that busy today, but I've been here when it was and the service was still fast.

Food is so good! I got an iced latte and the Peace Train sandwich with turkey added. Staff is so sweet and friendly.

First time visiting Shayna's for the yelp elite event and glad we did! This spot is a small, cozy shop with several tables for seating and is very busy, sandwiches are their specialty but they also have coffees, baked goods, salads, fresh juices and smoothies! The sandwiches were super fresh and could tell they use high quality ingredients. I got the meatball on ciabatta and it was delicious! To top it off their staff were very busy and still maintained great service, very friendly and knowledgeable!

For a space that a realtor would describe as "cozy", they really make the most of it. Bright colored furniture and walls adorned with local art add light and an invitation to stick around a hang for a while. The woman at the counter was helpful in telling us what was part of the event and upgrade options. We chose to have the grilled cheese panini and the Fancy Italy. We found a seat at one of the tables and shortly after, our sandwiches were served. The sandwiches were well assembled and pressed to perfection, toasting the bread without sacrificing its soft interior and warming the ingredients through. The Fancy Italy had finely shaved prosciutto, goat cheese, spinach and fig spread. The ham was sliced so thinly it was easy to bite through and chew. The balance of salty and sweet between the ham and the fig was divine, with the tangy goat cheese rounding out the sandwich to create something delicious. The grilled cheese was pretty straightforward but nothing special. An assortment of cheese I couldn't particularly identify melted together to make a fairly standard grilled cheese. However, you could still tell that even with this simple sandwich, they press and serve with care This spot also offers a selection of smoothies, acai bowls and fresh pressed juices. T's Vault Smoothie & Juice Bar isn't trying to be a sandwich shop, even though it's taking part in the #RIFoodFights Sandwich Showdown this month, it's trying to be a healthy and delicious option while you shop. The aesthetic here speaks of practicality with a pulse - sunshine-yellow walls with a playful fruit logo that manages to avoid the saccharine trappings of most "health food" establishments. No sanctimonious preaching about detoxing your chakras. Just honest food in an honest space, aside from the wall sign providing the benefits of pitata, acai, and guarana. Their grilled cheese is a testament to the beauty of restraint. The bread - crisp outside giving way to cloud-like middle - delivers that textural contradiction that separates civilization from barbarism. A blend of cheddar and American cheese, melted to that precise moment, speaks to someone in the kitchen who knows about timing. It's buttery without apology. The prosciutto sandwich offers a more complex narrative - paper-thin ham playing against the yummy anarchy of fig spread, while goat cheese delivers that farmyard funk. The spinach is there for color, texture, and the lie we tell ourselves about balance. The ham quantity borders on acceptable, but in the grand equation of the sandwich, it works. You won't find pretentious mixologists crafting artisanal açaí potions here. No reclaimed wood harvested by bearded men in flannel. Just decent people making decent food with ingredients that don't require a glossary. This is a culinary middle path - neither fast food purgatory nor precious farm-to-table self-importance. It's the kind of place locals know you by name, where the person behind the counter might remember your order and actually mean it when they ask how you're doing. In a world of excess and Instagram theatrics, there's something warmly authentic about a place that just wants to make you a good sandwich. No bullshit. No pretense. Just care in simple things. And sometimes, between the big box stores and parking lot vastness of suburban RI, that's exactly the kind of unexpected grace we all need.

I am so glad we did, because this is definitely a new favorite spot and worth the drive over the bridges! It was a rainy afternoon, and my grandma and I rolled into their ample parking lot to get some coffee and a midafternoon snack. The shop is sparkling clean with plenty of seating at cafe tables and a cozy couch section. The clientele was a mixture of students from URI and professionals working remotely. All were sipping lattes and seemed happy - a good vibe right from the get go. The barista was upbeat and knowledgeable about the menu, recommending their house made Pumpkin Spice Latte (I had to try it!). I am so glad I did, because theirs is made with pumpkin puree, so it's not sugary or cloying like other varietals you may be familiar with. We were also informed that all their baked goods are made fresh daily, and I was pleased to see the pastry case was clean as well (this is a less common occurrence unfortunately, than you would think). We tried the Blueberry Muffin, and it was FABULOUS! I am already looking forward to going back and trying more. Don't be fooled by the humble roadside plaza exterior- Fuel is certainly worth the stop.
