Such delicious sandwiches and a stellar maple latte! I was very excited to try this place after seeing them make it to Yelp's top eats and top sandwiches! They earned those titles for good reason. Their food is locally sourced and so fresh! All of their sandwiches are phenomenal, especially their grinder! Their house made ciabatta is crispy on the edges and soft in the middle. And the sandwich doesn't fall apart when you eat it. They also have delicious drinks and great service! I recommend (on a nice day) grabbing a sandwich and coffee and heading to the river to eat it.

Cute sandwich shop in Wickford that is worth visiting if you have patience and time. It is busy, with limited seating, but they make a great sandwich. Too busy to clean as the go or do maintenance apparently (see picture). Only self-order food at the counter available. I would give higher review if they cleaned up and did some maintenance.

The service was great, the ambiance was giving cozy small town vibes, and their sandwiches were delicious! I got the "Beenana" peanut butter honey banana sandwich (make sure you have water if you try this because it does make you thirsty). Would definitely come back and would recommend!! They also have some yummy looking smoothies that i would love to come back and try.

Great location, selection and very reasonable prices!!! I was so happily surprised that I was not about to get ripped off. I am definitely coming back for more. Perfect for breakfast and lunch. 9 tables for 2 that can be moved to a table for 4. Bathrooms are outside around the back, though.

Came here for lunch on a Friday around 11:30. I was able to get a parking spot in the lot under construction just down the street which was nice. Was really excited to try these sandwiches and they did not disappoint! I wanted to try so many of the sandwiches. It was hard to decide what to order. There was a small line to order. I chose the Hussey Bridge warmed. It took about 15 minutes for the sandwich to come out. There are some tables inside and outside in the front and side. I loved this sandwich. It was exactly what I wanted. The bread was crispy and the flavors worked so well. The cheese was melted and it was just great! Prices were a little high for just a sandwich ~$16 but I would am happy to pay that for the delicious sandwich! Would love to come back and try a different sandwich or the same one! Yum!

    Oatmeal cookie-so good!

Once again Shayna's did not disappoint! The cranberry chutney makes the Gilbert Stuart truly finger licking good! The oatmeal cookie was rich and soft and yummy!! The maple latte was really creamy and had hints of maple throughout. Perfection! My friend who was visiting from Costa Rica got the clam chowder-it truly smelled intriguing to me and she Raved about it!!

I love this sandwich. The turkey is good quality, the cranberry jam is excellent, and the cheese is great. I don't even generally like sprouts but they go perfectly in this sandwich. There's a reason this place is always crowded and has the awards it does! The only thing keeping it from five stars for me is that I wish there was a bit less meat, as some bites lose the other ingredient combinations, but that's likely personal preference. I'll definitely return and order this again!!

I am on the hunt for the best Italian Sangwich in Rhode Island. Today, my journey took me to Shayna's Place in Wickford. This charming spot can be found right on one of the main roads that run through downtown Wickford. Inside, you're warmly greeted by friendly staff who are happy to answer questions, and offer accommodations for whatever you may need. The space is clean, open and welcoming with greenery around to give the space that "c'mon in and stay a while" feeling. I got the Vinny, their version of a RI classic. Overall, the sangwich was 8.5/10. The homemade ciabatta was delicious, the meats sliced thin and were easy to eat. All the ingredients tasted fresh and prepared with love. It comes with Shayna's dressing, which while tasty, was a little sweet for my personal tastes. Overall a lovely experience and I will definitely go back again to try other selections! They also offer breakfast and specialty coffees so keep this spot in mind for breakfast or lunch!

Heard this was voted the #1 sandwich shop in Rhode Island! Paid $20 for a sandwich and a cookie, which is pretty pricey in my book, but the cookie was great and only $3! Unfortunately they definitely forgot about my order because my friend who ordered after me and the four people after that all got their sandwiches first. All to say it's a bit slow. I got the Gilbert Stuart without mayo, chutney, and cheese-- it was fine, but nothing to call home about (though it could be because I removed stuff). I also said I did not want a pickle and they put one anyway, which is fine but feels wasteful and left pickle juice! The cafe itself is super cute and the people seem nice. My friend enjoyed fig sandwich and gave it a 8/10. My overall review is probably 3.5 stars.

The weather was nice, so we chose to sit out back under the lovely umbrellas and look over the water. They also have adirondack chairs set out, so I imagine it would be a lovely spot for a cocktail and a chat with friends! Our server, Lena, was a DREAM and helped us make our choices. I got a seasonal latte while my partner got the medium-roast pourover coffee. Having had a hard time finding really great coffee recently, we were soooo impressed. They clearly take their coffee program seriously (and now I realize the name should have tipped me off!). The food was equally impressive. It legitimately didn't have to be as good as it was (lol). The yogurt bowl on any menu is usually "meh," but we gave it a try since we wanted some non-meat protein and I am SO glad we did. It was the best yogurt bowl I've ever had- no contest. The whole milk yogurt was creamy; the strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries were ripe; the honey and granola added crunch and some floral sweetness; and the best part was the raspberry preserves they pipe on top. I wish I could recreate this at home! We also loved the lemon poppyseed loaf with blueberry preserves and cream. Another quick brunch addition that could have been simple, but had so much thought put into the flavors. Overall, a big fan and I'll be back!

We asked to sit outside and were stunned by the epic views of the docks that they have. It truly was a breathtaking sight. My only gripe was that it wasn't as shaded (either naturally or by awnings) as I thought it would be which made for a warm experience. However, the staff were great about accommodating any requests to move with some of the available tables they did have. Also, though no fault of their own I kept getting some septic smells in the breeze. It was faint and not all the time but definitely not something you want while having lunch- hopefully whichever business owner or home owner having that issue can get that cleared up. Our waitress was very friendly, attentive but not overbearing, and made sure we were well taken care of. I ordered the fish and chips. Our food came out quickly and everything looked good! Their mango coleslaw is unique but tasty. The fish was nice and flaky with a crispy batter. I found it to be a little greasy but nothing too worrying. Overall, a great meal to have by the water. Yes, there is a bar, BUT it is also a treasured North Kingstown breakfast spot. We arrived on Saturday morning--not crazy busy, but busy enough that having only one server and the owner working at around 10 a.m. did not bode well. That concern quickly faded once we placed our orders. The owner was gracious and helpful and did a good job managing the pace. Our party of three ordered the French Toast TX style -- from a very finicky member of our party making specific customizations -- all accommodated with a smile, a Crow's Nest Benny, and, for me, Tres Quesadilla. Hands down, this was the best presentation of a breakfast quesadilla I have ever ordered. Why? Just look at the accompanying picture. The tortillas were cut into smaller, easier-to-handle, triangular pieces. Tortillas can be messy to eat. The salt potato home fries are probably one of the Top 5 I've ever had in my life. No, really. Very subjective, yes, but if you like your home fries crispy on the outside and not soggy on the inside, flavorful--then you might agree. There are high-top tables and regular tables inside -- plenty of light streaming through the place. You can even have breakfast at the bar. There's also outside seating. The foyer with the living-room-style seating is charming and cozy. I've already been thinking about going back for drinks and sitting in this area. If you don't mind a little drive for brunch and want to try something far from the madding crowd of Providence, this would be it.

We made a new friend before we even walked in the door, which says a lot about the vibe here. There was live music playing, and we wanted to enjoy it while still being able to chat, so we were given a great little corner spot at the bar. Mallory greeted us warmly and gave thoughtful recommendations after I asked a few questions about food intolerances. I really appreciated that. We started with the tostada nachos, which were very tasty and spicy. Then my beau enjoyed the fish and chips and a stuffie and I had the steak frites with parmesan truffle fries. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. We also enjoyed a few cocktails. The blueberry cucumber mule was delicious and I will absolutely be back for another. I made sure to save room for a liquid dessert and ended the night with the hazelnut espresso martini. It did not disappoint. Thank you for a really nice night out. We will be back soon.

The rest of the food was far less fine. One of the specialty menu items is a "PASTRAMI SAMMICH". The house made pastrami was dry and tough, a hard thing to imagine from this particular cut, but this version was cooked to the consistency of leather. Some bits had an inedible crunch. If I were to guess, this sandwich had been left on a grill unattended, not to great effect. Thats definitely what happened to my cheeseburger. I'm limiting the amount of ground beef I eat in an effort toward a healthier me. A burger for me is now a rarest treat.
