Fantastic menu and service. Went for breakfast but an extensive lunch menu too. Highly recommend for food or beverages.

Went in here not knowing what to expect. Ordered a balsamic Robbie roasted red pepper sandwich on a roll. It was delicious.

Love Surftside Deli. Worst service and the food is terrible but the atmosphere is also unpleasant.

But, they always have a great selection of produce that don't look like they've been sitting their for 2 weeks (y'know...wilting and yellowing out). They have great selections of artisan breads from the likes of Seven Stars Bakery. They actually have Mt Hagen instant coffee (about the only instant coffee worth buying). And they even have a pretty good selection of sushi. The staff are always friendly and helpful too. Anybody from out in western MA? This place reminds me of the River Valley Coop in Northampton.

When I unwrapped it to cook, I found that my order consisted of 2 half-pound filets, calling into question whether it was sole at all. More importantly, the fish surface was sticky-slimy, and it had a strong fish smell. I cooked it in meunière style, meaning light cooking in skillet just until it flakes easily. This fish did not flake, it turned to mush. It had a clearly off flavor. It was, in a word, old. Belmont has an impressive produce section, which I admired. But if you can't trust the fish.....

Especially for their weekly sales items, really good deals. We bought this frozen shrimp bag that was on sale, and it has to be some of the best shrimp I've had. In general, I can find anything I need over here, as long as you stay within the realms of western cooking. So, what that entails I can pork loins for a roast. I can find brisket, I can find chuck, I can find...................really thin cuts of ribeye. Like...really really thin. Like, so thin that I could probably cook it medium rare by waving it above my computer case once or twice. Ok, sorry, I digress. If you want to make a ragu sauce, you can find everything that you need here. An alfredo sauce? Yup, that too. Beef stew? Go for it! It also has all the chicken and spices you'd need to make a fried chicken. It does have an international section, but it's..............not impressive. I mean, sure, there's some items, but you can't make a proper anything, tbh. Miso soup? We got half of what you need! Ramen? Uhhh, we got instant. Also have Ramune and Calpis for the weebs. That said, they do have panko if you want to make a katsu. They do have a pretty good produce section. Like, decent selection of fruits that are in season. Plenty of bell peppers, red, orange, yellow, and green. I can usually get jalapenos and habaneros here, although if you're looking for other types of chili peppers, it can be hit or miss. And the habaneros are sometimes still green. No real produce for Asian cooking here (except for shiitake mushrooms), so you won't find anything like burdock root or daikon...maybe bok choy or kabocha every so often. The spice section is pretty nice. Good, wide selection. Most of them are in pretty small containers, though. So if you need anything other than pre-ground cassia (I refuse to call that stuff cinnamon) in a large quantities, you might be out of luck. But...because the spices are in small containers, it's great for sampling. Most of the time when I come here, I like to grab a spice I haven't used before, haven't used in a long time, or haven't learned how to use properly.

Four items were out of stock, and the shopper texted us with substitutions which we could approve or not. Get groceries on your schedule by letting our professionally trained associates do the heavy lifting. Leave something behind? The order --many paper bags-- was placed in the SUV at the appointed time by a friendly worker. This Stop and Shop market is super sized which is great for a resort area near beaches and the coast. There are many departments including a bakery and large deli. There is a large produce area. Also, the market is part of a large NE chain, so not only are prices competitive, they are the same at all locations. There is no price gouging. There is a weekly flyer with items in all departments on sale each week. We have a frequent shopper card, so we receive the sale prices. They have a gas price reduction system based on points earned, if interested.

Let me paint the scene for you: I walked in with the noble goal of ordering a simple broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl nothing outrageous. As I approached the counter, the cashier didn't greet me. Instead, she glared at me like I had personally insulted her grandmother. I asked, politely, if they were still serving soup. Her response? A single word "Obviously" followed by the slowest, most exaggerated eye roll I've ever witnessed outside of a soap opera. But it didn't stop there. I ordered a green tea. The barista threw the cup on the counter so hard it bounced, and when I asked if I could please have a lid, she sighed like I'd asked her to rewrite the Magna Carta. Another staff member nearby whispered under her breath, "He looks like a lid kinda guy," followed by laughter. What does that even mean? Then brace yourself my buzzer went off, so I went up to grab my food. The manager, who looked like she was on her third existential crisis of the morning, yeeted the entire tray onto the pickup counter and yelled, "WHO ORDERED THE BASIC?" Everyone turned to look. I was the only one there. The sandwich was wrong, the soup was cold, and the bread bowl looked like it had been hollowed out by a raccoon with anger issues. When I politely asked for a new one, they handed me a raw baguette and told me to "figure it out." As I sat down, a toddler from the next table looked me in the eye and said, "You should've gone to Chipotle." I did. And it was glorious. Never again, Panera on Old Tower Hill Rd. Never. Again.
