Been here a few times and it seems like it's a big hit! I have gotten iced coffee from here, which is okay. I like their black and white cookies! I've never gotten a bagel because they look too thin. Great, fresh breakfast sandwiches. Unique bagel choices. I love that they had a rosemary olive oil. You don't see that anywhere. Could use more rosemary flavor, but I was happy just to have one! Coffee is decent with lots of choices for flavors and tons of options for dressing it yourself. Service was patient and friendly. Space is huge and great for business or study meetups. Maybe it's the "Z" in "Bagelz" or the fact that this is located in a strip mall in South County, but I've found these bagels to be just meh. I tried the whole wheat and everything bagels with the baggie cream cheese and lox. Cream cheese was really good - had real veggies in there that gave it a real crunch. That being said, the bagels taste like they were ordered from Stop and Shop and lack the freshness that I was hoping for from a more traditional bagel bakery. read more

I was told this was really authentic bagels, but honestly I got a variety and they were all hard, bland and frankly tasteless. Very disappointed in the quality of the bagels. Also bought some cream cheese spreads. The veggie spread hardly had any visible veggies and the lox had no visible trace of salmon. It's as if they grind up the fillings to a fine pulp then mix. Stopped early on a Saturday morning while out shopping for groceries to finally use my free small coffee coupon (with the purchase of $1 or more). I had previously been to Bagelz at the URI campus so was excited to see this spacious location in the heart of Wakefield. This location is large with ample parking right out front, lots of seating inside, and even patio seating when the weather permits. I was surprised upon entering to see how big it was inside. A cute and cozy cafe! Now the bagels, wow! These are the best bagels that I've had in the area. They are fresh, chewy and overall make a delightful breakfast. Top with cream cheese or build a sandwich, and you have a satisfying morning meal. We ordered two bagels both with cream cheese, a small (free) coffee and a bottle of water for $5. My boyfriend said the coffee was very good as well. We'll be back for fresh bagels! read more

I've worked in Wakefield for two years now, and this is my favorite spot if I'm feeling like being indulgent for breakfast or lunch. Their salt bagels are insaaaaanely good and insaaaaanely bad for you. It's a catch 22 I'm willing to deal with. Their coffee isn't the best, but they have nitro cold brew which is pretty great, and they make "razzbulls" - a red bull with raspberry syrup over ice. If that sounds like your kind of thing switch out the raspberry syrup with strawberry, you can thank me later. read more

This place is hidden but it is delicious. They, unfortunately, do not have gluten-free bagels which is what I was looking for. But their gluten-free rolls are amazing. Walked in on a Saturday morning excited to grab some bagels and coffee... extremely disappointed. Two workers on, one very nice and the other was the rudest person I have ever met. Screaming at her coworker behind the counter in front of the long line over putting an extra piece of bacon on a bagel. When it was time to order the girl had an extreme attitude with us yelling "any else" and rolling her eyes. Bagels were okay but eggs were microwaved... caramel lattes had no flavor. Honestly used to frequent Bagelz back in my college days, and was in the area so gave it a go again. I would say the cinnamon raisin bagel with lite cream cheese was just average quality bagel. The cream cheese wasn't completely spread over the bagel. If you are looking for a different flavor than a typical bagel shop then this may be the place for you. The amount of iced coffee flavors is definitely lacking considering all of the other great iced coffee places in the area. Definitely a good place to study or grab a bite to eat but I also think there's some better options in the area, considering it's such a college community read more

Bagelz is a long-time establishment in my hometown, and I've been coming here since I was in high school. This weekend, I took some out-of-town friends there for a local bite to eat before jumping on the Block Island ferry. The food, per the usual, was excellent! The bagels were chewy, the cream cheese plentiful, and the coffee flavorful. Based on food alone, I'd probably go with a five star rating. However, the system they use to serve people seemed really odd to me. It took about 25 minutes for four of us to each get a bagel and coffee. They had three people furiously working behind the counter, so it wasn't like anyone was slacking, but the system just seemed inefficient. One person would take your order, that same person would fulfill your order, then that same person would ring you out. It resulted in a lot of employees looking at us and saying "Have you been helped?" and us responding with, "Yes, but we still need to pay," and then they'd move on to the next party without checking us out. It also resulted in large groups of people congregating near the register, waiting to pay, creating a little bit of a jam. It just seemed inefficient to me. We were worried at one point if we were going to make the ferry so we took our food to go. All in all, food = good. Service = helpful employees, but a strange system. read more

I love bagels in general and naturally I'm drawn to place called "Bagelz". I prefer this Wakefield location to their Kingston location. They are slightly expensive, but delicious and worth it. Their cinnamon sugar bagels are very good with some low fat plain cream cheese. My favorite is a plain bagel toasted with lox spread (smoked salmon cream cheese). Lox spread may sound weird to some, but it is absolutely out of this world and I come to Bagelz just for that. Their bagels always seem to be fresh and they're typically never over-toasted, which keeps me coming back. They also have a frequent coffee card, which makes purchasing their coffee a no-brainer. You can add any flavor you want and mix them as well. This location is better because of the service and convenient parking. It's also a better study spot because it filters out quickly and isn't overly crowded with other URI students. The staff is friendly and always gets your order correct. When I'm in the area, I'll continue to return. The only thing I'm not the biggest fan of is the fact that they microwave their eggs for their egg sandwiches. Not a lot of fast oriented breakfast places around this area actually fry an egg, which is disappointing, but it's okay for me because I don't come here for the breakfast sandwiches. read more

The staff is nice, atmosphere is welcoming, and iced coffee is good. I got the banana flavor. It lacks the extensive number of flavors some places have though, fyi. I was very turned off by being handed my iced coffee in a big styrofoam cup, so unneccesary. They sell natural oatmeal and have a Little Rhody milk dispenser and these are good things but you can't act like you are all supporting the local and all natural movement when you use styrofoam. I wouldn't go again unless they are willing to fill my own to go coffee cup. read more

I tried this place out and it was okay, the bagels weren't nearly as fresh as I was hoping for considering I was there around 8am in the morning. The egg sandwiches could have used a little more meat but I can't complain about it. The ambience is really nice, place is pretty big but it doesn't seem like many people hang out there. College kids working too busy comparing coffee to Guinness beer to their customers - also student friends. I come here often in summer with no.problems but this is just ridiculous. I was disappointed upon visiting on Saturday July 31 at 1:00pm to find they were sold out of bagels.

I had a bacon and cheese on one of the rainbow/colored bagels and it was pretty good. The only problem was these bagels ended up being 3x smaller than a normal bagel, leaving me feeling hungry still. The coffee was excellent, both the flavor shots and the rocky road cold brew were fantastic. There seemed to be a small disagreement between the owner and an employee while we were there but nothing too extreme. read more

Hands down my favorite coffee shop in South County. I fell in love with them while at school at URI. They have an awesome variety of bagels and the best flavored coffee (turtle mocha is my fav!) Also, they collaborate with other local businesses, too! They carry The Nitro Cart coffee and now Allie's Donuts! Just keeps getting better. read more

I ordered a lox bagel and smores brew iced coffee. The lox was very fresh and the bagel was soft and chewy, yet perfectly crunchy from toasting. The ice coffee also was good, but I wish they had whole milk ask an option. You can self pour 1% milk, soy milk, or creamer. I didn't ask so maybe they have it in the back. The service was excellent.
