Well a very disappointing food ding experience all the way around. Our waitress was showing a less enthusiastic attitude towards us but not other diners. We put that aside and said let's wait for our meals. Disappointing again. My wife ordered the 'homemade' corned beef hash special and nothing special or homemade, tasted like right out of a can from Sysco Foodservice. Her home fries were well over done. My meal was a special omelette with 'small batch' sausage and apples with cheddar. How does a short order cook over cook (dead on arrival) eggs to the point they're dry ? Good breakfast ... great friendly service by Angel! I'd go back and would recommend T's for breakfast. My wife had the Eggs Benedict with Spinach and I had the regular Eggs Benedict! Both were good but I was still hungry after so I ordered the little dough boys... with maple syrup which were awesome! Very crowded place for Mother's Day but I get the sense it will always be crowded on the weekends. When we arrived it was a 35 minute wait but I think we lucked out because all big parties looking to get seated. We ended up waiting just 10minutes. Nice & clean establishment. We're from New York, but are in Rhode Island several times a year, and ALWAYS have breakfast at T's. While I still give them 4-Stars (not 5-stars, due to the following), I have one issue... and this is not a reflection on the servers or workers there. This is on management... THEY CHARGE 0.99 FOR A STRAW? C'mon, really? I just noticed it on the last bill. They could have been doing this for awhile. It's really not the extra $1... its the principle. Everything is good here, and while prices are fair, is charging $1 for a straw really necessary? MY price on amazon is about 1cent per straw. No coffee. No menu. No service. Friday 10:00 a.m. after Thanksgiving the restaurant appears to be at about 50% capacity and there are staff visible. No one at the host stand and people looking confused, so I seat myself at the counter, as one does in a diner. And when I sit at a counter I'm always ready to order. Servers are moving around. Food seems to be coming out of the kitchen. However my only entertainment is a display of cutlery rolling. The other gentleman at the counter is staring bored at his phone. Two ladies are seated and given menus and then also ignored. Three of us walked out and no one cared. The concept of an American diner is pretty basic, but T's has failed at it. It's sad because this is my second trip there since Phil's restaurant closed, leaving us without a good diner. The first time it was with a small group and the food was reasonably brisk and tasty. Stopped here for a quick lunch on a weekday. Not particularly busy, but popular with the older community. The interior was decorated well and fit the beachy and classy vibe of the town. Food took a bit to come out and when it did we did not receive one of the items we ordered, which is always dissapointing. Couldn't find the server through the duration of our meal so we went without this item. She did take it off the bill, which is the least she could do. Food was reasonably priced. Myself and two friends had breakfast here this morning. We are locals near the Narragansett location and we try go to T's if we want an "upscale" breakfast. All three of us were incredibly disappointed today. They used to serve Canadian thick style bacon but today's was merely thin strips of ordinary bacon and English muffins which used to be oversized now appeared to be miniature. Instead of getting two slices of toast with the big breakfast meal you only get one and the fruit bowl was embarrassing as the tiny bowl itself was only half filled. Our waitress was very nice and we explained our concerns. She said there were many complaints and she was very sorry. I wouldn't waste my money going back and definitely will not bring my seasonal visitors there for breakfast again. read more

We were there Over URI family weekend, so town was especially busy. Our wait was 30 minutes. You can put your name in online ahead of time, reservations are taken only 24 hours in advance not less. Unfortunately, the online "waitlist" was inaccurate and apparently not updating because when we checked three times the hour prior to arriving, it showed as "no wait". I found that odd, knowing how busy the weekend was going to be and we showed up to a 30 minute wait. The restaurant itself is quite beautiful and the menu has some thing for everyone. Decor was great, very sailboat /beachy. The highlight honestly was our waitress Amanda who was awesome. Incredibly efficient, super upbeat and friendly and got the job done, order taken quickly but we didn't feel rushed at all. Even my own teenage kids commented on what a great waitress she was. All the staff, even the hostesses were very friendly and accommodating. Everyone was happy with the food, I was unable to get photos before people started digging in but everything from pancakes, French toast, omelettes, eggs Benedict, bacon, sausage, etc. home fries perfect. The only thing I can say slightly negative is that the avocado was rock hard, which was a real bummer when you love avocado, but that happens when I guess you run out of ripe avocados. Too bad, would have made my meal a perfect 10. The only "cons" about the place at all was the incessant, LOUD ringing of the phone that was amplified from behind the bar. Drove me nuts. Clearly the place is busy, but this ruined the beautiful and pleasant atmosphere for me. Honestly it didn't stop and was insanely loud. That would be my only recommendation, I don't think it is necessary to have a phone system blaring throughout the restaurant. My guess is it could be localized to the hostess station phone which is where they were answering the phone. I don't think a call would go missed with having two people standing at the hostess station at all times. The only other downside was the ladies room, I don't know about the men's room since I did not go in but my feet literally were sticking to the floor. Restroom in general was not clean, toilets, sink area and I know it's tough when you are as busy as they are but the floors definitely were dirty in general to have them be sticking like that at 9 AM in the morning. Floors need a really good scrub and overall cleaning. Outside of that, i liked this restaurant and we will be going back again for sure, looking forward to trying other things on the menu.
