We came for breakfast and I got the egg sandwich. I have a high bar for these and Chelsea's knows what they're doing. Kids had two HUGE pancakes. The surprise was the side of fruit cup : super fresh and no filler fruit to boot! Hard to beat the price too

My go-to brunch place in the Newport/Middletown area! They have a special breakfast menu on the weekends and they never disappoint. Prices are very good compared to other breakfast joints around and I've never had to wait for a table (unlike a certain place on Broadway that has a line wrapped around the building). It's good hearty breakfast, the hollandaise is delicious and the eggs are almost always poached well. They do a softer breakfast potato but well seasoned and never underdone. Some of their weekend breakfast menu is consistent week to week but occasionally they have some gems that I've only seen shown up once or twice, such as strawberry and cream cheese stuffed french toast. Parking is breeze. They have a parking lot in front, a bit small, but since they have fast service and people are constantly coming and going, I've never had an issue finding a spot in the lot.

Stopped by for a late breakfast and liked the cozy feel of the place. The server seemed to know everybody and treated us sweetly despite having lost her voice. Ordered the omelet specials for the day: greek (feta, tomato, spinach) with rye bread and potatoes mushroom-sausage-spinach-broccoli with wheat bread and potatoes Food came out fast. Omelets were unusually shaped for me (thin and square). TONS of cheese and fresh toppings, crispy potatoes, and well-buttered bread with complementary jam Super affordable, generously portioned food with diner feels in a small town. Would stop by again.

Not quite sure how I feel about this place. I feel it's definitely a "locals" joint. The staff wasn't super friendly, they all seemed annoyed with one another, the waitress never came back to the table to see if we needed anything after our breakfast arrived and I just didn't get the warm and fuzzies here. I ordered a chocolate milk and the waitress came out with a bottle of Nesquik. Not a fan of that at all. To me it shows laziness and I would much rather have a freshly mixed chocolate milk with a bubble on top. Shortcuts don't impress me at restaurants. Food was descent, I had the Blueberry Stuffed French Toast. It was basically cream cheese with blueberries mixed in between two slices of bread. The flavor was really good, though it could have been hotter because many of my bites had stone cold cream cheese like it just came out of the refrigerator. The home fries were pretty good. (More flavorful than most). Bottom line, I like friendly, attentive people and we just didn't get that here. Felt like a "get em in and get em out" kinda place. Probably won't be back.

Cute little place for breakfast in Middletown. It's not fancy or trendy, like many of the cafes in town. Instead, Chelsea's has a real local vibe. Don't look for menus on the table. Just look up st the board for the menu and the specials. Both of us ordered specials, the Stuffed French Toast for 14 year old and the Omelet of the day for me. Both had a home cooked flavor and were delicious! The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Prices are very reasonable. Just remember to bring cash or you can use the ATM on the premises.

Ever in search of awesome options for breakfast we thought that we would try Chelsea's. First off, they are cash only... I know it costs an extra percentage to use a credit card machine, but sorry, that is just the price of doing business in this modern age. I have been to the smallest of shops in the most remote locations that accept credit cards; there is just no excuse. Enough of my rant and on to my review. So the inside gives off a cute diner feel. We were told to sit where we want and had plenty of options. The menu board is above the counter, so get a good look there at all that is going on before placing your order. I opted for a ham and cheese omelette with a side of home fries, and my wife chose blueberry stuffed French toast. The food came out remarkably fast and we instantly noticed a few oddities. Being a non-coffee drinker, my wife always orders chocolate milk to drink. We have been to breakfast at countless places and experienced limitless options of making this simple beverage... Chelsea's, however, opts to not make it at all and simply give you a bottle of nesquick, as if we were at Dunkin' Donuts... The second oddity i noticed was that my toast was presented whole (uncut) on a small paper plate. I have seen debates whether toast should be cut diagonally or lengthwise, but never whole... and then to get a paper plate involved is just strange in my opinion. The overall presentation of food showed that no love (or effort) was put into playing it. My omelette was not folded and just kind of flopped on the plate. I am not saying that a Michelin chef needs to get involved, but just try to take some pride in your work! Even the staff seemed to be bickering with each other and seemed rather unprofessional. The overall taste of the food was good. My omelette and a good ham to cheese ratio, and the home fries were tasty and did not require ketchup. That is what gets the stars... The overall vibe of this place, however, is rather negative and I don't plan to be back for that reason. I don't care if you hate your job or your coworkers, just don't let your customers know!

Our group was VERY close to heading downtown into New Port for breakfast because we didn't have cash for this joint. Luckily, a member of our tribe had a cash flow to front the group and we ventured to Chelsea's which was 2 minute fro our hotel. AND BOY, were WE HAPPY ABOUT THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE. Start to finish, Chelsea's was dope. The whole environment was so warm and family centered. We were greeted by the lovely team and were blown away with the prices. Dirt cheap. Normally, this leads to poor food in NYC. But, we weren't in NYC anymore. What we got: -OmLIT was excellent. So large and in charge. Was different options with a side of home fries that were cooked to perfection. -Cheese Burger (yes for breakfast). It WAS excellent. Super flavorful with a crap ton to toppings. Even an egg! ($4.95). Can't beat that! Gosh. If you're around the area you must stop by here for some great home cooking and a great environment. You also cannot beat the price. Totaling out to sub 70$ for 7 (yes, 7!) people.

The home cooked breakfast grub is truly worth it, and they turn tables pretty quickly, so you shouldn't be waiting for too long before you can sit in a comfy booth and dig into fluffy pancakes, perfect omelettes, and the best hash brown potatoes ever! The inside of the restaurant is casual, with surf inspired decor, chalkboards listing daily specials, and a full service bar with TVs broadcasting the latest game. Atlantic Grille is family friendly, so if you are looking for a chic girls brunch spot or something quiet and reserved, this may not be the place for you. However, if you are looking for classic breakfast fare at a good price in a fun and convivial environment, this is the place to go.
