Good food, nice atmosphere, and Brittany K was friendly and funny! Steak was perfectly cooked.

What a yummy find! Everything our group ordered was delicious. I am still blown away by the portion sizes- no one will leave this table still hungry. A very cozy spot and for a bigger group the service was quite timely. Would definitely return here!

Food was good. Clam chowder was tasty with chunks of clam and potatoes. My husband had the French onion and while it was good he said he missed the caramelized onions they have in other restaurants. We had the lobster mac and cheese bites and they were also quite good. The sauce made the bites even tastier. We finished it off with a scallop and bacon pizza which was cheesy, bacony and had some very tender scallops on it. Can't believe we ate it all! My pineapple bomb was tasty and the classic mojito, while heavy on the mint, was refreshing as well. Overall a delightful meal.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. The place was busy but we didn't wait long. The ambiance is seafood everywhere and I assume they are known for that. We tried the loaded nachos for an app. This was piled high with cheese and chili. It was tasty and satisfying and plenty for a meal itself. We also tried the BLT chicken salad sandwich which sounded so good but the chicken salad reminded me of the type you get from the deli at the grocery store that was prepackaged. I would have like this to look and taste more like homemade chicken salad. The coleslaw was really tasty and the fries cooked well.

I ordered the lobster roll after reading the reviews and seeing the pictures. It was tasty, but fyi- it is not nearly as generous as the ones pictured in the past reviews, which was why I had ordered it in the first place. Service at the bar was friendly.

Around 11:45am, while visiting my brother on a Coast Guard security detail, we settled on Atlantic Grill. They serve breakfast until 2pm daily (we went on a Sunday). The restaurant was about half full; the hostess said it would be about a 10 to 15 min wait for a party of 5. We were still waiting for the other 2 to arrive, so we were fine waiting. The wait ended up being 5 mins. We were tucked in a corner where one half of the table had booth seating & the other had 2 chairs. The atmosphere is nice; lots of surfboards hanging on the walls & other nautical décor. The noise level was moderate. It appeared that other patrons were satisfied with their food & service. Our waitress was quick to take our drink orders & brought them right over. She knew that we were still waiting for the 2 others so it didn't bother us that she didn't ask us what we would like to order. About 15 mins later, they had arrived & again, she was quick to take the drink orders for them. We weren't quite ready to to order so she gave us a bit more time. We placed an order for the Will's Philly Nachos (full) - HUGE portion that the 5 of us couldn't finish! We had a mix of lunch & breakfast ordered. I had the Scallop Caesar salad. I was so full from the nachos I had to take my salad back with me, but I enjoyed the concept & the scallops were cooked well. My brother had the Beach Melt; it was PACKED with tuna! The french fries were pretty good (I stole one)! My mother had the Sam Adams Fish & Chips & she said it was delicious but she couldn't finish it. It was a decently sized piece of fish. The other 2 had breakfast; the pancakes were HUGE & fluffy. It looked like the corned beef hash was made in-house. I felt like when were finished & it was obvious, our waitress seemed to be absent for quite some time. We were all chatting & catching up so that filled the time, but if we had somewhere to be...well, then we might've been impatient, to say the least. Another waitress came by to clear some of our plates, which we appreciated because they were all over the table. I don't visit Newport, RI & it was my first time there, so I can't say I'd go back. However, in the off chance I do visit again, I would return & try some things off of the breakfast menu.

Solid food and provides breakfast lunch and dinner. Great Eggs Benedict- with lobster! Delicious omelette with lots of bacon and mushrooms. They don't overcook the omelette like some places. AWSOME! Great Fish and Chips too

The Atlantic Grill was a recommendation while we were staying at our bungalow here in the Middletown/Newport Rhode Island area. It was an amazing experience five stars, we ordered breakfast here and had excellent service, the place is super clean, amazing food surf piping hot coffee came around twice and fun atmosphere. This is a top-notch place to experience a seafood dining on the wharf!!!

Adequate. Family style restaurant at the Denny's quality level. Don't expect fresh seafood. I'm pretty sure it's all from frozen. It's food . Not much else to say about it.

We just had another fabulous dinner at Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant--our second time dining here…read moresince last fall, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. We arrived a little early for our 4:00 p.m. reservation, and the place was already packed. While we waited by the bar, a very nice waitress took our drink order--a lemon drop martini, beautifully crafted, well-balanced, and pleasantly strong. We were seated shortly after and, of course, ordered another. (Both times, I took several sips before remembering to take a photo!) Our waitress, Mikela, was truly lovely--sincere, sweet, and very courteous. She was attentive throughout the meal without ever being intrusive, which made the experience feel relaxed and effortless. At the end, I told her I wished I could give her 6 stars, but Yelp only allows 5. For dinner, we both ordered the seared rare ahi tuna steak. I had mine with garlic bread, while my husband chose mashed potatoes. I also added the $9.95 salad buffet, which is such a great deal--you definitely won't leave hungry. I especially love their buffet-style salad bar, which offers nearly every option one could want. Both of our ahi tuna steaks were fantastic--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Once again, I dug into my tuna before remembering to take a photo! We finished the meal with a cheesecake to share--another delicious ending to a wonderful dinner. We're already planning our next visit--there are still so many dishes and drinks we'd love to try.

Our waiter was kind, attentive, and very patient with us as we managed two hangry kids. One employee who was on break even helped me find a quiet spot to take a work call which I really appreciated. The kids' meal came out almost immediately. My son got the cheeseburger, and I was surprised by how big it was. It was adult sized, and he enjoyed and finished all of it. The mussels were the standout of the meal and the best I've personally had. They were incredibly fresh with no fishy smell and the broth was so flavorful. The bread that came with it was perfect for soaking up every last bit of the broth. The salmon was very fresh and cooked well. The shrimp scampi was also really good. The clam chowder was an 8 out of 10 for me. Not the best I've ever had but definitely one of the better ones. Pricing was mid range and felt fair for the quality of the food and the portions. Overall, we were really happy with the meal. Great service, fresh seafood, generous kids' portions, and a fun atmosphere. I'd definitely come back, especially for the mussels.

Not too much flavor, but I loved the addition of the prosciutto to the beef. The lobster bisque was just ok as well, tasted too much of just cream. The star of the dinner was the beef tartare, surprisingly. It was extremely flavorful, with all sorts of spices mixed into the beef, notably capers and cornichons. Delicious and served with amazing homemade potato chips. Service was good and dress code was more relaxed than I had imagined, so that was nice as well. Bread pudding and Tavern Candy Bar are delightful dessert options as well.

Our server Alexandria was most personable and attentive and was prompt without rushing us. We decided to share a couple of dishes: the Antipasti had a very good selection of meats, cheese, hot olives and grilled garlic bread, and excellent house-made chips. This was followed by a a very thin crusted mushroom pizza which was well worth having: actually quite delicious. The check for the three of us came to $88 - well worth it. We had parked at a lot nearby for $20 a day and walked over for our event, but there is also a lot right in front of the Mooring - I believe it is paid parking but maybe it gets validated (?), not sure. Anyways, when we walked in, it gave me Titanic vibes because of the semi dim lighting, nautical theme, the water across building, and white, brown, and copper colors all around. We were seated at a table inside, part booth, part chairs. Since it was late, I did not want anything too heavy. We started with 4 shrimp which were big and juicy and came with cocktail sauce/horseradish. Next, we shared the calamari. I was happy with the flavor, crispiness, the almost 1:1 ratio of rings to tentacles, and the scattered pieces of fried banana peppers (my favorite!). The sauce it came with tasted homemade and I love that it was more than just tomatoes - there were pieces of herbs and garlic too. The entrees we ordered came soon after: the chicken ($25) and the whole roasted fish ($39). The chicken plate looked and tasted fantastic. The chicken was well seasoned with a solid crispy finish to the skin. The mashed potatoes were very smooth and tasty and the broccolini was lightly cooked in what seemed to be a buttery sauce. The sauce on the outside was spectacular and so was the chimichurri over the chicken. Everything came together really well. The baked fish on the other hand seemed to be the complete opposite where everything did taste fresh and healthy, but that meant compromising flavor. The fish (porgies) was about 8 inches long including head and tail. It was stuffed with some herbs, but it didn't come with any sauce or seasoning. The fingerling potatoes were also just roasted and the broccolini just steamed or roasted with no trace of salt or pepper at the bare minimum. The salad was arugula and I think it might've had thin shavings of jicama, but no dressing. I was disappointed with my meal because of the lack of flavor and creativity; I wished I had ordered the seafood pasta, but it felt too heavy for the time of day. For the ambiance and prestige, I felt the prices were okay. The service is great; we had a kind and attentive waiter.
