    Choc mint cake
    Kathy M.

I was at a friend's house and didn't eat dinner and found this place on Google! What a find! I ordered shrimp tacos and loaded tots! You don't see a picture because inhaled my entire meal. It was so good! (Gotta try the Andes candy mint choc cake too) The portions are so good! They're in Jamestown so if you're in the area stop in. John, the preparer, was nice and the hostess was so pleasant (I didn't catch her name so I'll call her N. Prov) The tacos have a kick to them as they should. I did take out, but this small restaurant is cozy and decorated nicely for the season! High 5

Street corn -delicious but slightly deflated and burnt.

We got takeout and ate in our car by the pier. There's very little contact required to do this. Cool feature when I called to order was they texted me the specials. We loved the shrimp tacos - so fresh and tasty. We had a lobster roll with truffle fries which was also good. I personally like mine simple and they add onion and celery. And we really liked the seasoning on the street corn but the corn seemed precooked - I was looking for the kernels to pop in my mouth. We will definitely go back. The prices were so affordable and there is a lovely outdoor area for the local eateries to share where Narragansett cafe serves adult beverages. Beavertail state park was our reason for going to Jamestown. It was nice to see the eateries are doing what they can to thrive. One place near the pier that looks like it normally is a burger place had an open window for ice cream take out.

Very cute little surprise. We went based on yelp reviews and they were spot on. Service was incredible. Food was very good - similar to a fancy high priced restaurant. We got loaded tater tots - very good. Papadalle bolognese and mushroom ravioli for entrees. Also very good. A little pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Food takes a little while because everything is clearly made fresh

HUGE Autumn Salad! Was two meals, and delicious!!!!!!! So glad I stopped by!

I was in Jamestown for a week in February 2021, and picked up dinner twice here because it was so good on the first night I arrived when I was looking to grab takeout. The restaurant is not seating people indoors right now, but facebook was up-to-date with specials and the menu. I went inside and everyone working there was pleasant and friendly. They were also helpful when I asked questions on the phone to try to figure out what to order. My Autumn Salad was AMAZING!!! It was a bit pricey at $18.95, or so I thought initially, but it was so heavy and full that it ended up being dinner that night and lunch the next day! So, for two meals $19 isn't bad at all! I loved it and almost wish I ordered it again while I was there. On my last snowy night in Jamestown I ordered the teriyaki salmon here. I asked for it medium rare and it was on the less cooked side for me, which was awesome, but it was a little salty. Now, while I say that, it's my own fault. There was nothing wrong with this salmon at all, I know that teriyaki sauce is always salty so I got what I asked for. Due to it being off season and a pandemic, not everything was in stock but I was perfectly happy to get the roasted potatoes on the side since they were out of rice that was supposed to come with it. I'd definitely return here when in the area, to try more of their dishes! The restaurant was cute and looked very clean, and I'd love to eat there someday when indoor dining is an option again! Check this place out!

Take out under the Jamestown Bridge! The chocolate chip bread pudding is beyond good!

The food is all homemade and beyond delicious! Chef's have a combined 30+years experience and it shows! Amazing Italian dishes, homemade desserts, pizza for kids, gourmet for adults, American specialities, grilled dishes for the healthy! Super cute interior ... full take out menu!

This took 20 minutes to come out and it only came because the hostess noticed I was waiting for so long for a cup of chowder to go. So, I get back to where I was staying and....no spoon! Are you kidding? The taste was ok and the homemade oyster crackers added a salty taste to the chowder for balance. But there were only tiny flecks of fish in the chowder. One and done on this place. The weather was nice, so we chose to sit out back under the lovely umbrellas and look over the water. They also have adirondack chairs set out, so I imagine it would be a lovely spot for a cocktail and a chat with friends! Our server, Lena, was a DREAM and helped us make our choices. I got a seasonal latte while my partner got the medium-roast pourover coffee. Having had a hard time finding really great coffee recently, we were soooo impressed. They clearly take their coffee program seriously (and now I realize the name should have tipped me off!). The food was equally impressive. It legitimately didn't have to be as good as it was (lol). The yogurt bowl on any menu is usually "meh," but we gave it a try since we wanted some non-meat protein and I am SO glad we did. It was the best yogurt bowl I've ever had- no contest. The whole milk yogurt was creamy; the strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries were ripe; the honey and granola added crunch and some floral sweetness; and the best part was the raspberry preserves they pipe on top. I wish I could recreate this at home! We also loved the lemon poppyseed loaf with blueberry preserves and cream. Another quick brunch addition that could have been simple, but had so much thought put into the flavors. Overall, a big fan and I'll be back!

Very friendly greeting and service at hostess stand (we had to wait for our table 15 min but no problem, they were on it). Waitress was just ok, good enough but not attentive and we had long waits before she reappeared. Food was average. Zucchini chips were a surprise hit, very lightly fried (and I usually don't do anything fried), dip with it was very good. Caesar salads were generously sized and crunchy good, dressing solid. For entrees our table had 2 baked cod, both were good but the portion of cod was very small in comparison with the potatoes underneath. Our table had one of the specials which was pasta bolognese. For $37 it was a major disappointment, small size for a pasta entree, average taste. May want to enquire as what the price point is on any pasta special. Last entree was the Tuna. Nice portion size but didn't get it rare as ordered, it was med so for me that ruined it. The beans and broccoli rabe were so salty underneath I took half of it home. Not sure I will eat it. Sadly disappointed in overall meal experience. A shout out to our bread, water girl who was fabulous! I really wish we got her name. She was at our table whenever we needed anything and had a bubbly personality that made our evening fun. Side note to anyone coming from Newport: for years we would take the ferry from Perrotti Park to Jamestown. That ferry is not operating as it used to and the price is double what it was in the last few years. No problem, we drove over but certainly a deterrence for us as we loved bringing guests over on the ferry.

Beech Jamestown Where Date Night Dreams Come True…read more Listen, I don't write reviews often. But Beech in Jamestown had me pulling out my phone faster than I pull out my wallet at the end of a great meal. We showed up early like the eager, slightly-too-hungry couple we are. Did they make us wait awkwardly by the hostess stand? Absolutely not. They swept us into a bright, window-wrapped room so cheerful it practically hugged us. Turns out they'd lost power earlier that day. LOST POWER. You wouldn't have known it. These people were cooler than the other side of the pillow. Now. The food. Oh, the FOOD. I got the steak with puréed pomme, asparagus, and carrots, and I need you to understand -- this thing had a sear on it that made me want to stand up and applaud. The sauce? Somebody's grandmother's secret recipe dipped in liquid gold. It melted in my mouth so fast I briefly forgot my own name. My wife had to remind me we were in public. Speaking of my wife -- she ordered the Tortellacci. Stuffed pasta, porcini mushrooms, ricotta, limoncello cream sauce, white truffle shavings. She took one bite and just stared at me. No words. Just stared. That's how you know it was BANANAS. In the best possible way. The rolls came out hot and fresh, which is honestly its own love language. Our water and bread gal? Sunshine in human form. Smiling, attentive, welcoming -- the kind of person who makes you feel like a guest, not a table number. Our waitress treated us like family, which for two people on date night is exactly the vibe you need. Beech, you had us at the bread. You kept us at the steak. We'll be back on this island, and you will absolutely see our faces again. 10/10. No notes. Just compliments.

We were both really glad we went there because dining indoors was lovely, and we still had a great view of the bay. The food was delicious, we walked around outside after our meal, so we didn't feel like we lost out on any aspect of our lunch. It was just rearranged. We both ordered lobster rolls, which came with French fries. The lobster roll was incredibly overstuffed with lots of beautiful lobster meat. It was impressive to see and even better to bite into. The lobster was sweet and succulent and loads of it, surrounded by a buttery brioche bun. Fabulous !! It was a wonderful first meal of our vacation, so we were off to a great start.
