    Choc mint cake
    Kathy M.

I was at a friend's house and didn't eat dinner and found this place on Google! What a find! I ordered shrimp tacos and loaded tots! You don't see a picture because inhaled my entire meal. It was so good! (Gotta try the Andes candy mint choc cake too) The portions are so good! They're in Jamestown so if you're in the area stop in. John, the preparer, was nice and the hostess was so pleasant (I didn't catch her name so I'll call her N. Prov) The tacos have a kick to them as they should. I did take out, but this small restaurant is cozy and decorated nicely for the season! High 5

Street corn -delicious but slightly deflated and burnt.

We got takeout and ate in our car by the pier. There's very little contact required to do this. Cool feature when I called to order was they texted me the specials. We loved the shrimp tacos - so fresh and tasty. We had a lobster roll with truffle fries which was also good. I personally like mine simple and they add onion and celery. And we really liked the seasoning on the street corn but the corn seemed precooked - I was looking for the kernels to pop in my mouth. We will definitely go back. The prices were so affordable and there is a lovely outdoor area for the local eateries to share where Narragansett cafe serves adult beverages. Beavertail state park was our reason for going to Jamestown. It was nice to see the eateries are doing what they can to thrive. One place near the pier that looks like it normally is a burger place had an open window for ice cream take out.

Very cute little surprise. We went based on yelp reviews and they were spot on. Service was incredible. Food was very good - similar to a fancy high priced restaurant. We got loaded tater tots - very good. Papadalle bolognese and mushroom ravioli for entrees. Also very good. A little pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Food takes a little while because everything is clearly made fresh

HUGE Autumn Salad! Was two meals, and delicious!!!!!!! So glad I stopped by!

I was in Jamestown for a week in February 2021, and picked up dinner twice here because it was so good on the first night I arrived when I was looking to grab takeout. The restaurant is not seating people indoors right now, but facebook was up-to-date with specials and the menu. I went inside and everyone working there was pleasant and friendly. They were also helpful when I asked questions on the phone to try to figure out what to order. My Autumn Salad was AMAZING!!! It was a bit pricey at $18.95, or so I thought initially, but it was so heavy and full that it ended up being dinner that night and lunch the next day! So, for two meals $19 isn't bad at all! I loved it and almost wish I ordered it again while I was there. On my last snowy night in Jamestown I ordered the teriyaki salmon here. I asked for it medium rare and it was on the less cooked side for me, which was awesome, but it was a little salty. Now, while I say that, it's my own fault. There was nothing wrong with this salmon at all, I know that teriyaki sauce is always salty so I got what I asked for. Due to it being off season and a pandemic, not everything was in stock but I was perfectly happy to get the roasted potatoes on the side since they were out of rice that was supposed to come with it. I'd definitely return here when in the area, to try more of their dishes! The restaurant was cute and looked very clean, and I'd love to eat there someday when indoor dining is an option again! Check this place out!

Take out under the Jamestown Bridge! The chocolate chip bread pudding is beyond good!

The food is all homemade and beyond delicious! Chef's have a combined 30+years experience and it shows! Amazing Italian dishes, homemade desserts, pizza for kids, gourmet for adults, American specialities, grilled dishes for the healthy! Super cute interior ... full take out menu!

Service was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. We started with the summer burrata appetizer for two, which the kitchen thoughtfully split onto separate plates, a nice touch that was appreciated. For entrees, our table ordered the fish and chips, the fig and prosciutto burger, the fish of the day, and the lobster roll (hot). Everyone was very pleased with their meals, and there wasn't a single complaint at the table. Good food, excellent service, and a beautiful waterfront location make JB's an easy recommendation. From the moment we arrived, everything just felt easy. Parking was simple, and the waterfront view set the tone right away. It's one of those places where you can actually relax and enjoy the atmosphere without any hassle. The service really stood out: fast, attentive, and genuinely friendly without feeling rushed. You can tell they have a solid system down, which makes a big difference when you're hungry and ready to enjoy your meal. The drinks were decent but nothing over-the-top, still enjoyable and well made. Where this place really shines is the food. Portions were generous, and everything we tried was flavorful and satisfying. You definitely won't leave hungry. The only small letdown was the lobster portion in the crab cakes appetizer. For $32, we expected a bit more, but it ended up being a small, slightly rubbery claw. Just the one detail that didn't quite match the rest of the experience. Overall, this spot delivers where it counted. They had great service, beautiful views, and delicious, filling food. We'd absolutely come back and recommend it for a laid-back meal by the water.

But Beech in Jamestown had me pulling out my phone faster than I pull out my wallet at the end of a great meal. We showed up early like the eager, slightly-too-hungry couple we are. Did they make us wait awkwardly by the hostess stand? Absolutely not. They swept us into a bright, window-wrapped room so cheerful it practically hugged us. Turns out they'd lost power earlier that day. LOST POWER. You wouldn't have known it. These people were cooler than the other side of the pillow. Now. The food. Oh, the FOOD. I got the steak with puréed pomme, asparagus, and carrots, and I need you to understand -- this thing had a sear on it that made me want to stand up and applaud. The sauce? Somebody's grandmother's secret recipe dipped in liquid gold. It melted in my mouth so fast I briefly forgot my own name. My wife had to remind me we were in public. Speaking of my wife -- she ordered the Tortellacci. Stuffed pasta, porcini mushrooms, ricotta, limoncello cream sauce, white truffle shavings. She took one bite and just stared at me. No words. Just stared. That's how you know it was BANANAS. In the best possible way. The rolls came out hot and fresh, which is honestly its own love language. Our water and bread gal? Sunshine in human form. Smiling, attentive, welcoming -- the kind of person who makes you feel like a guest, not a table number. Our waitress treated us like family, which for two people on date night is exactly the vibe you need. Beech, you had us at the bread. You kept us at the steak. We'll be back on this island, and you will absolutely see our faces again. 10/10. No notes. Just compliments.

We ordered a wide variety of dishes: crudité to start, followed by the lobster roll (both hot and cold), fish tacos, burrata LT, steak, and pasta. We loved every single bite. Multiple people in our group said the burrata LT was one of the best sandwiches they've ever had.The only miss was the lobster bisque special--it wasn't cream-based as we expected, so it wasn't to our taste. The restaurant has a tree house in front of the entrance which explain the name of the place. Inside is beautifully decorated with flowers, books, old books and decorations. It's a busy place so we made a reservation. We were taken to one of the table and were seated right away. They offer various different type of dishes including sandwich, seafood, mac and cheese, salad, pizza and more. We ended up getting few things to share with the group. We got tree house tavern salad, special Thai mussel, sweet potato pizza, lobster mac and cheese, and whipped feta and ricotta. Everything end up arriving all at once. Treehouse tavern salad was slightly sweet and refreshing with candied walnut, apple and vinegary dressing. Thai mussel was flavorful with hint of Thai curry and coconut flavor. The broth paired very well with baguette. Sweet potato pizza was cheesy and savory with hint of sweetness from the sweet potato. Lobster mac and cheese was cheesy and flavorful with lobster chunks. Whipped feta and ricotta was sweet and savory pairing well with the baguette. All the food was tasty and easy very unique for the most part. We also had their desert which they bring full samples of all their desert to show. We ended up sharing cheese cake because we were pretty full. Service was good but the place was but the server was but awkward as little details were missing from the service. Lack of trays for mussel shells, brought desert with candle as it was my birthday but was blown out because of the fan. The server turned off the fan but left it off so it was hot inside for a while. I think service could use a bit more attention. Overall the place was good and food was excellent. They offer unique dishes you don't often find in other restaurants. The ambience is also nice and it reminds me of old time tree house. I would go back again m.
