Right now they've been open from 10 to 4 with a wonderful meal available all day both breakfast and lunch. Sugar Shack at 1 Ferry Wharf was our last stop for the 6th Annual Search for the Best Scoop Shop RI with RI Food Fights. Sugar Shack is located right at the wharf and there is a parking lot. I ran the bell for service. A man appeared and took our order. He was friendly. Sugar Shack serves Giffords ice cream. I had the maple walnut ice cream. It was good and had walnut pieces in it. There are a few benches around the wharf. The view of the water was really nice. Next to Sugar Shack, there is a restaurant, real estate, and a liquor store. read more

We have 3 teenagers and they offered kid friendly options which were well received. This is a gorgeous restaurant in an ideal location with a nice staff and great food. I am so glad we stopped here. It was amazing. The staff was friendly, the view was perfect, and the food was delicious. We started with the coconut shrimp which had a perfect texture and flavorful combination. The clam chowder was creamy with not too much salt as so many have. Was visiting Jamestown on Labor Day and stopped in for lunch. Atmosphere was nice and weather was great. We were greeted right away by the staff, and everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. I had the chowder and clam cakes and have to say it's one of the BEST I have had! My family said their food was delicious too! I would highly recommend checking this place out if you are ever in Jamestown and would definitely come back again! Great service and great people!! read more

Don't skip the lobster ravioli. Holy moly. It was pumpkin ravioli the night we were there and it was insane. So yummy. We sat inside because of the size of our group but the outdoor seating is great. If you could go there for a drink that would be a great spot. read more

Stopped in for lunch after a trip to the lighthouse. Sat outside on the deck with gorgeous views of the marina, bridge, and water. Ordered the lobster roll--SO perfect, with a generous portion of flavorful, tender lobster very lightly tossed in mayo. Fries were crisp and fresh. The teen had an omelet with home fries and ate the whole thing. Husband had the lobster eggs Benedict--again, generous portion of lobster meat, delicious meal, amazing home fries. On a kind invitation of the owner previous week, we decided to give this place a try for breakfast. The owner greeted us, showed a nice spot outside at the deck. Coffee tasted great. Not much tea selection but not many people drink tea, we assumed. Smoked Salmon bagel was delicious. Ferry breakfast was tasty. Eggs were fresh. Homefry was just right. We came on a Sunday evening. We were told it would be a 30min wait for our party of 4. We were never informed the inside was reserved, it was outdoor seating only, and they had live music so apparently no one was leaving. We went to check our wait status after 30 minutes, it was a different hostess and could not find our name on the list. The new hostess told my husband she was going to put our party as the next one on the list and could not give us an estimated time at this point. We ended up waiting a total of an hour and half and no party ever showed up for the inside tables nor was there any signs we would be seated any time soon. We finally just decided to order our food to go. Our only regret was not thinking of this option sooner. The only reason this review got 2 stars instead of 1 was because the food was good. The lobster roll had tons of lobster and the flavor was good too. Everyone else in our party enjoyed their food as well. read more

Everything from the staff to the food was excellent! We sat outside and overlooked the marina. I had the Lobster Roll and my guest had the Fish and Chips, and I must say, it did not disappoint. Went in yesterday eve with 7 of us... place was empty... had a cleaning product smell, and the menu was less than ideal for a family. With extremely generic wines, cocktails, and food options, we ordered drinks and left a nice tip for our exceptional waitress, "Emily". She was our shining light, however we packed up and went down the street to a place with a better scene all together. Use to love this little spot...hopeful the new management can figure things out. Great location... Too bad... Also noticed Ryan W posted a 5 star review on the same day, stating he had the Fish and Chips... 1 Ferry Wharf IS OPENED AGAIN, but for now Just on Weekends. Friends and I went there "ON" Mother's Day. Not only was the Food Exceptional, but so were the Staff. The Bartender was very knowledgeable and was able to fulfill our not so Ordinary drink requests. Our Server was Attentive Accommodating to All of our SPECIAL requests. I would be remiss if I were not to mention the Nice Touch it was to have the Service Manager and Restaurant Manager go to each and every table and ask How was your Food and How was your Service. I will definitely be referring this establishment to Friends and Family . I highly recommend the Fish Tacos........I hear that the Chef takes a lot of Pride in making them. They were Delicious. Kudos when so many restaurants are trying to survive you are surpassing expectations. Thank you for making our Mother's Day a Memorable One. read more

Great, casual location overlooking Jamestown ferry dock. But that's all good that can be said. Fish tacos contained almost no fish. Burger akin to McDonalds 1/4 pounder. Brussels sprouts appetizer came out cold. Service was non-existent. No one seemed to care. Took forever to get a check and "go" box. Only thing worth taking home were the fries. read more

I hate to not give a great review to a restaurant in Jamestown, but I've been disappointed enough that I just have to. I've been here maybe three times for dinner, plus a few ice cream stops, including once since opening this year. The food is ok. Not great, not bad, just ok. What's dropping the stars though are the prices for ice cream and beer. Nearly $6 for two of the smallest scoops of ice cream you'll find, and $8 for a CAN of Allagash. I expect a markup on alcohol, but that's ridiculous. read more

Michelle made the entire experience the absolute best! We shared a lobster roll the first day. It was excellent. The fries were also very tasty. We went back again mostly because of Michelle. When I eagerly drive out here to have a lobster roll for lunch for the first time, and I even get a nice seat at the counter-thingy they have outside with a view of the boats and the water - I am greeted by 3-4 waitresses with such frazzled "all over the place" energy running around me - in a panic... at 2:30pm... restaurant at less than half capacity... complaining about this or that... I get a Naragannset to get the ball rolling -- she drops it off -- running back to her other big table my waitress doesn't explain to me any of the 3-4 "specials" on the menu (fish special, potato special, special special etc) so I'm left wondering what they are. The whole vibe of this place felt like such a swing and a miss. Everyone around me was 70+ years old. I chose not to order lunch and just cut my losses and avoid paying $32 for the lobster roll only to be disappointed. Took 15 min to even get my check to pay for my $6 beer. Twiddled my thumbs and looked at the swampy docks and listened to grandpa and grandma debate whether a "smash burger" is a regular burger or not. Ugh.
