Sadly, at that point it was "baby bat season" and we had to wait about five weeks. On the second day it was legal Cory was out, sealed up the other places and installed the one-way door. Early the next morning we stood in the yard and watched the bats try to get back in the attic. THEY DIDN'T. Cory is awesome to work with. He explained what was going on, steps we needed to take, and then delivered. It seems that AX sends out invoices to everyone, even customers, like us, that are on auto-pay. Further, why are customers having to work with a back-office that is supposed to be invisible to customers? When we are alerted that a check is to me made of our senticons, asking us to have someone there, we comply. We then get the technician who announces his presence, does the check and checks out with us. Within two weeks, AX contacts us that a service rep will be visiting and we need to have someone there. I called, they insist that there was no service conducted two weeks ago. If a tech came it was a waste of your business time. If Killingsworth is the right hand, then your AX support is the left hand and they seem to operate on their own schedule, rather than supporting their customer: Killingsworth. You can do better, especially when you were doing it yourselves. Our 14-year customer relationship is with Killingsworth, not AX. Back-office, third party support should be invisible to customers. You are paying good money for them to do the support, freeing your skilled employees of admin tasks. AX is annoying to say the least.

I cannot overstate how nice it is not having to sit around all day waiting and wondering when a technician will arrive. We have also had some really annoying bugs showing up lately. Rob listened to what we were experiencing and actually took time to think through a plan for addressing it. He went beyond the basic treatment and inspected around our foundation and other areas outside the house to see where the problem might be coming from and what could be done differently. Rob has a great combination of experience and common sense. He does not seem interested in just getting through the appointment. He wants to understand the problem and find a solution. I declined at the time but followed up with the company to see if they could confirm the reasoning for that new price as they didn't mention a possible increased price due to the size of the home initially over the phone. They confirmed their pricing for larger homes, so I accepted that price. Kevin came back out today for me to sign the agreement, and he is now quoting $494 annually. Update Today, February 11, 2025, I spoke with Kennedy and Phil from the Rock Hill Terminix branch. Both were very apologetic for the interaction I had with Kevin the two times he was at my house.. Phil wanted to make things right and came out today and remeasured the perimeter of the home and honored the quote for $397 based on the 332 linear footage that was listed for my home (we are renewing coverage on the home we just purchased). Phil came to the same conclusion with only a slight discrepancy (I believe he calculated 337 linear ft). I am basing my decision to go ahead and sign a contract with Terminix based on the reputation of the Terminix company name despite the poor customer service I experienced over the last few days. I appreciate Kennedy and Phil for their excellent handling of the situation.

I would not recommend this company if you have a pest problem, I feel that they did not uphold their contract and get rid of my ant problem.

Their service technician, Buddy, is personable, professional and courteous. He does an excellent job and I've never had a bug problem he hasn't responded to and fixed. However, this year I'm having trouble communicating with them. First, when they missed my regularly scheduled quarterly spraying in March - called several times, no response. Finally I went to Yelp and the office called in May. Now, I need help with a wasp nest. Again, no human only an answering machine, no return call. In the past, the response was within 24 hours.
