It was our good fortune to have called ClearDefense Pest Control in Rock Hill, SC when we did. We recently moved to a new house with an existing pest control company in place. Unfortunately we encountered an ant infestation that invaded not only the kitchen but home office area as well. The variety of ant included those that crawl and others in the colony that had wings & flew around inside the house. Upon contacting the pest control company who had been treating the house, to our dismay we were told it would be 3 weeks before they could send someone out and were totally unsympathetic to the problem we were experiencing. We immediately contacted ClearDefense Pest Control who treated our previous residence. They clearly understood the urgency of getting the infestation treated and scheduled a technician to come out right away. Alex Johnson the technician who was performing the service gave us a courtesy call to let us know he was on his way and would arrive at the scheduled time. We were so delighted with the service he provided. The house was inspected inside and out to determine where the source and entry point(s) were for the ants. He was so thorough during his inspection and not only uncovered the source of the one colony invading the house, but several other ant colonies on the property as well. Alex treated each and every area inside and outside the house to include the crawl space. We were very impressed with Alex's knowledge of his trade and commitment to getting us taken care of. He is the epitome of what good customer service, and professionalism looks like. We were of course told to contact him in the coming days if the problem persists. I have been a customer of Clear Defense for about a year. No pest control is cheap but as a home owner they take a task off my to do list and they do it almost as good of not as good as I do and that says a LOT bc I am a perfectionist. Deon came for the 3rd time today and as always was very kind and professional, guy came a few weeks ago for my quarterly and did a very through job so much that bugs were coming out the wood works too get off my property but dying before that could happen. They take down wasps and their nest but preserve the bees that help pollinate. I love their customer service so much I'm thinking of joining their team. I have had ClearDefense for several years now and have always had excellent service from any technician they send out. I recently had my quarterly service performed by Deon. He is always pleasant and professional. We told him about an issue of seeing mouse droppings on our deck and he placed a few bait boxes around the area. He said to let him know in a week if we saw any changes. My husband left a message that we were still seeing some but not as much. ClearDefense responded immediately and sent a technician out within 2 days. Dylan T came out and re-examined the deck area and set a few more bait boxes and gave some professional advice on moving forward. He even noticed some carpenter bee activity and sprayed for it. I used Clear Defense Pest Control to treat my house for bugs, insects and roaches. My service technician, Dylan Taylor, was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, had great customer service, and displayed a genuine care for my home. Dylan called me approximately 15 to 20 minutes prior to his arrival to let me know that he would be arriving early and to make sure that that was OK. He took the time to explain to me what he would be doing during the initial treatment, as well as what he and Clear defense Pest Control would be doing during future treatments of my house. He also explained the type of products that he would be using as well as tips to maximize their effectiveness. A lot of people say they don't usually write reviews, but I'm serious...I don't. This may be the second one I've ever written. If a waitress/waiter does a really good job, I give them a larger tip(sorry I'm not sorry), and in this case, Robert Fluellen did such a good job, I decided I needed to write a review on here in hopes people - including his employer - see this. He was great...point blank. From the moment he began speaking, to the moment we parted ways. He was professional super knowledgeable (my wife and I even chuckled because he answered our questions before they even came out of our mouths). If anyone uses this company, ask for him. After not having a pest control company for the past couple of years, we started to encounter some critter problems over the last few summers and decided to look for one again. After researching for a while, we came across Clear Defense Pest Control who had one great review after another, so we decided to go with them. Now mind you, it's only been one visit but our tech person, Guy B. was prompt and courteous. He went over everything very thoroughly as to what he was going to do on his visit and what to expect over the course of the year. I had outside work done around my house and for some reason, ants took this as an open-house invitation to come inside.I put out those little ant hotels but the ants came back. I called Clear Defense and they were available right away to treat for them. The service technician, George, arrived on time. He listened to my ant story plus I told him I saw one coach roach in the garage. He treated for both but , only what was needed. George was polite, explained what he was doing, put on those blue booties to protect my floors, did the treatment, and said he'd check back in a few days to make sure the problem was resolved. ZACH was amazing, he talked me through what he found and how he treated everything. He even went above and beyond with making sure every nook and cranny were treated (opening our cushion box on the back porch), he found a black widow hiding in there. We have been a customer of Clear Defense for 2 years now and their customer service is top notch, they will come out if we see any upticks in activity no questions asked. We've used ClearDefense for years. They've taken care of spiders, clover mites, mice, and more for us. We noticed sugar ants coming in when the weather got cold, so we called the new Rock Hill office. Our technician George was here the next day to spray and bait. He was super knowledgeable and explained clearly where they were likely coming from, their typical paths and habits, the steps he was taking, and what we should see and do the next few days. This is an excellent service for bug and mosquito pest control. They are very thorough and employees are respectful of your property and concerns. (Ex: dogs being around certain chemicals) Matt L. really looked around for any problem areas that would need special attention such as French drains, etc. This is my second year using this service and will definitely continue. After their service, if you see any additional problem, they will come out and address it. I had a problem last year with wasps building a nest in an outdoor ceiling fan. Austin arrived promptly to my quarterly service with plenty of notice prior so that I was able to put my dogs away for the service to be completed. He was professional, friendly and efficient. For this service I had the pleasure of meeting Thomas P. I do live in a very wooded area, and because of that I get a lot of spiders. I've been a CDPC customer for a few years now. Always pleased with the service, response, flexibility in scheduling, and long-term results I have had with this company. I've had no less than 5 people knocking on my front door that are "pest control" companies. Seems when I tell them I have CDPC, they just go away. Based on the prices these "front door" pest control types give me, I have found that CDPC is very competitive. Bob and Jacob treated the outside of my home and also inside the garage. They offered to treat the interior however that was not required. We had a quarterly treatment last week and Zach did an incredible job! He was very professional and attentive to our garage, which had not been serviced in awhile since I was not home at previous quarterlies. He even helped free a gecko from our glue trap in the garage with oil he had in the truck because it was still alive. My kids wanted to watch him do it and he let them observe him.
