And Keeler appliances have not proven me wrong! Advantages: * Supporting our local businesses is important. * Service -This was an important consideration when I was deciding what company to purchase my high-end appliances from. I have had a few issues with my Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances. Each and every time Gordon Keeler responded immediately to my service calls. Most recently my Wolf Microwave/Convection oven stopped heating just days before the Christmas holiday. Gordon was at my home the same day I called to access my issue. Parts were ordered and the appliance was back in order by Saturday afternoon. I know I would have been without my second oven had I purchased appliances anywhere else and especially from a big box store. I would not consider buying appliances anywhere else. I was expecting a higher degree of customer service compared to the big box stores, but I was disappointed. I knew which oven I wanted so the Salesperson simply ordered it and the next step was to wait for the subcontracted appliance installer to contact me. Installation went fine, no problems. Unfortunately, in just a few weeks' time, the oven began malfunctioning. I contacted the manufacturer, did the due diligence, but ultimately, the oven needed to be replaced. I contacted Holloways and again, the lack of customer service/empathy rubbed me the wrong way. It was as if they were put out for having to replace a malfunctioning appliance for which was not inexpensive. Second installation of the oven range was done by a different contracted team and they struggled, for some reason, to get the oven in the space. There was a fair amount of time adjusting and leveling, etc. In the process they pulled off the kick plate trim below my lower cabinets. The installer guy said he would have to come back to put it back on. Well, needless to say, after several texts and a phone call to Holloways, he still has not returned to fix what they broke. This was my first and LAST time doing business with Holloways.
