(other company did not do repairs for speed queen). My kitchenaid refrigerator stop making ice. but every now & then would drop a few ice cubes. the 1st repair co. told me I needed a new ice maker & the cost would be $735. Alan stated if it was making ice then he didn't think I needed a new ice maker. I scheduled him to come out & diagnose the problem. His tech came out the following day. Long story short my problem was accumulated dust on the coils front & back. he cleaned them out & the next day my ice maker was working and still is. Alan and his workers are honest people and knowledgeable! He saved me $735 less service call fee which I was happy to pay! Also this was second time the ice maker stopped working. I replaced it the first time but now I'm wondering was it really broken or just dust on the coils. I would definitely recommend Allen's Appliance

The fridge and dishwasher are 10 years old and it was time for a full replacement. Since we only buy appliances once every decade we had little clue what the latest and greatest brands and features are. Our first trip was to the big box stores (Home Depot and Lowes). While both stores had lots of displays their appliance experts to my surprise knew very little more than I did. They could give me a price and a date they could be delivered, but when I asked anything additional they stood with me in front of a computer to reference Home Depot on-line. That was a struggle and got frustrating. Our next call was to our local appliance store in town Besko's Appliance. The difference was immediate and uplifting. They took the time to ask both of us questions, our preferences and our habits in the kitchen. They also took the time to explain why they would and more importantly wouldn't recommend certain features. In the end they recommended a few different options and explained the differences. I was just as surprised by the fact they met or even beat prices from the big box stores. They helped coordinated and schedule the delivery and installation and all went as stated. The team that came to the house were very professional and took pride in their work. They took the time to ensure the floor was protected where needed and that I was fully satisfied with everything. I would highly recommend anyone shopping for any appliances to include Besko's. We experienced a personal touch service, great prices delivered by a team of dedicated professionals.

We've been asked to call them back 3-4 times at this point for a part that they allegedly ordered but for some reason can't tell us the status of. Why would I even consider buying a new, replacement appliance from this place if they can't answer basic questions and shove all the responsibility on the customer to offer basic service (communicating status). Giving people the run around like this is insultingly unprofessional. Would not recommend.

At the point of purchase we dealt directly with the owner and his son, both were very nice and patiently answered every question we had. Our order, in excess of $2000, was placed in June & we were told that the stove would arrive as early as August, no later than September. It is now the first week in November and still no stove. Each time WE CALLED we were told the shipment would arrives in 2 weeks. The last time WE CALLED we spoke with the the owner who told us that the delay was only in the style/finish we had ordered, the rest were available. Okay, but why do WE have to keep calling every time to find out what is going on? Why has it taken this long to make us aware of this? why aren't they calling the customers to keep them informed? The lack of follow up customer care/service is what aggravates us the most and why we can not recommend them.
