I chose them over a competitor twenty-five miles closer to me because of their reputation for honest dealing and skilled service technicians. Over the past twenty years, I have found this to be the case. I recently replaced my original dw with a new Asko from Ackerman's, whose technician and I ran into problems that called for an oscillating saw (neither of us had one and it would have taken an hour to locate and obtain one from a neighbor) but were solved with hammer, chisel, muscle, and skill (none of it mine). Next morning I called back when the office was open and someone was round within an hour and sorted everything. It then turned out there was a small issue that needed sorting out that he'd missed and I called and within a couple of hours someone else showed up to fix it. Having dealt with a number of the team they've shown themselves to be honest, responsive, friendly and really committed to looking after customers.
